Have been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint. The parking is a nuisance but they do have a parking lot just make sure to get validation, and when it's full you'll have to find street parking. Tried the golden branch and the prosciutto and fig sandwich, both very good. Hippy vibe with limited indoor seating, but they do have outdoor seating as well. It was also in a clay (or clay like) mug that I loved. I attended the spoken word night hosted every second Thursday of the month. I ordered the Golden Branch that was a delicious latte 1/2 the sugar and made with house made caramel butterscotch syrup, olive oil foam with a dash of Himalayan salt. It had Parmesan cheese, prosciutto, fig preserves, caramelized onions on a potato rosemary bread served with a side of arugula and chopped cucumbers. Very tasty sandwich! Service was okay. The place was quite busy this past Saturday and the server seemed overwhelmed but made many lattes in a short time. I had to wait about 20 minutes for my latte. In her defense she probably made 8 lattes before mine. The coffee shop has the most gorgeous Christmas decor. The inside was decorated with beautiful holly on the ceiling. Lights accented the shop. Was looking for good coffee near our hotel and this place did not disappoint! I love that they make their syrups in house and that the latte wasn't overly sweet (despite me doing a mixture of vanilla and rose). I also got a turkey and apple sandwich, which was extremely delicious and had a lot of flavor! The only downside was how packed and loud it was inside. We had to stand at the end of the counter to hear our names being called for our order, but there were too many people and not enough room to stand, so we had to sit and it was very hard to hear our names over the loud people. We got the prosciutto & fig sandwich along with the Hotty Toddy iced latte. We were able to snag a table inside and the food came out quicker than I anticipated on a busy Sunday morning. The sandwich was delicious. Our iced lattes came out shortly after. The latte was good, but I would love to try more as this wasn't my favorite latte I've ever had.
