Good food, friendly staff, and beautiful scenery, would definitely recommend and go again

Swifty's at The Colony is one of those places where you just get it the second you walk in. Whether you're posted up inside at the bar, in the dining room, or outside soaking up the scene, it's always lively, fun, and just the right amount of "see and be seen." (Translation: yes, it's busy--but in a good way.) We ended up going twice because...obviously. Dinner was a win across the board. The brussels sprout Caesar salad? Shockingly good. Like, "why am I craving lettuce and sprouts?" good. And someone in our group ordered the duck and wouldn't stop talking about it--called it "out of this world," which feels dramatic but also...accurate. Now let's talk about lunch. The club sandwich. I wish I were being chill about this, but I'm not. It's like $40, which is mildly offensive until you take one bite and suddenly you're like, "okay fine, take my money." I genuinely haven't stopped thinking about it. Bonus: the crowd is great, and if you're into a little Bravo spotting, this place apparently doubles as a low-key reality TV habitat. Long story short--come for the vibe, stay for the sandwich, and don't be surprised if you accidentally become a regular. read more

Absolute Disaster - Do NOT Waste Your Time or Money We had a confirmed reservation for 8:00 PM at what was supposed to be a nice upscale spot. Instead, we walked into a complete circus run by amateurs. The hostess--young, clearly inexperienced, and visibly overwhelmed--had zero control of the situation. She was bouncing around like a deer in headlights, mumbling apologies while doing nothing to actually fix the chaos. Multiple parties were standing around fuming because their reservation times came and went with no tables ready. Ours included. They told us to "wait at the bar." Great idea--except the bar was so packed you literally couldn't get within ten feet of it. No room to stand, no chance to order a drink, no staff paying attention. We stood there like idiots for nearly an hour while the restaurant somehow managed to be both overbooked and disorganized at the same time. Turns out they had some kind of event going on simultaneously in the main dining area, which explained why regular reservations were being treated like an afterthought. If you're going to double-book your space and turn it into a private-party nightmare, at least have the decency to warn people when they make a reservation--or better yet, don't take reservations at all if you can't honor them. After almost an hour of standing in a sardine-can crowd, listening to everyone else complain, watching staff shrug helplessly, and realizing we weren't getting any closer to actually eating, we finally gave up and left. We walked to another restaurant nearby, were seated immediately, and had a perfectly pleasant dinner. This place is a textbook example of how to ruin what should be a nice evening out. Incompetent front-of-house management, blatant overbooking, zero communication, and a complete disregard for customers who actually made reservations in advance. If you value your time, your money, and your blood pressure, steer clear. I will never set foot in this establishment again, and I'm warning everyone I know to do the same. Extremely disappointing experience at The Colony Restaurant in Palm Beach. Our waiter completely ignored us for an extended period of time. I understand having multiple tables, but not even acknowledging us--especially when we made it clear we were waiting and trying to catch a flight--was disrespectful and unacceptable. When they finally returned, the situation somehow got worse. We were told my credit card was "declined," which made no sense at all. I never received a notification (which I always do), and the charge was clearly not an issue. It felt like a petty move to waste more of our time rather than own up to the poor service. To make matters worse, the waiter didn't even come back himself afterward--presumably out of embarrassment. We did absolutely nothing wrong and were treated poorly for no reason. This was a low-class, unprofessional, and frankly disgusting way to treat paying guests. If someone can't handle the pressure of managing their tables, that shouldn't be taken out on customers. Very upsetting experience, and not at all what you'd expect from a place with this reputation. read more

For good vibes, yes! For food- hard no! $60 for a chicken Caesar salad is wild. And it was dry and underwhelming. Not seasoned at all and the chicken was rubbery. But it's sooo pretty! And iconic. read more

