Beautiful space. Excellent service and creative menu. Even the craft coffee drinks have a nice Indian influence with flavors like cardamom on the menu. They have all your standards of course for you American traditionalists. The chickpea curry wrap is a great for lunch paired with an iced porto meli!

My partner and I came by to visit for our very first time because we discovered the place thru IG. We were rlly impressed with the architecture due to its unique stones. It was giving such a classic timeless look that old India / Middle Eastern countries had, so beautiful. Baristas were nice, I didn't know they came by to drop off your drinks and food when you order for here. One of them gave a nice recommendation (Old Fashioned) & my partner rlly loved it. It was very yummy, it was def something we hope to get again in the future. As for me, I got the Greek Specialty Capp & it was solid, but didn't get the vanilla taste that the menu description says you're supposed to get. It reminded me of a reg capp but over ice. Honestly it's not bad, but I think I'd get something else to try next time. We also got food - Spinach Egg w/ Turkey & Fig and Prosciutto Sandwiches. Both were so good, we ate it so fast. We would def get it again!!! It was very light and filling.

Latin night was very fun, dj was on par, the place was well kept and the service was efficient. I had a couple mocktails for the night which was really good.

This is one of the cutest coffee shops in Nashville. It's so different aesthetic wise, but still fulfills every caffeine need. Babu is very popular, so don't be alarmed if there is a long line. The line moves fast though. Staff here is very friendly and quick with getting your order out to you. I ordered a matcha with oat milk extra sweet and a turkey and Brie apple sandwich. Both were phenomenal. The sandwich is savory and sweet from the apple jam. There is plenty of seating outside and very few within, but this would be a nice spot to do work if you're lucky to grab an inside spot.

beautiful coffee shop! we're visiting from out of town and found this gem through recommendation. It's kind of its own location but great spot with lots of outdoor seating to grab a quick bite with delicious coffee! loved the "lil naughty & spice" drink- not sure if it's seasonal but highly recommend!

Came here for the first time in a Sunday morning and wow it was busy! Although the line was wrapped around the inside of the shop, the staff was level headed and quick to get out the orders. We did not order food, but our lattes were amazing. Some of the best I've had in Nashville. Plus the vibes are so fun and different from everywhere else! This will for sure be somewhere I come back to

I've been here a few times now, both for coffee in the morning and for drinks in the evening. No matter the time of day, I consistently have good service. The people that work there are kind and helpful. The overall aesthetic is so unique and cozy. I love how small and intimate it feels inside, but if you want a little more space, the outdoor patio is always a great option with fire pits in the winter. The last time I was there, my friend ordered a sandwich which she said was subpar, but everyone else got a different drink and they were all delicious!

When Babu first opened, the entire town lined up like they were waiting for Taylor Swift tickets sold by the Pope. I refused. I don't stand in line longer than 15 minutes unless I'm being handed immortality or a free mortgage. Today, post yoga and spiritually fragile, I walked past and saw NO LINE. The ancestors whispered, "It is time." I entered. I asked for their finest elixir and received the house cardamom latte and the turkey-fig-brie sandwich. The sandwich? Illegal. Emotionally destabilizing. I took one bite and felt my chakras crack open like pistachios. My skin cleared. My WiFi got faster. The state of my soul upgraded to Premium. The cardamom latte? A warm, spiced apology for every disappointment I've ever faced(except that one girl in 9th grade) . If you grew up in Asia/Middle East, you know cardamom in coffee is not a luxury -- it's a constitutional right. I quit breastfeeding early because my mother didn't season properly. Babu redeemed her. Now. A quick note: They asked for my name. I said Tarek. They wrote Darek. I guess I looked white-washed enough to earn a silent promotion. At this point, I'd like to formally request the matching interest rates, job callbacks, and HOA leniency of my fellow Dereks. If you're gonna anglicize me , please follow through. The staff? Ridiculously kind. They treated me like a baby squirrel learning to trust again. The aesthetic? Imagine The Flintstones got into craft coffee and minimalism. I entered a man. I exited a rebranded prophet named Darek.

I could eat the homemade rosemary focaccia bread from the sandwich everyday and never get tired of it.... So good!! All of the ingredients in Cafe Babu's food feel fresh which is why it's so tasty. $14 for the turkey sandwich without any sides felt steep for me, but when I tried that homemade bread, I felt better. The cookie is also one of my favorite cookies in the city! The interior is super unique, it isn't very large so you may struggle to find a seat during busy times.

Wow! This place has lived up to the hype! Honestly, I was fully expecting it to be a "super sugary-sweet" type place, and I could not have been more wrong!! Artfully poured drinks, cool vibes, delicious flavors, not too sweet, fairly fast service (but keep in mind -- it's better to have your drink done correctly rather than speedily so be patient with your baristas! The latte was delicious and texture was perfect, americano was actually really nice, and husband said the baklava was flawlessly crispy and sweet! Of course, the decor and even the building itself is a work of art! Loved the outdoor seating option

I believe this cafe is probably one of my favorite cafe due to the welcoming and sweetest staff as well as the beautiful exterior and interior of this place. I absolutely love the layout and the esthetic here. It almost feels like you are in another country. And all the times I have been here everything I have tried has been so good. But this last visit I got the mango matcha latte and omg it was delicious! Nicely balanced anf you can taste the matcha as well as the mango. It complimented each other so well. And plus I love any place that is dog friendly. Me and my dog came here on a perfectly beautiful warm day. And he was given a pup cup.

Was absolutely wowed by my coffee from here! I love everything about the design of this place it's stunning and so fun to notice all of the small details. The service was super fast I got my coffee in a couple of minutes.

Overall: This aesthetic coffee shop uses quality matcha! I got the matcha with vanilla syrup, the matcha was nice and earthy- but I couldn't really taste the sweetener. I did try another friend's duplicate order and it was a little varying in taste as well (sweeter than mine). So I'm not sure about consistency, but I do give it a 5 because it's one of the places that has a really good base! Service: Staff was very kind and the drinks came out very quickly. Ambience: Very cute and picture-esque! I loved the vibe inside and it definitely seemed very sustainable. Reminded me of a trendy LA spot, and parking was fairly easy (weekday).

We walked in around 5:00 PM, and there were very few people in the bar. We had a party of six, so we sat down at a table and waited. After sitting there for a while without anyone coming over, I finally went to the bar. Shortly after that, a waitress came to our table, so I went back and we placed our order. Then came another long wait, we waited about 20 minutes just to get our drinks, even though the bar was nearly empty. On the bright side, the drinks were great. I ordered an El Carajillo, and it was really good! The horchata crème in it was SOOOO good and definitely the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the service issues continued. When the waitress brought the check for me to sign, I realized she had not returned my credit card. I had to track her down to get it back, and while doing so, I ran into another customer who had experienced the exact same thing. They have great drinks and normally provide a good experience, so hopefully this was just an off night. But on this particular Friday evening, with the bar barely occupied, the service definitely missed the mark.

Staff at the humidor offered zero guidance or recommendations. Drinks were forgettable, and we had to fetch them ourselves from the bar like we were at a college sports pub instead of an upscale cigar lounge. Then came the cigars. We were left to cut and light them ourselves, which would've been fine if every disposable torch in the place wasn't nearly empty or completely out of butane. Nothing says 'premium lounge experience' quite like fighting for a working lighter. To top it off, the moment a large group walked in, the bartender started loudly screaming out drink orders across the room. The entire atmosphere instantly shifted from refined cigar lounge to livestock auction barn. This place is living off the reputation of what Blend used to be.
