    Maui grass feed beef curry
    Rudy H.

This is one of the place you must try when you're in Paia. The ambiance is relaxing and very laid back. You can get crepes and you can get curries and by the way they also makes really phenomenal lattes! I've had the Maui Grass Fed Beef Curry that I quite enjoyed. The beef were tender and you can also ask for two different chutneys which is mango and habanero chutneys. Portion was generous, prices was reasonable and service was friendly. You will get your money worth eating here.

Searching for a restaurant in Paia and stumbled upon this one on Google. It seemed interesting since the cuisine offered a mix between Indian and Mediterranean. Luckily, we arrived during Happy Hour so I took advantage and ordered one of their specialty cocktails--the Lillikoi Margarita. It didn't disappoint. For my meal, I got the Chicken Curry & Rice wrap. I felt that the mango chutney side wasn't needed as it already had a kick on its own. I also ended up asking for more cucumber raita as the side they offered only lasted me half the wrap. The server was nice enough to give me more at no additional charge. I really enjoyed my time here. We sat by the table directly next to the sidewalk so it was a good seat to people watch if you're into that. If i had stayed at Paia longer, I would've gone back to order something else since I left highly satisfied.

Love their crepes! We come here for their Breakfast Ham, Egg and Cheese Crepe. It comes with salad and sour cream. My husband and I share and we get the Strawberries and Cream for sweets. Yum! We have also gotten Banana and Chocolate or sub with Nutella. Another great option for sweets. They also have good mochas, iced or hot. There is outdoor seating as well as indoors. Service is good. They are helpful and nice. Must try when in Paia, Maui.

Love love love the spinach and feta crepe! Came here at 4pm. It was nice and quiet. Chase was our server and she was the sweetest and most friendly server! Love the ambience of this place. The floor is mostly stones, walls were mostly bamboo, lots of plants and fresh air. Perfect place to go for a snack.

Cafe De Amis was an oasis in this quaint town. We walked in and were greeted by Ginger whose smile said, "Welcome." We both had coffees. The Americano and Caffe Vanilla were delish. This gauzy gem is filled with green plants swaying in the breeze. I love the music playing in the background which added to the beauty of our meal. I haven't even spoke about the food, yet! We tried a beef crepe and a Greek salad. The crepe was cooked just right and the beef inside tender. The Greek salad was plentiful with a tasty dressing. It was most likely the best Greek salad I've had in many moons. We had a wonderful meal. It was perfect. This was such a gift as I am recovering from a surfing accident where I broke my leg in Maui. Thank you Cafe Des Amis for your sustenance. I am in a wheelchair and they thoughtfully placed us at a table near the entrance.

Service very slow, may have to leave, been 25 mins. Seems nice, from what we seen in the food looks good smells good.

Do I recommend this place??? Is the pope catholic???? Of COURSE I do. Not only do I recommend this place but I go out of my way to make sure when any guests come to Maui they come here! I just adore the savory crepes. Specifically the ones that make me feel most truly alive and overwhelmed with joy are the mediterranean veggie, feta, pesto and the pork, salsa ones. The little side salad always throws me for an extra whirlwind of happiness. The happy hour is good and the sweet crepes you can't go wrong. The SITTING is so adorable. Perfect hawaii, laid back, garden, open air but covered seating area. I love it here okay and I almost regret not gatekeeping this absolute gem of a restaurant but I must let the people KNOW

The food here is so delicious and service with a smile. I shared the Butternut squash, garbanzo & coconut curry & rice burrito with my husband for lunch and it was wonderful! So amazing we did it again the next day for dinner. You will be so glad to have tried the food here while visiting Paia Maui. Highly recommend!!! Relaxed Ambience with groovy music and great cocktails! It's Amazing and I ordered this two days in advance row while visiting Paia Maui.

My husband ordered the fresh catch of the day (Mahi Mahi) and thought it was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right -- flavorful without being overpowering. My dad had the chicken Caesar salad, which he found refreshing, with crisp greens, tender chicken, and a nice balance of dressing and parmesan. My mom chose the chicken kabob plate, a hearty dish with tender chicken skewers, rice, grilled vegetables, pita, and tzatziki -- filling and well-seasoned. I had the American Greek Salad, loaded with fresh vegetables, feta, and pita on the side. It was light, fresh, and satisfying. We shared the baklava ice cream cake for dessert -- a real highlight. The layers of baklava with creamy vanilla ice cream were absolutely delicious, and the drizzle of syrup tied it all together. We especially loved the vanilla ice cream paired with the crunch of the baklava. The mango iced tea was refreshing and not overly sweet. We also brought our own bottle of wine (2019 Double Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon), and the corkage fee of $30 was well worth it to enjoy with our meal. Our server, Justina, was kind, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. The restaurant itself has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere -- relaxed yet with an elevated feel that makes it great for both family dinners and special evenings out. Pita Paradise delivers on fresh, well-seasoned Mediterranean-inspired dishes with a Hawaiian touch. Healthy options, great service, and a warm ambiance made this one of our favorite meals on Maui. Highly recommend, especially for the baklava ice cream cake!

I brought my food back to say this is not the shrimp in the photo and the worker said we don't do that shrimp we do the shrimp you got. I gave him an odd look because it was extreme false advertisement. I could've spent my $15 at Geste shrimp for a way better tasting shrimp. I did not enjoy the shrimp I got here. I will however say their pita bread and hummus is good as well as their lemonade. This is the only reason I give it a 2 star. But I am not a supporter of false advertisement and they did not even mention on their menu of a different shrimp served, I was neither informed when ordering that it is going to be a different shrimp. Funny enough, even though we came twice, most of us ordered the same dishes from the first night. Between our two visits, we got the fresh catch crudo, oyster crudo for appetizers. Both were great. I loved the oysters because of the unique flavors. For mains we got lamb chops, paella, filet, and beef ragout. The lamb chops were so good, I ordered them during both visits. I loved the smattering of cannellini beans. They had a fresh citrus flavor to them. It brightened up the dish. The olives and mint chutney were great accompaniments too. The filet was another dish that was ordered on both visits. The truffle gratin potatoes were delicious and came served in its own cast iron dish to stay hot. The paella came with a variety of mixed seafoods and saffron rice. It was served in its own skillet. Desserts were also great. We got the Spanish cheesecake and the warm chocolate torta.
