Cant even leave the parking lot without saying this coffee is literally so good. Pretty blonde barista told me to get a honey cinnamon iced latte and wow it's so good. This place is overpriced for average hotel-like breakfast. Everything was pre packaged or frozen food that they served heated up. They didn't even have metal utensils and gave plastic ones instead. The plates were literally paper as well. I asked for oat milk in my latte and it was a WHOPPING 1.75 extra! Milk alternatives should be at max 0.75 cents extra and just because I can't drink dairy I had to pay two dollars extra. My latte was almost 9 bucks! Sausage Pattie's were just like frozen jimmy deans, the potatoes were literally from a package,and the eggs were nothing special. The English muffin was like Thomas brand and my friend who substituted rye bread for white had to pay another dollar. I could get the same breakfast from a Holiday Inn Express. The price I paid did not match the quality of the food at all. The staff was nice and the place was clean but besides that I was not impressed with the food. The Belgian Waffle was cold, butter wouldn't melt. Although the fruit on top were very fresh. We also had the Pulled Pork sandwich with fries, which was ,so-so and a Mocha Latte & Tea. We live locally and just tried this newly opened Cafe and all I can say is A-MAZING!!! It's so hard to find a good breakfast joint with alternative diet options for families with differing dietary needs; but this place offers both keto and gluten free options/substitutions alongside their regular menu. I had the biscuit with chipped beef gravy (not gluten or keto) while my wife was able to enjoy avocado and egg toast on keto-friendly bread. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and all of the staff are super friendly. We'll definitely be back for breakfast and are looking forward to trying out their lunch options. We went here since our regular place for breakfast/brunch was fully booked, but also we do enjoy visiting new places. It's an order first and and seat yourself at an open spot, restaurant. We got blueberry pancakes, eggs, ham and cheese omelette, with sides of single pancake and 2 sausages. We also got coffee. The sausage was over cooked, the blueberry pancakes we thought would have blueberries inside but it's regular pancakes with blueberries sprinkled on top with blueberry jam on the side. The omelette was just a piece of egg with cubes of ham stuffed inside, it was not incorporated into the egg batter and than cooked. The coffee was ok, nothing crazy nor amazing. The foods good but nothing we can rave about, definitely not almost $70 worth I'd say. The only pleasant thing was the male staff who was super nice to us in asking if we'd needed help, and the young lady who brought our food to us, but all the other staffs seemed like they'd rather not be working. read more

Stopped into Cafe Destin after seeing decent pics of their food. The cafe is clean and the staff friendly, but the food is incredibly overpriced. Ordered chicken and waffles (on special) for $13 and basically got a hotel lobby waffle and a frozen chicken patty cut in half. The eggs benedict was okay...if a little flavorless. Everything served on paper plates with plastic ware which just added insult to injury. We paid $50 for a meal that should have been $20 max including coffee and gratuity. read more

Waited over an hour at the register so the "kitchen wouldn't back up" but there were no other customers. Got our food and half of it was cold, one turkey burger was completely undercooked and had to be sent back, and they completely forgot another meal. The food didn't seem fresh in any way- avo toast had a tiny smear of pre-smashed avo. Way over priced for what you get. I would never come back here. read more

We drove through all Destin looking for a place to eat (the wait was about 1-2 hours everywhere ) then we finally found this cafe. The staff is really nice and best customer service we have received through our whole stay & we have been to multiple restaurants. We did get to witness where a group of four people were upset about the service but they did exaggerate and were not even in like that long & as they started walking out they were saying rude things to other customers. These ladies are awesome and so is the food! We will definitely be coming back ! The bacon is bomb! read more

Stopped by this place with a group of friends. It is very cute and laid back. Our food came out relatively quickly. I got the chipped beef with biscuits and my friends got a few different items. Sadly, my food was cold, especially the gravy. The biscuits were too dense and dry for my liking, even with the gravy. The grits need more love and so does the sausagr. I'm not sure if you get sausage links with other items, but the sausage that a friend got was a patty (it does say "patties" on some items) even though the picture they use on the menu is of links. The bacon was good, the scrambled eggs were decent. And my main complaint would be the "breakfast potatoes"...they're just hash browns (which I think we're just ok). When I read "breakfast potatoes" I thought it would be the cubed potatoes and so did everyone else I went with (we're from Mississippi so maybe people from Florida call them something different??). The price for what we paid I would say is not worth it. The special drinks on the other hand that they make are pretty tasty. read more
