If I could give 10 stars, I would! I love this place! Why are there not more alcohol coffee place in nola?! They sell an awesome - near perfect - Irish coffee that I always dream about. There is no reason not to come here and make this place popular. I don't think many people know about it. I have been about three times and there are maybe 2 or 3 other people inside. YOU NEED TO CHECK THEM OUT! They have regular coffee too. But they do not have a huge food list, it is mainly beignets - which are delicious and they make fun shapes out them to be festive - like stars for example. But who needs food, when you have alcohol coffee?! The staff are always kind and helpful. If you want to change anything up, they are more than happy to. And they make the presentation just beautiful as well. It is a great place for pre gaming prior to a meal or post gaming after a meal. They are connected to 4141 and it can be a little confusing trying to find the entrance. A quiet place to grab a quick bite. I've been here before and their beignets are pretty solid, the minis are great for kids. I got the frostbite today and wasn't impressed. Cute little coffee shop near our AirBnB. Nice coffees and tons of sugar on our beignets! The minis are just a perfect bite and they're crispy! We are used to the softer, pillowy versions, but these were great! Very good service and the clerk was nice. I used to come here years ago for beignets and because they had a loyalty program. I didn't realize they had changed their name (I'm not sure if they still honor the loyalty program either. Regardless, the beignets were fine, as expected however, the hot chai was terrible. I couldn't even finish it. after two sips, I wanted to return it and get a refund. It did not have the typical chai spices taste that is typical/would be expected. My sister ordered some other latte, and she said it wasn't good either. Ooh the beignet place is back! But with a new name and a new menu. The beignet spot has been closed since Ida. Now that's its open, it's no longer a franchise of the not famous chain. So it's reinventing itself with pastries and all the fancy coffee drinks. Good news - it still has the mini beignets. But no longer has the chocolate ones... Which is fine honestly. The beignets are perfect, light fluffy and yummy. Bad news for me... No iced tea but maybe that will be available eventually. The drink menu is much larger than before with a legit barista working, making all the fancy coffee drinks. Service was great. The space is open with high ceilings. It's still a liitle sparse but they're getting there. The spa water was a lovely touch. read more

Just finished dinner at New Orleans Hamburger and seafood restaurant, food and service wasn't that great. The kids wanted beignets after dinner so we decided to get the beignet bites, they were terrible. They were crunchy and beignets should be soft fluffy and sweet. These aren't it. First trip to NOLA and of course you HAVE to get beignets! Everyone talks about Cafe Dumonde, everyone also talks about how long the wait is to get into Cafe Dumonde. Our AirBnB host recommended this place as the best beignets around... they did not disappoint!!! No lines, huge parking lot, get beignets! I've gone here twice now for work meetings with clients and it's great! Nice atmosphere, staff and other patrons are always friendly.
