Great down to earth, yummy deli! Lots of great sandwiches, soups, and sides. Think: perfect lunch food for a day out at the park/beach. This is my favorite sandwich spot in Santa Rosa! I have been here numerous times and have never had a problem. From the moment you walk in it is obvious that it is a mom and pop shop, which I love. They have cute trinkets on the walls and counters for sale. They also have beans in bags with recipes for sale which I think is awesome. I personally love the Sdyney Sandwhich with added pickles. The sandwich roll they have here is always soft and tasty. I have also purchased a ham through their website in the past on Thanksgiving. My family loves the ham because it has a crispy layer of honey on top. Lastly, I have also tried their desserts that are sold on the counter and those are also delicious every time. The BBQ Chicken Sandwich is one of my favorite sandwiches in Sonoma County. I get it on Dutch Crunch, with Mayo, jalapeño mustard, Pepper Jack Cheese, onions, avocado, jalapeños, & no lettuce or tomatoes. I also get it warm and toasted. The BBQ sauce combined with the mayo and jalapeño mustard may sound like a lot but I think they complement each other and go really well. The lady that made my sandwich was extremely nice and helpful. I got a Turkey Pesto on Wheat bread. I added cucumber, sprouts, avocado, lettuce, tomato. My sandwich was 13.75, but kept me very satisfied. To sum it up, this place provides you with a very homemade feeling. Chicken Ceaser on a Dutch crunch with lots of lettuce and tomato is a great option. Ruben on Dark Rye is great! Turkey-Cran-Stuffing is killer if you miss Thanksgiving food all year round. They work very hard on their pulled pork, you can tell. Ham is super sweet ;) Deviled eggs are the best you'll find around. There's a lot of care into this food. Not sure if they have electronic tip options yet but just in case, remember to bring cash for the jar because this company really cares a lot about the quality you get. I went to honey sliced ham nearly every week for the past few months. I always order the same sandwich and they have always gotten it right except for 1 time. It's a really good sandwich and since I'm pregnant I'm very specific with what I want. Today there was 1 sandwich maker and the owner present. The owner rang someone up and took cash, then after the transaction she touched the top of my bread that was in the toaster to see if it was hot. I started to say "uhhh" and then asked if she could ring me up because I didn't want her touching my food with filthy hands. After she rung me up she went to the back so I asked the other sandwich maker to finish my sandwich since the owner just handled cash and touched my food without washing her hands. Also, this sandwich maker has helped me many, many times in the past and the way she makes it is perfect. The owner came back out from the back and proceeded to make my sandwich. The other sandwich maker CLEARLY told her that I had asked her to finish my sandwich. The owner said "I just washed my hands" and continued to make my sandwich despite being told I wanted someone else to do it. Plus, there was another customer waiting that she kept waiting to finish my sandwich. I am very unsatisfied and debating whether or not to eat the sandwich since I don't know if she actually washed her hands or not, or even used soap. It's hard as a customer to watch an owner MICROMANAGE her employees. When you hire someone, LET THEM DO THEIR JOB. I've witnessed many times that only the owner will ring people up even when there's 6 people in line, extra sandwich makers, and the owner is in the back.
