Well well, what a beautiful evening with live jazz music to enjoy your dinner! Upon arrival, valet located directly infront of the restaurant for your convenience. Entering the cafe with its lovely decor to the beautiful seating arrangements . Enjoyed a glass of French red wine to fit the cuisine and to start with some mini crab cakes that were well seasoned and a shrimp cocktail (huge Shrimps) but could have had better dipping sauce. Also enjoyed a watermelon and feta salad which was perfectly refreshing. Our main courses were branzino perfect portion and flavors and veal schnitzel. To finish off the night, tried the Cafe Soufflé- Grand Marnier style warm and airy delight. Love the ambience and the service was impeccable and attentive by all.

Such a great experience that I even dined there two nights in a row! Beautiful, upbeat atmosphere with a popular bar area and lively piano music. The staff is exceptional. The artichoke was perfect and the salmon entree was large and delicious (I had it both nights). A press salad was ok. The flaming dessert (crepes I think) was lots of fun. Loved the cocktails too. I look forward to returning.

It's hard to write a review for a place that you held in such high esteem for so long, only to come back and it has not only sold to new owners, but lost the warm feeling it once welcomed you with. This is not the same place we have gone to for so many years. The new owners have opened the place up yet kept the feel, however by removing the wall you can no longer hear the piano player that has been there since forever. He is a wonderful man, but it is difficult to watch how he is drowned out by the conversations of so many people. My food was food, not memorable like the food that was the reason we returned time and time again for. My wife's NY Strip was inedible, as you could not cut it with a steak knife it was so tough. Our server was armed with an electronic device to punch our order in, and would not allow us to place an appetizer order without placing our food order. Ambience well, as I said, loud. Thought the maitre d' remembered us from the past, it was clear he was not employed by the same caring on site owners of the past. It is very difficult transitioning an iconic business, especially one in PB. If you have been a customer of the past, I find it difficult to believe you are still going here.

This place is special; for special occasions or if you're just in the mood to have some serious fine cuisine. Cafe L'Europe had been on my radar for years. Whenever I decided to do a cruise to the Island, I would pass this place and think, "I really would like to dine here one day, just spoil myself to oblivion." When I finally paid a visit on Valentine's Day with my wife for a reservation, we were both not disappointed. The meal was one of the best I have had in South Florida in the 20-plus years I've lived here -- especially in fine dining. Cafe L'Europe has served diners in the Palm Beach area for well over 40 years, specializing in exquisite cuisine that balances American continental and Mediterranean styles. When you walk through the front doors, the atmosphere is a cross between boisterous and elegant. Cafe L'Europe would never be mistaken for an intimate, quiet dining cafe. The atmosphere is certainly lively but elegant between the chandeliers and the piano player, which makes for a jubilant dining experience, without it being wild or raucous. While they do have complimentary valet parking, we managed to find a space on the block right after the location across the adjacent street. The front greeter was very friendly and we were quickly seated at a nice table next to one of the front windows facing South Country Road in downtown Palm Beach. The server was incredibly attentive and ensured we had everything we needed from the moment we sat down and reviewed the regular and Valentine's Day special menu. My wife and I enjoyed glasses of rose and gin gimlets respectively throughout that evening, never straying from that until dessert, of course. The gin gimlets I had using Plymouth Gin that is my normal go-to for that type of liquor -- very dependable. The rose was very good from what my wife let me taste. Being my wife is celiac, I enjoyed the bread to myself. The bread was incredibly warm and tasty, especially when combined with the servings of butter and olive oil mix they had brought. For dinner, I enjoyed the roasted Long Island Duck, which was a symphony of magic, served with blueberry sauce and sides of potato gratin and carrot puree. I was beyond satisfied with what I ordered, but my wife's roasted Maine Lobster Risotto was an entree worth dying to order. I couldn't believe how good the risotto was served with the Lobster Bisque Sauce and caviar. I have had lobster risotto before, but this was another level of supreme greatness -- so rich and savory... and satisfying! For dessert, we enjoyed espresso martinis while my wife had the gluten-free chocolate souffle, while I had the chocolate peanut butter crunch cake. And again, while mine was great, my wife ordered something that was even more magical and glorious, glorious and magical. A symphony of sweet satisfaction for which there can be no other. The dinner was incredible. A good thing, considering I spent a bit between drinks and food. If you just ordered food, it wouldn't be too bad if you are being price-conscious. But make no mistake, this is fine dining and you have to pay for amazing fine dining. But Cafe L'Europe is worth every penny. If you have a special occasion to celebrate or just want to have an amazing meal, you won't be disappointed. You will be joyous and full of joy.

