What a cute little place! The staff was super friendly. I ordered the iced banana latte and it was delicious. The coffee was very flavorful, not an overly sweet syrup laden drink. I will definitely be back soon.

The staff is amazing! They're the sweetest! I had the Nutella affogato, Cuban sandwich, and Zambos preparados. All were SO delicious. The space is small but cozy. It's the perfect spot to get some work done or even have a small study group. I will 100% be back!

Not sure why this place doesn't have more reviews! It is phenomenal!! Wish we lived closer to make this our regular stop! Definitely worth coming here and will be back again!

A large Coffee Cortadito, stuffed yuca, and I forgot the name of this heavenly pastry.

Wow. Such a fantastic little hole-in-the-wall coffee shop that truly made my taste buds sing. My friend and I were looking for a spot to hang out for a bit that was close to the airport and chanced upon Shiloh's Coffee. The coffee shop is tucked away on busy Veterans Blvd yet was not the easiest to find. I thought we got the address wrong. But, boy oh boy, this place oh so worth it. We both had the Cuban Cortadito coffee, the stuffed yuca, and this cute little milky pastry shaped like discs that I forgot the name of. Amazing. Everything was so good and felt like it was made out of love. I have no other way to explain it. The 2 ladies working were very sweet and completed our shared wonderful experience. I am DEFINITELY coming back and will try the Cuban sandwich next time.

I stumbled upon this place today. It's tucked in a old strip mall in Kenner. Ambiance and coffee is excellent. I can work too without the loud background noises of a drive thru, etc. highly recommend.

My new favorite coffee! Ham and cheese panini and guava pie also good. Come try this little hidden gem!

I love, love, love this little place, tucked away behind some other businesses and in an apartment complex. The people were so kind and friendly. We met the owner and her gregarious daughter, and she was so kind, welcoming and helpful. The Cuban cortado was delicious and we loved the coconut empanada and ham croquette. Authentic, delicious and affordable.

Iced banana latte with banana cold foam

I found Shiloh's when looking for a place to get coffee on our way home from a weekend in New Orleans. I decided on an iced banana latte with banana cold foam - that banana flavor is insanely good! It tastes so close to a really good banana pudding without being overly sweet or too powerful. I got a 12 oz but immediately wished I had gotten a larger size! It isn't far off of I-10; the store front does not face the main road though, but you just have to turn off of the main road and drive down what looks like a long driveway, almost like the building used to be a small hotel. It's very small but just look for the couple neon coffee and open signs! The service was great and friendly. They were out of the cookies and cream flavor when we stopped in, but with how good the banana flavor is, I'm going to have to find a reason to make it back there to try that one too! I've really never had such a great flavor in a latte, and I drink coffee every day. Wonderful place, I look forward to going back.

Visiting from South Carolina and I found this amazing place.

They were fine but at the same time I don't think they're for me. Credit to them that they fried them up hot and fresh to order, these things don't sit around dying under a heat lamp or anything like that, you're getting a quality donut. I did really like the iced cafe au lait, the coffee is really good. I would recommend trying it yourself and forming your own opinion. Me personally I think I like donuts better than beignets, maybe because I'm approaching them with the mentality of a donut and how you can get different styles and flavors and whatnot. I almost think I'd enjoy these more if they had a glaze I could dip them in, or a fruit jelly or jam or something similar. I understand there are beignet shops that do that but I wanted to try the original based on its history. The coffee however is the star of the show. Better than Starbucks, Dunkin, Tim Horton's, 7 Brew, or any of those chain coffee places. I'd come here for the coffee if nothing else.

My sister moved to Louisiana two years ago and has always said it's been hard to find truly great food, so we were excited to give this place a try--and it exceeded every expectation. The woman who took our order was one of the sweetest people we've met. She was so welcoming, patient, and made us feel right at home, which made the whole experience even better. The tostones were perfection--served hot and crispy on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside. The breakfast arepa was outstanding and paired perfectly with the fresh cilantro dipping sauce. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you could tell everything was made with care. The restaurant itself was spotless, bright, and inviting, creating such a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy a meal. Great food, amazing service, and a clean environment are the perfect combination. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable breakfast. It was hands down one of the best breakfasts I've ever had, and I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!

My order: cortado, breakfast arepa with plantains, and a carrot/ginger juice because I just got off a cruise and my stomach was still feeling a way. Very nice to have REAL FOOD again. My heart and stomach both left here full to the brim. Thanks! Note: it does come with more plantains but I was too hungry lol

Location is right on Veterans, but you have to watch for it in the small strip mall. Plenty of parking in the back and there are entrances on both sides. Clean, well lit, and smells heavenly! I had the worst time deciding because they have everything from tuna salad sandwiches and puddings to the yummy cheese dog danish I devoured. Garlic cheese bread was good and the spinach kale danish was packed with flavor. The almond bun was subtle and not overly sweet. There were several items I had no idea what they would taste like, so I put them on the list for next time. :) Pricing is VERY reasonable. Garlic cheese bread: $2.25, Cheese Dog: $2.30, Spinach Kale Danish: $2.60 and the recycle bag was $1.85. I do plan on returning. I think it's a perfect place for that person who likes to experiment with their taste buds.
