Tried the Non-Veg Thali, Vegetable Dumpling Biryani, and Karampodi Biryani -- all bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. Warm, attentive service and a cozy ambiance made the meal even more delightful.

My Food had left over card board in it and not to mention A ROACH in my food. Absolutely will not be ordering from here ever again. Not worth getting sick over

Authentic, tasty, Indian food, with very large portions, and a European style bakery. Why only a 3? It's in a simple, cafe style setting with limited alcohol and no table service. The air conditioning hasn't worked in a couple of years.

We stopped by for lunch while in the area. Food was tasty! Chili chicken was flavorful, not too spicy. Mango lassi was 10/10, no notes. Service was very fast with affordable prices overall. Chill vibes overall. Will definitely return!

Receipt of what I ordered. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU LEAVE!

Sad to say that on my first attempt trying this place they royally messed up my order. I ordered Gobi munchurian and received paneer munchurian. I ordered Malai kofta, and received some type of paneer curry. When placing the order, the gentleman put me on hold to ask the kitchen if they had availability on both items, to which he confirmed. When I get home I open up my order and it's completely wrong. I do not eat paneer so I cannot enjoy half of the food that I ordered. It's really weird that you can't speak to the restaurant , you speak to a third-party ordering service so when something is messed up, you don't have anyone to actually talk to about your problem. All they can do is try to reach out to the restaurant and the restaurant ignores them. And my naan is BURNT! I was really excited to try this place and drove 30 minutes out of my way to go here and it was complete disappointment.

Another awesome Indian spot in the Nashville area. Tasty tucked away spot with a unique feel. Nice large variety of items without being overwhelming. The dessert case is also very bright and tempting haha. The sambusas were excellent as was the goat vindaloo. The naan was extremely soft and flaky, a wonderful companion to the saucy entree.

    BUTTER CHICKEN CHILLI GARLIC NAAN

This place is my favorite in the area! Smaller than some competitors and no lunch buffet (gross) but their food is top notch! The butter chicken is huge and so flavorful! I get the chili garlic naan and it is fantastic. Always my go-to when I'm craving spicy Indian food!

Over 2yrs. ago, I was delighted to discover my now-favorite Indian to-go place, Cafe India (Franklin, TN). Vinay is usually at the front with a big smile, friendly demeanor and eager conversation. If you want to know more about the restairant or its selection, just ask Vinay! They are also an Indian Bakery who are well-known in the community for their decadent bar cakes and cookies. Food: The food has always been top-notch. A level above in terms of quality. I always order online and have gone through the menu multiple times, ordering the next item on the list every Friday. Remember to try their desserts! Don't just settle for everyone's favorite freshly made Mango Lassi. Order that, then the first cake or sweet cookie/pastry that you see :) Service: The staff are all incredibly nice, attentive and work almost *too* hard :p Ambiance: The music and decore were all authentic without being too much, and it's a small venue, that *does* have seating, but very intimate. My preference is take-away. Tell Vinay I said "Hi!"

This is a locally owned Indian restaurant that I've been coming to for years! It's my family's go-to spot. The biggest reason I love this restaurant as it's one of the only places in the area that's "dhaba style" (aka a fast food place). You go in and order at the counter. You grab silverware, plates, and water yourself. You can spend hours here (and people commonly do), just chit chatting, eating, and ordering more food as you go. The prices are also one of the best Indian food deals in town, so your money will go a long way here! Papri Chaat- An amazing pop of flavor with the chickpeas, yogurt, crunch, tamarind, and mint chutney. Every bite is a burst for the taste buds. Definitely recommend getting this as an appetizer. Masala Dosa- It was fried to perfection though I did wish the batter had fermented a little bit more. The sambar was delicious! The potato filling was well spiced, as was the tomato chutney it came with. The coconut chutney was missing a bit of salt but was an easy fix! Tandoori Chicken- The tandoori chicken is prepared a bit differently here than your typical Indian establishment. While it has the smokey flavor the dish requires, they also add some extra spice and gravy to it! It was so soft on the inside and delicious! Mango Cake- Probably my favorite dish of the night. I always get their cakes when I'm here. They bake them fresh every day and you can buy them by the slice. The cake is not too sweet and super light, which is why I love it so much! Like I said, I've been here so many times and I know we don't plan to stop! You're missing out if you don't check them out!

    Lunch special... Thali

The food at this place is incredible!! After trying a few other places in the Nashville area my mind was blown that I've found Indian food this good here in Tennessee.... And this place is as good as I've tried anywhere in the world. If you like Indian food then this place is a must try! Hidden gem

Absolutely the best Indian food I've had from a restaurant. Very chill and laid back. But great service.

I walked in, glanced at the menu for approximately 2.7 seconds, and knew exactly what destiny had in store for me: the Salted Queen Caramel Latte. (Yes ma'am. Royalty in a cup.) I placed my order with a young lady who was polite, friendly, and engaging, the kind of person who makes you feel like you've been coming there for years, even if you just figured out where to stand. Five-star customer service before the caffeine even hit. Seating options? Oh, they've got you covered. You can sit outside upstairs and pretend you're in a Hallmark movie, or stay inside where it's cool and comfortable. We chose inside. The high-top table had USB ports and electrical plugs, which is a classy move. Nothing says "we care" like letting people charge their phone while they charge their soul. And yes, there's WiFi if you feel the need to actually work instead of just looking productive. Then I heard it, my name called out like I'd just won a prize. I stepped forward... and met my Salted Queen Caramel Latte. Wow. It was better than expected. Smooth. Rich. Perfectly balanced. I took one sip and this Old GOAT almost fainted. Which is ironic... because that's exactly where we were. If you live in Franklin and haven't tried The Fainting Goat Coffee, you're missing out. Go meet the Queen. Just be prepared... you might faint.

Loved how there were more private booth spaces. Genius! The drink was nummy + exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much, Fainting Goat Coffee!! I do think the food is better than that of most coffee shops, but I don't actually eat the food often. I've found the service to be good and for the staff to be friendly, but they only have one register, so the line may be a bit long if they are busy. It can be a bit loud, it it's a pleasant place to sit and drink coffee. The Well will normally have three pour over choices that are from their limited time offered beans. They see very fruity and flavorful, and I really enjoy that kind of coffee. They make them right where you can see them do it, and It's fun to watch the process. I've often come to try the pour over only to later buy a bag of beans for home. When you do, you get a free 12 ounce drip coffee. However, to be honest, the drip offerings seem rather mediocre to me. I would not go there to buy the batch drip coffee. I do know they have a good cappuccino, though. I debated lowering the rating when I thought about their main medium roast blend on drip - Confluence. They had a blend of Ethiopian and Kenyan beans, and it was some of the best coffee I ever had. Now, they've rotated to a blend of beans from Ethiopia and New Guinea. I bought a bag thinking it would be similar to what I had before, but it just wasn't anywhere near as good, unless you brew it as espresso. However, it's really the pour over that I drink here, so I'm keeping the eating at five stars.
