The cutest place to start your day. We ate here twice while we were in NOLA, and I have to say it was wonderful on both occassions. Great choices for everyone. Our young grandkids and grown kids all loved the food. Coffee is excellent, and the service here is even better. I really felt as if we were having breakfast at a friends home. Take a moment and look at all the art on the walls. Its all from local artists and its for sale. We took home some lovely memories and some art to accent those memories. Not going to name names, but there a few famous people who frequent this place, and that was an extra treat to meet one of them.

Great neighborhood spot in Algeirs point. Food was delicious and came out so fast, had a matcha latte and that was good also, walls are covered in art and table outside under the awning we took advantage of on this nice spring morning. The biscuit was buttery and flakey and the sausage gravy wasn't too heavy.

Loved this place! I only had an espresso but the staff is amazing, the con panna was soooo good and it was a fun little place. Very busy so it must be THE place to be in Sunday mornings.

Kind of like the Cheers bar but with coffee and breakfast, This neighborhood gem is nestled in the heart of Algiers Pointe. If you come here often enough, they'll start calling you by your name. There can be quite a line, but miraculously a table always seems to open up once your order is placed at the counter. Seating both inside and out. Loved by locals and visitors alike this place offers something for everyone. Just coffee and a muffin? Full Breakfast? French Toast? Pancakes? Bagel and Lox? Oatmeal or Yogurt & Fruit? and a ton of specialty Breakfast combos, Like the Atchafalya which features crawfish Etouffee over grit with eggs, yum! or my personal favorite the Katrita their version of Huevos Rancheros which can be ordered as a vegetarian option too. Don't want breakfast, they also offer a selection of Sandwiches which are equally delicious. (That menu is taped on the counter) Whether you have simple tastes or fancy some local flavor Tout de Suite will not disappoint. Art by local artists is offered for sale too.......and If you look around you might spot a movie star or two or a famous musician. I did this particular day and left with a full belly and stars in my eyes.

Cute lil cafe by our Airbnb. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. The pancake mix as yummy and the crawfish etouffe was pretty good. They had coffee there and pastries. Was very happy the restaurant was here.

Beautiful old building with lots of local art on the walls. Great southern comfort food. Huge cups of coffee and tea. Eggs were perfectly cooked. The pancakes are really fluffy and the boudin was amazing. Loved the creamy grits as well. You will be full. Order at the counter and they bring your food. The staff was very courteous and gave me a hot water refill for my tea.

This is one of those places you want to gatekeep because it's just so good! Hands down my favorite breakfast spot. My go to is the Katrita which is the huevos rancheros. I added a banana pancake and couldn't finish it all. The restaurant is a cozy place located in the Point and the staff is awesome. Come a few times and they'll be sure to remember you.

Relaxing, delicious, neighborhood cafe with a wonderful breakfast for a good value. I got the "Poche" and my friend ordered a classic egg/sausage breakfast. Easy ordering at the counter with a huge cup of deeply rich coffee. We took the ferry over to Algiers Pt mostly to say we "crossed the Mississippi" but heard about this fabulous cafe. We were there on a weekday so the vibe was relaxed and unhurried. I leave you a picture of the "Poche" I ordered. They asked me how I wanted my eggs and I said easy over...and this is what was created.....

I'm happy this was the first place I ate for the first time in New Orleans. This restaurant is full of culture. The services was good. And the food was even better.

Food came out piping hot & crazy fast! Great cappuccino, love the atmosphere! It's a counter service spot but everyone was very friendly & came by to check the table several times.

Breakfast croissant was amazingly delish! It was warm melted cheese on the scrambled egg and toasted croissant. You have to try!

Charming cafe nestled in the heart of Algiers Point. This place has the quintessential makings of a perfect neighborhood brunch spot. I was greeted immediately as I walked in by the staff and they were kind in making suggestions. No more than 5 minutes later after I sat my meal was prepared and ready. Savory & full of flavor is how I would describe my meal. I know it was made with love. I'll be sure to be back soon and support this local business

There was a line when we arrived, but we liked how the host walked the line asking how many people in your party in case they were able to seat people regardless of your position in line. We were seated pretty quickly, our server was great. She came over with a big smile, very mild mannered, but attentive. We ordered our meals, which came out quickly. Omelet for my husband, grits bowl for me. The grits have smoked gouda. The grits bowl is if you have a big appetite because it is big! My husband enjoyed his shrimp and crab Omelet, but he did mention that he couldn't really taste or see much crab, but it was tasty. The grits bowl has a lot of sautéed veggies so if that's not your thing say no veggies or light veggies. I had one of the fresh juices, the Ginger Sun, I believe that's the name. Oh my!!! It was so good and honestly I wasn't feeling my best when I arrived and after drinking the juice my body really started feeling better. I wasn't able to eat all my food, but I can say that juice was the highlight of it for me. The restaurant was clean and I love the long bench with the pillows that line the wall. Also, they have 2 sides, the other side is for to go I believe and its for tacos/quesadillas, etc...

First off, that honey butta hot chicken sandwich is so delicious. The spice and sweet and the butta is so rich and leaves a long lasting impression. That is the bite you'll be thinking about and returning for. But don't sleep on the donuts either! Normally I'm not huge on donuts but that lil peanut butta cup donut with the whipped peanut mouse and chocolate ganache...yeah ima need that. It's perfectly balanced with the bitter chocolate ganache, and the light mouse. Obviously, after you're eating all this, you're gonna need something to wash it down. They have an excellent selection of coffee and teas, I enjoyed their chai latte, which wasn't too sweet for my pallet. After I thought I couldn't eat anymore, the chicory ice cream spoke to me so I had to answer. Stopping here made for a perfect day of indulgence than walking up and down magazine Street and shopping. The staff here is so nice too! They let us come hang out back here after we were done shopping and needed to rest for a bit. Which was nice because this place has a decent amount of seating and a little patio in the back and some seats out front. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody. We checked into our nearby hotel a bit early in the day and was looking to hit the streets for a spot to get a chill/light breakfast, a coffee and maybe a cocktail. We found all the things at Luzianne Cafe. Whether you belly up to the bar or grab a table, both of which are first come first serve, you start at the counter where you order, pay and grab your table number. It appears that during busy times they allow you to sit first and order from the QR at your table, this is an assumption given the code to order at the table, but the sign at the entry directed folks to the counter to order before sitting. For breakfast, we got the breakfast biscuit which came with eggs, bacon and cheese, and sided it with grits. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside. To go with our breakfast, I got a cold brew with a splash of almond milk while my partner embraced NOLA and started his day with a bourbon sour. Both of us enjoyed our choices! Service was friendly and helpful at the counter/bar. The food runner was nice and then another member, assuming the Manager, that stopped by to check on us mid meal. She was super friendly and nice. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and drinks at Luzianne. Minor things noted, mainly on the cook of the eggs, but nothing awful. It his the spot and checked the boxes!

Meanwhile, multiple tables became available that easily could have accommodated us, but the hostess was determined to keep telling us we had to wait. To make matters worse, there was open bench seating in the back where customers ordering to-go could sit. I offered to order food to-go so we could at least sit down and get started while waiting, and she told me if I did that they would remove our name from the waitlist because "you have to pick one or the other." No willingness to problem solve whatsoever. She repeatedly said she was "sorry," but her actions showed the opposite. I was simply trying to work together to find some reasonable solution instead of continuing to watch everyone else get seated while our family, including small children, kept waiting. Absolutely horrible customer service experience.
