    Pesto chicken bagel
    Karen F.

My daughter and I headed in about 10 am and there were two people in line. The menu was hard for me to read because the lettering was small but that's a me problem since I need glasses! The establishment was clean but lacked any character we felt. We ordered the Lexi Mexi with salsa on the side which had egg and avocado on it, and the pesto chicken both ordered on bagels. The Lexi Mexi was pretty underwhelming, but I was hungry so I devoured it. The pesto chicken was really good! Frappuccino was yummy but very sweet!! I was relieved I ordered the salsa on the side for my bagel because that stuff was extremely spicy! They do have several different types of egg sandwiches and u can choose to put it on a bagel or croissant if choice. They also offer regular sandos too!

Chicken salad sandwich on flaky croissant.

Lunched here today and enjoyed a chicken salad sandwich on croissant. Fresh lettuce, red onion accompanied the mixed chicken salad, little mustard on the flaky croissant. Hits the spot! Some upgrades to menu boards - now tv screens. New interior paint. They've also got bahn mi sandwiches and breakfast plates too. Still modest, but ample seating. Been coming here for at least 10 years and in reading some of the reviews decided to chime in. I've never been disappointed. I've had plenty of bagel breakfast sandos, coffee and mini croissants - all which met my humble expectations. It seems like very few of the negative reviewers addressed their issues with employees here. I find they are hardworking, down to earth people who have been happy to make my requests happen. Thank you cafe de croissant - I'll be happy to return and enjoy more!

Too good to go, what a steal!

Today was my first time coming and it was specifically for the day old bagels & bread. I will forever support a business that does their part in trying to minimize food going in the trash. You get a lot for your money & baked goods are still really yummy! The girl at the register was cleaning when I walked in, and to me...everything looked clean.

This Is A Great Hidden Gem! Love Doing A Simple Breakfast Here. The Employees Are Kind & There Are Many Options To Choose From! I Always Go For The Veggie Delight On A Croissant With Avocado. I Tried Their Blended Spicy Chai For The First Time & It Was Delicious! I Highly Recommend!

If you want good croissants, visit one of the other bakeries in town. Croissants tasted stale and the place was grungy.

There are also a few seats on the patio outside. Great selection of pastries displayed in large glass cases as well as cakes and other pastries near the register. We ordered a mango cake for a birthday celebration. It was truly gorgeous and the cake was very fresh, not too sweet. The mangos tended to be on the harder side but perhaps that is necessary so they don't get mushy in a cake? Located on the corner in the former Panera location. Plenty of parking in the huge lot.

It shows you what is available in your area, and, of course, I noticed Paris Baguette was the first thing to pop up when you put in 'bakery,' or at least it does in my area. Literally everything that I have ever ordered here, is absolutely divine. My all-time favorite is the chocolate supreme croissant, which has half of it dipped in chocolate, with the little chocolate crunchy balls on it and inside, filled with chocolate cream. I made sure I got a good picture for you. You can see it is absolutely delicious, and I'd rather not share those at all lol. Don't forget to order the coffee danish. It's crispy and sweet and fluffy inside, and don't forget to dip it in your coffee, and it is perfection. better than a biscotti in my opinion. Ambience, I couldn't tell you other than I've seen it on the website, and it looks fine, but now that I know that I can get it through Grubhub. I'll only go there if I happen to be nearby, otherwise GrubHub it will be. All I can say is, if you like croissants, this is your spot, and if you have Amazon, they don't charge you any fees because they put it on your card. Just pay cash right after, to save yourself the trouble of adding money to your credit card balance just for some pastries. Cheers, my friends SYOY March 8, 2026

I decided to treat myself to lunch. But where? As a woman in my mid-40s, I can't eat crazy heavy lunches anymore. A burger would put me to sleep. And it's 90 degrees outside and something like pho just sounds too hot. I saw Marla SR, a bakery with light breakfast and lunch I had been meaning to check out. It was decided, and off I went. When I walked in, I was still discombobulated by my day, and I looked at the menu confused. Luckily the woman behind the counter pointed out that they have a bigger menu on paper. There were many yummy things, but I went with the breakfast sandwich on an english muffin, and a Cafe au Lait. When the sandwich came, it was a thing of beauty. No literally, the plate looked amazing. (See pic) ...This so instantly put me in a good mood. It was served with charred shisito peppers with a yummy aioli with dill. A perfect freshing accompaniment to the peppers and the sandwich. The egg in the sandwich was more fritata like - very light and bouncy with cheese. As I said, amazing that all those ingredients and it felt light! (Which was perfect for me, as specified previously... my middle-aged woman sensibilities have made me... well, what some people would call, picky. But I prefer to say that I'm a grown-a$$ adult that knows herself. :)) And did I mention the cafe au lait was excellent? Great coffee, foamy milk. ...I was even naughty and put a spoon-full of sugar in it and it tasted amazing. As I sat at my table, with light streaming onto the table, and the beautiful plants artistically strewn around the cafe, I felt at home. A woman came around to ask how everything was. I could feel she genuinely wanted to know. Everyone was really nice. And punk was playing overhead, which just fit the day, as well as the core of me. It made me think of when I was a teenager, how much I would have thought it's cool that I'm sitting at a cafe with punk playing overhead. This is one of those places where you can tell that the owner had a vision, and this place is their dream created into reality. (And I just f'ing love that!) So I will say this was quite pricey for a light lunch. But honestly now adays everything is so expensive I'd rather spend on a nice meal like this every once in a while, than a crappy meal out all of the time. And now I know where I can go when I'm having "one of those days". ...I also got some rye bread to bring home (which you can't find easily anymore), and cookies for the hubs. (Or else he'd be jealous) ...I will be back. ----- Update: The rye bread was to die for!!!! This is the best rye bread I have ever had in my life. It was soft, and the rye is almost floral. It's so unique. Will be coming back for more.

Overall smooth but not too strong, and a tiny bit sweet probably from whatever almond milk they use! I like mine a bit stronger and it's not the best I've had but decent! "For here" mugs are always a plus in my book too. Brew is unique that it doubles as a cozy bar too once the late afternoon rolls around. They've got interesting events happening throughout the month posted on their sign. Some of their food and pastries are sourced from local Red Bird Bakery and Village Bakery too if you're hungry! Parking might suck, you could find street parking maybe on 8th St or if you're early you could park by the meters for free before 9AM. There's a $1/hr parking garage right nearby but if there's nothing, best to park at SR Plaza for free and make the 5min walk over.
