This is my favorite sandwich spot in Santa Rosa! I have been here numerous times and have never had a problem. From the moment you walk in it is obvious that it is a mom and pop shop, which I love. They have cute trinkets on the walls and counters for sale. They also have beans in bags with recipes for sale which I think is awesome. I personally love the Sdyney Sandwhich with added pickles. The sandwich roll they have here is always soft and tasty. I have also purchased a ham through their website in the past on Thanksgiving. My family loves the ham because it has a crispy layer of honey on top. Lastly, I have also tried their desserts that are sold on the counter and those are also delicious every time. The service here is great, everytime I come in I see the same lady working and she is always very friendly and quick which I appreciate.

From the moment I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the rich aroma of honey ham wafting through the air, setting the stage for a truly mouth watering experience. I did a group order and the ordering process was extremely easy. The ambiance of the deli exuded warmth and charm, with friendly staff ready to assist in navigating the extensive selection of offerings. They were extremely patient with my big order and they packaged it perfectly for me to take. Honey sliced ham is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. As someone who appreciates good food, a visit to this charming establishment is sure to delight the senses and leave you craving more. Highly recommended.

Great Sandwiches!! Especially if you like ham - they have every version- definitely the ultra delicious Honey Sliced - that's Spiral Sliced Honey Yak - misspelled and figured I would keep it - "OMG Becky this Honey-Baked-Spiral-Sliced-YAK is OUTTA DIS WORLD!!! No seriously that's Ham sweetheart, all of those pre-descriptors and ham Dawling, pure delicious ham once was only served to the elites in the castle back, way back during King Henry's reign of excellence and luxe. Not far from the Ylp Elites ey? Well actually we are all living elite compared to those days. Excellent Roasted Beast, with Horsey Sauce (no hooves or horseys were harmed while making sandwiches - oh thank goodsnatch the animals are a-okay!) Fresh breads, it's a pick up joint, mustard variety extraordinaire, and the usual suspects- lettuce (not wilted), tomato, mayo, mustard selection, onion and pickles. I wonder if I could order a multi selection mustard on toast. When I was a kid my 2 elder brothers and I were making fun of our Dad eating mustard because of the color. Mom was out playing tennis and he was in charge. He made 3 toasted white bread sandwiches with only mustard and said "Don't leave the table until you've finished!" Needless to say we were there for hours haha laughing- even the dog wouldn't eat it. He won't admit it to this day and still has that smile.

BBQ Chicken, Dutch Crunch, Mayo, jalapeño mustard, Pepper Jack Cheese, onions, avocado, jalapeños, no lettuce or tomato.

The BBQ Chicken Sandwich is one of my favorite sandwiches in Sonoma County. I get it on Dutch Crunch, with Mayo, jalapeño mustard, Pepper Jack Cheese, onions, avocado, jalapeños, & no lettuce or tomatoes. I also get it warm and toasted. The BBQ sauce combined with the mayo and jalapeño mustard may sound like a lot but I think they complement each other and go really well. Getting it warm means the pepper jack cheese is nicely melted on the chicken. Service is always great and even when busy it's not too long of a wait.

The ham is amazing. So are the deviled eggs. The Honey Sliced Ham is a place you should go for your holiday ham.

I did not buy here! We only eat humanely raised pork! When I called they said that it was not!

This place is extremely expensive $15.20 for a sandwich! Is ridiculous, they put like 2 slices of meat! Not worth it!

Last year we bought a quarter cow from Buds Meats with the cow from Stemple Creek. We had a great…read moreexperience with them and tried to do it again this year but they weren't taking orders, which led us to Willowside. We opted this year to do a half cow, which now seems to me probably overly optimistic, but that's what we did. We wanted grass fed/grass finished which is usually more expensive and harder to get, but Willowside told us no problem and we put down the $100 deposit. It seemed like almost overnight they were able to get all the stars aligned to get the cow ready and they were already calling me for preferences on cuts. I love the attention to detail we were given on education of different things, because for me having been a vegetarian for many years, this is a lot of info building still. We found out our cow topped the scales at over 800 lbs so our half share was about 412 or so and cost about $2300. We opted for vacuumed packed rather than butcher paper, and gave them our preferences on size of cuts. When we arrived to pick everything up we did have some challenges with making sure we had everything - I was told it would be 8 boxes but it only ended up being 6, and we couldn't find the bone marrow which was one of the big selling points for the half cow. Undaunted we took our prizes home and I set out packing two complete freezers full of meats and bones. I have yet to try the beef but it looks beautiful. Overall it was a good price, quick turn around, and I especially liked that the grass fed cows come from Full Circle Ranches which is in Petaluma and is run by a friend of the owner of Willowside so that's good local business. Definitely looking forward to burgers and roasts in the very near future!