Outstanding service from the moment you walk into the front door and are greeted by the maitre'd. it was nothing short of sensational service til the end. The food was marvelous. We started with two orders of superior caviar, followed by soup and main courses. We had the duck, salmon and lobster. Three delicious plates. For dessert, we had vanilla and a chocolate soufflé. Both were hot, crunchy on the corners and mouth watering. Absolutely fabulous!

We popped in here thinking it was a cafe (think casual coffee and pastry place). But it's a sit down French restaurant and bar. Regardless the host welcomed us and sat us near the bar. We were really only looking for a dessert and coffee after our dinner elsewhere. My spouse and I started off with a couple of cocktails. I got the Palm Beach mule, which was very refreshing. We then got the strawberry pavlova--it was heavenly! It's a merengue topped with ice cream and strawberries drizzled with a raspberry syrup. So good!

This place is just amazing! Everything! I wasn't sure where I'm going to go for dinner tonight and I'm so glad that I've decided to come here. The ambiance, staff, food...- perfection. I had tuna tartar for a starter and the portion was big but I ate it all 'cause tuna was fresh and buttery For the main, I had sea bass, and again it was just exquisite I couldn't leave without dessert and I ordered chocolate souffle - yummmm, so delicious I had a pleasant experience and I will come back soon again. I would highly recommend this place, you won't disappointed

The wait was pretty long but the bar was first come first serve so we hoped to snag a spot there instead. The restaurant itself is tight. It's long but thin and the waiting area is like nonexistent so you're basically all huddling around people's tables. Luckily we were able to get drinks while we waited and the drinks were delicious. I ordered "The Crush" which had green grapes in it. It was so refreshing and delicious!! It's been a couple of weeks since we went and I'm still thinking about how good that drink was. I forgot what my bf got to drink but he enjoyed it as well. Finally some seats opened up at the bar and we were able to sit there and I'm so glad we did. Our bartender, I believe his name was Sam, was on point. Just exceptional service from him. He was great at his job and we also really enjoyed our conversation with him. To eat we ordered the deviled eggs, the tuna tartare and the Emerald Kale Salad with Rotisserie Chicken. The salad was just so incredible we ordered one to go as well. The food is absolutely worth coming back here for, the tuna tartare was also fantastic. The deviled eggs were okay, but I'm not a good judge for them as I'm not a huge deviled eggs person. My favorite items were the chicken meatballs (perfect texture, with the right amount of spicy mustard) and the prime rib sandwich (the bread was soft, steak was juicy and tender, horseradish was creamy). ALL of our dishes, however, were soooo good, and I'd order any of them a second time! Small seating area inside (just a few tables and bar seats), and they don't accept reservations, so expect to wait a little bit. The inside is dark, with warm lighting and big leather booths; you don't feel like you're in south Florida anymore, it's a northern cozy vibe. Service was nice, but didn't check in often enough (often times having to flag someone down for utensils, plates, etc). I would definitely return here for dinner!!

It quickly became clear why the drinks receive high praise! They were indeed delightful and well crafted. However, my experience with the food left much to be desired. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, which were topped with a creamy sauce. Unfortunately, the dish did not meet expectations, falling short in flavor and presentation. I would rate them a mere two out of ten. Additionally, we tried the oysters, which were disappointingly bland. Even with various toppings, they lacked the fresh vibrant taste one hopes for when enjoying oysters. Regrettably, both dishes missed the mark for me so I decided not to order more food and go somewhere else. On a positive note, our server was exceptional friendly, attentive, and accommodating, which helped enhance our overall experience. The restaurant's ambiance was mature and inviting and its location is indeed impressive. Despite the high ratings and popularity, I found the food lacking, which makes me hesitant to return. James recommended us to order a steak item that was NOT included on the normal menu. He told us it's recommended to order as medium rare. It came with string beans, grilled onions on top and potatoes au gratin. The food was so fresh and delicious!!! We ordered the chocolate mousse for dessert which was perfect as it was pretty light. When I left I didn't feel extremely full or uncomfortable. I will DEFINITELY be back soon!
