The frozen coffee mocha au lait is very strong but delicious. It is located in Concourse B right before you go to the actual gates! Nice smaller version with great service and so many coffee options. The big one in the French Quarter is hard to find seating and only serves coffee or hot chocolate. This one can make espresso drinks and excellent ones at that. In addition, they selll most of the souvenirs that their other main store sells. One stop shop! Beignets are the same at both locations. Went to both same in two days. Bathrooms are clean and nice without a line. The larger one has a line longer than for a table. I would still recommend going to the French Quarter location for the experience but if you are just looking for great Beignets and a great coffee drink to go with, try thus location! read more

I was actually staying in the area and didn't expect to see this location so close to my hotel. Of course, I had plans to visit the French Quarter location, but as it turned out I didn't get a chance to. I still needed to get my beignet experience so I read the reviews and felt better about coming here. Seems like the only difference between the two places is the atmosphere. After a long day of walking around the humid streets of the French Quarter dodging the rain and people, I'm quite ok with a more quiet chill environment. Eager to get back to the hotel to have dinner and rest, I got my order of beignets to go. Since it was late, I did not get coffee and decided to get some for the trip back home the next day. I watched as they put my pre-made beignets from a holding container into a paper bag and took a scoop of powdered sugar and dumped it into the bag. Initially I was unsure if I wanted to get it to go but after seeing that, I felt like I would've gotten the same quality had I eaten it there instead. The beignets were good but obviously not fresh. The texture was not as fluffy as I had heard so many raves about. I didn't have the desire to stop by again before leaving town even for the coffee. Overall, nice location to enjoy if you're staying by the airport to get your beignet fix. They even have a drive thru for your convenience. There's a nice selection of souvenir mugs, coffee, and beignet mix. I'm sure it's great when you get a fresh batch. I absolutely LOVED CAFE DU MONDE the coffee here was exceptional. It was so smooth & bold. They are also know for their beignets which were a great addition to your coffee. It was like eating powdered doughnuts & coffee. I woke up each morning in anticipation of going to this place for coffee & beignet. I got the Cafe Au Lait & Cafe Mocha. Can't come to NOLA and not have a beignet, especially when you used to live here and you can no longer get easy access to this amazing delicacy that you've grown up with. The menu is simple. You get an order of beignets which is a plate of 3 French donuts with powdered sugar and an order of Cafe au Lait. It's good for a snack or dessert or just whenever you feel like it. My only complain is that at this location, the beignets aren't as fluffy and hollow as I remember it being. Maybe it's just this location. Anyway, at least it is close to the suburbs and it has a drive through window. read more

Located on Williams BLVD, between I-10 and the lake, on the west side of the road, this is a great spot to stop for those last minute gifts before flying out of NOLA. I came one weekday to meet a friend for coffee before they left town and I went to the gym. Walking in, there were only the employees, 2 chatting and 1 on his phone. My friend and I placed our order, and sat down. Inside is large, plenty of seating. The beignets were just as expected as was the café au lait. The interior was neat and fairly clean. This location does have a drive thru, which is convenient. The staff got busy cleaning while my friend and I were here. There is a small-ish parking lot in front and one in the rear. *NM DONUT KWEEN ADVENTURES* #48 for 2019 I dropped by the Kenner location of Cafe Du Monde for 3 reasons... 1. It was steps away from my Kenner hotel 2. I knew I couldn't get to the original French Quarter location until the following day 3. I needed a BEIGNET in my life urgently! I was super excited to walk in and see the hustle & bustle going on around me. I didnt care that the line looked a mile long. In reality there were about 15 people in front of me. Not so bad.... i was willing to wait it out for just one bite of deliciousness. While in line i scoped out the place. I loved seeing all the bright colored mugs for sale along with the Cafe Du Monde coffee and beignet mix. *Note to self: buy beignet mix at Original Location*. There were tables filled with grown ups and kiddos enjoying their fresh made fluffy puffs of yumminess! Lucky for me the line sped on by and before I knew it... it was my turn! 2 orders of beignets to go and 1 order to eat immediately and a large cafe au lait. Oohhh i couldn't wait to take a bite! My family was looking forward to stopping here as soon as we decided to go to New Orleans. The restaurant looks nice on the outside and has adequate parking. However, when we entered the restaurant all of us noticed that it looked dirty. The person who took our order was not friendly or attentive. Some of the frozen coffee and hot chocolate come from one of those machines like they have in the French Quarter for daiquiris. We sat down at a table that didn't look like it's been cleaned for days but they all looked that way. We ordered 2 orders of beignets. They were cold and very dense. They weren't that sweet and didn't have a lot of flavor. I don't know whether we visited on an off day or are just picky but I wouldn't return. read more

The guy who took our order was talking on the phone through his headphones and got our order all wrong.
