Great food & service. You order at the register & then they bring the food to you…read more The speed of fast food but the quality & service of a nice sit down restaurant. Family friendly with upbeat music and booster seats. The employees at this eatery are incredibly attentive and friendly, walking around the dining area with regularity to keep tables clean & check in each customer if you need anything. Do yourself a favor and get the Huactay Sauce. And now the sauces are self serve. One of our favorites is the Tacu Bowl, a side of Yuka fries & the Herbal Limeaid. So good!

I have wanted to stop in for lunch at this spot for a while and on an early work release snow day…read moreon a Friday lunch, my desires all came true for rotisserie chicken. I mean, it is rotisserie chicken and that is a good thing! This was a tender, juicy chicken wing and thigh (1/4 chicken, dark). I really could not tell a discernible difference between this chicken and one of the standards from, say, Publix or Costco. But it was good. The sauces are a different story. They are why the Peruvian chicken really crosses the road. This is the differentiator. The sauces are, Aji Amarillo Sauce (Mild / Yellow), Huacatay Sauce (Medium / Green), Roasted Rocoto Sauce (Hot / Red), and Huancaina Sauce (Creamy Queso Fresco Sauce). I did not try them all, but I did roll with the Rocoto sauce. It was spicy, maybe too much for the average "mild" sauce person, but for me, it was a nice compliment to the chicken and sides that I ordered. And I received two of the small plastic "ramekin" type sauce containers for "to go." Which is good, because my order was "to go." Service was quick and polite. Restaurant is smaller, but very clean. Kitchen is open enough so that you can see the process in the works. My sides were cilantro rice and Peruvian corn salad. Both very healthy and both very bland. Which is another big plus for the sauce. I would also add that the location is at the corner of Garlington Road and Woodruff Road and not the easiest place to get into and out of unless you are going in a certain direction. Which I was. A minor win there. All told, this is a good option if you can get in and out with traffic, the chicken is good, the star of the show is definitely the sauce and I would say that overall their menu has very healthy options. My quarter chicken listed for $10.39 with two sides. With my Viva Chicken desires satisfied, I would recommend this restaurant if convenient to your travels, but honestly would not make it a destination.

Two of the girls ordered salads, and I ordered the sticky chicken appetizer with the small Holly salad. The appetizer was delicious, and I am in love with the coconut ranch dressing it came with. The combination had quite the unique flavors between the sauce on the chicken and dressing. The intention was originally to find something on the healthier side, but that was limited to salads as I don't eat Salmon. I think I would do better with the dinner menu options due to having more choices, but it wouldn't be my first pick. The ambience was nice, and our waiter was good too. The bathrooms were clean which is always a plus. The restaurant was very busy and pretty loud, but we sat back towards the restrooms so it wasn't as bad for us.

Everyone was there except for one person and they refused to sit us until our whole party was here. I do understand that when it's busy but when 70% of the tables are open, why not sit us so we can get drinks and appetizers? Their lobby area is very small to do this. Their cheeseburger salad is something I would definitely get again. Pimento cheese appetizer is a must. My friend got the shrimp burger and I would love to try that next time.
