I work near the place so I'm frequently object to the smells of co workers take out from here. It smells good, but the taste doesn't live up...especially for the price. Yea. I give this place 4 stars because the food is amazing. Chicken bowl is awesome. Their teriyaki sauce is the best I've ever had. And their hot sauce is very good. Customer service though on the other hand could be better. I always feel rushed eating here. Like they just want your money and then for you too leave. So please work on that!! read more

Despite a communication misunderstanding with a customee's order, neither the cashier nor manager would switch out the meal for what the customer had asked for. His reasoning was that he didn't want to throw it away. So..the customer is not right, apparently. So I suggest spending your money in a restaurant where management actually respects the customer"s needs, not pinch the beard off of Abe Lincoln's face. read more

Ate here last night and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious! I had the chicken & grilled shrimp plate. It came with 2 gyosas ,rice and veggies. It was alot of food! Today I went to Café Gossip on Sunnymead Blvd. The woman who assisted in taking my order was courteous and helpful in helping me to make my selection. She explained each section of their menu so I would know how to make my choices. I chose spicy chicken and teriyaki plate from the main menu. I had the spicy chicken and it was delicious! My family and I have been coming here for a year know.. The food is good and the service is great. The prices are cheap and for the price you get a descent amount of food. I come here at least once a week and the food and service are always the same.....great. As far as the boba drinks I don't know.... I don't drink it..but food is great. I give this place a 3 stars for many reason, don't get me wrong this place in the past has been extraordinary for many years with 5 star ratings, cooks are really cool , and the food has always been delicious never failed but recently it has just gone down the drain. The new guy with the dyed hair is rude , and I'm not the only person to experience this , he treats you like a unappreciated customer and I've worked in customer service for many years and this isn't it. The food is becoming a little bland last time I sat down and ate. My mother in law has received 4 wrong boba orders from the dyed hair guy and she stopped coming. They messed up my order I called to say they didn't give me shrimp soup they guy said he saw the other guy put 3 shrimps in my soup. I had another co worker with me we looked for the shrimp, nothing. She called them they told her I can go and get another shrimp soup, I took the time I went back only for the guy to say I saw him put shrimp in my soup. My question is, is it possible that you gave my shrimp soup to somebody else? Is it worth it basically calling me a liar? I have been eating here at least twice a month for about a year. They have great lunch specials and the Korean BBQ is real good.

This place has a very dumb policy and I feel like if you never have eaten here before you should be able to get something different. Not here you better make sure you like what your getting or you are stuck with what you ordered. Personally I would not recommend this place until they learn how to treat their customers better. Cafe Gossip was formerly one of my favorite places for lunch in Moreno Valley. Over the years however, the quality has gradually declined. I rarely write reviews, good or bad, but I felt that the service and poor food quality I experienced yesterday were particularly egregious and therefore warranted mentioning. For ease of reading, I've broken them into categories. Customer Service Issues: We arrived around 5 pm and were the only customers in the restaurant. There were some items on the menu that I was not familiar with, so I asked the cashier to elaborate. She didn't have a clue. Instead of risking it, we ordered something we were more familiar with. When we tried to pay with a credit card that we had used at another store only 5 minutes earlier the cashier told us "your card doesn't work". She tried it a few more times and then declared it wasn't a good card. OK.... so we switch it out and try another. She tells us its also not good. At this point we're positive that the problem is their card reader, but shes unrelenting so we try a third card. Still doesn't work. The cashier then admits is the machine and asks for another form of payment. While we had paid with checks many times over the years, she says the owners no longer allow accept them. We end up removing our drinks from the order so we can pay for a single meal withe the $10 we have in cash. Super lame. Food Quality Issues: Only 1 or 2 minutes after we sat down our food arrived. I was impressed because it typically takes much longer for something to be made to order. Upon the first bite however, I discovered why it had come so quickly: IT WAS COLD. The rice was hot, but the chicken and vegetables were cold. Not even lukewarm. Just plain cold. At this point it was very clear that the employees do not care about the quality of service or food, so complaining would not do any good. We simply ate what we could and left. Overall Experience: Cafe Gossip used to be run by the owners, a husband-wife team. Apparently it became successful enough to allow them to remove themselves from the day-to-day operations of the business, hiring employees to do it for them. I suspect this is why the quality has decreased so much. There were dirty napkins on the floor, although when we arrived the employees were lounging around because there were no customers. There are sauce splatters on the walls, and the paint is chipping all over the place- it just generally shows a lack of care and maintenance. I wont be visiting again. read more

Me and my bf ate here a few weeks ago for the first time I was a little questionable about eating here since it seems like the reviews are so varied. But we have been cutting the typical fast-food chains out of our diets and were looking for something new to try. We are huge fans of an asian related restaurants but we are pretty picky with where we eat it. A lot of asian based restaurants within the Inland Empire are very americanized example:panda express, pick up stix, etc. (and use long grain white rice) But we were surprised with how much we liked this place it was very tasty, the service was friendly, and it was obvious the food is cooked fresh since we had to wait for it (I prefer waiting vs. getting it handed to me on the spot). Also, I know another reviewer mentioned the inside decor being too bright o_O haha well ya it is, but it's not going to have an affect on your eating experience plus it gives the place character. The reason why I knocked off one star was that the boba balls in my drink were way too frozen to the point that they were just in one huge frozen glob -___- Other than that I would definitely go back here again :) read more

This is my first time eating there. The boba milk tea and shrimp wonton soup was great and very affordable. The place is very clean as well.
