The first time I went for lunch I got the Asian chicken salad and loved it, but this visit the chicken was pretty tough to chew. I also got the 1/2 Italian sandwich which was good, but lacking something(like a sauce). The staff has always been friendly to us, but the major issue is that there have been flies seen within the restaurant and around the kitchen. This makes me question how sanitary the food preparation actually is.

The Perch is a smaller spot with both indoor and outdoor seating, first come first served; guests order and pay at the counter, then are given a number, and food/drinks are brought to your table. Prices are not cheap, but the food and drinks are reasonable and reliable. This spot is a gem, and you never know who you'll see here. Also, I love that they do punch cards (buy 10 coffees and get 1 free, if I'm not mistaken) - even though I usually forget to bring my existing card and keep starting a new one.

My suggestion would be that the owners hang some sort of draperies or whatever to absorb the deafening cacophony.