Went for Sunday evening bingo in January and had an absolute blast, as did the other ladies in my group. It's exactly what you would expect in Palm Beach island. The people watching is incredible. It's very Palm Beach Royale for those of you who have seen the show. As you might expect, it is on the pricier side; but that's to be expected. We all rocked dressed on a Sunday and got our bingo markers ready. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and the place was packed! The drinks and food were not very good. You definitely come here for the vibes and drinks and not the food. My friends and I had a 1:15 reservation and got there early and tried to get seated early. There were plenty of open tables but the hostess could not be more bothered. We sat at the bar for drinks and the bartender was absolutely wonderful. The drinks were delicious and then we went back to the hostess when it was time for lunch. I got the chicken salad which was pretty good but should have ordered something else with it as it just came with banana and some avocado. Our waitress was very nice and consistently checked on us. If you want to feel fabulous, grab a drink at Swifty's on a beautiful day. After a day of shopping in Palm Beach I ended up here with friends at the bar by the pool. We only got wine but the cocktail menu looked great. The hotel itself is beautiful and the decor is so nice. When in the area, this should definitely be a spot to dine or drink. We had such a nice day at Swifty's. We parked on the street and walked a little to get there. The Colony hotel is stunning. It's very aesthetically pleasing, i love that everything is pink and the cute little shops. We were sat promptly by the hostesses. We had a nice view of the pool, and the live music added a great touch. I had an iced coffee and my friends ordered some cocktails, both were good. I had their chicken curry salad which was UNREAL. Packed with flavor, i loved the savory curry spice mixed with the mango chutney on the side. Who knew banana could work so well in a salad?? i just loved it. I definitely wish it came with some bread. I asked our waiter to bring us some bread and he did (i dont think any extra charge) so i would definitely recommend asking for some to pair with the salad. I visited Swifty's on a recent trip to West Palm Beach. Most of the seating is outdoors surrounding the pool. There is definitely an energetic vibe at the restaurant. We were lucky to grab a table by the bar, but I'd definitely recommend making a reservation, especially if you're coming with a larger group -- it gets lively! Our server, Emily, was fantastic -- she had such great energy and gave awesome recommendations. We ordered the Swifty's Crushed Avocado, and honestly, it was the best chips and guacamole I've ever had. We also tried the Lavender Fizz and Rosa Spritz cocktails, which were both delicious. They were also very accommodating with my peanut and tree nut allergy, which I really appreciated. I can't wait to come back for bingo again and bring all my friends! I was invited by a friend who's staying at the Colony hotel to join her for lunch at Swifty's. I had the shrimp tacos, 2 pieces for $42 and a mocktail for $17. Everything was so good and nicely presented. The taco has mango, red peppers, napa cabbage slaw and cucumber salsa. The Shrimp was so tasty and juicy. Prices are definitely on the higher side but understandable given the elegant setting of the Hotel. The service was great! If Palm Beach was a restaurant, it's Swifty's. This is where you go to see and be seen, quite literally. Prices are high but so is the experience. The Colony is probably one of the cutest boutique resorts in PB so it's a definite MUST to visit even if it's just for a cocktail at the Swifty bar. While there, we saw Ramona Singer from the RHONY...she is unmistakably identifiable by hand gestures alone. LOL. Service was O-kay but NOT exceptional on this visit. Things to note: The Colony is valet only. Swifty reservations are highly recommended and dress Code is Palm Beach chic; don't get seen at Swifty's looking like you just rolled out of bed. Portions are nice but nearly $50 for an avocado toast with a poached egg is pretty wild but we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. Overall we absolutely loved the experience and would definitely go again for a special occasion or to take first time friends. The vibes reminded me of The Beverly Hills Hotel in LA. It's a merge between The Cabana Cafe and the Polo Lounge. That vibe mimicked in Florida, we're here for it. read more

Could a side of bananas really go with chicken? How about a banana pepper? Or cucumber? I was dubious at first, but picking one of the few Gluten Free options on the menu, the Curry Chicken Salad sounded like a mishmash of things that don't go together...except they do. The curried chicken was delightful on its own but took on another level when eaten with the mango chutney, banana slices, and even pickled banana peppers. It was simply a dream. Well done. The gluten free biscuits were also very good but the honey butter it came with...that made the dish. Coffee was solid. I was so charmed by this place. It's a scene in all of the best ways but the food is legitimately excellent and the service was incredible. The calamari was the best I've ever had, I loved the hamachi crudo, and the mixed grill was a solid 2 pounds of insanely good meat. The only thing I thought was mid were honestly the fries oddly enough but they weren't bad, just not in the same league as everything else. Service was warm and shockingly unpretentious. Timing on everything was great as well. They also make a mean martini exactly as I like it. The clientele was dressed amazingly and I loved seeing everyone's outfits. Came here for dinner on the Fourth of July and had an exquisite time! I was very happy to hear they were open and we booked a reservation for two. The service was great and our food came fast. We ordered the pork chop and meatloaf and both were so savory and soft to bite in. The food portion was huge and so delicious! In fact, it is my boyfriend's favorite Palm Beach restaurant now. The cocktails were strong and tasty so definitely worth it. The ambiance was so enjoyable, the DJ was very good at his job, the pool was clean, sitting in the shade was great. Pink is my favorite color so this was my dream interior and exterior design for a restaurant and made me very excited. If you like the color pink, you will surely enjoy coming to Swifty's and the Colony hotel.
