We had the special which was crepes with fresh fruit on the side. They were huge! These French crêpes are soft, tender, and paper thin. They are very savory with cheese, meats, and veggies. Even though we didn't have a reservation they welcomed us in because they weren't busy, you can tell they make the their food fresh so it makes sense they do by reservation. We just found and tried this French cafe - what a gem! Family owned and operated; the service was impeccable and the food - wow. I had the Croque Madame sandwich, with savory herb-and-crumb-topped Provencal tomatoes on the side; it was SO delicious, and so generous, I took some home. My husband ordered the Brioche French Toast, which is served with FRESH berries and cream; it was heavenly. So delicious - vive la France! We cannot recommend this cafe highly enough! first off, i wasn't gonna make a review until i heard the owner say "she just wants to eat for free" after i complained about my food. me and my boyfriend wanted to eat here today cause it's been a while since we've been here. we've been coming here the 2 years we've been dating and this place has not been improving at all. Cafe Le Reve has always been on the pricy side but today was the worst. I'm usually a dessert person, so I asked if there were any sweet crepes today- after talking to the chef, the server (who is also the owner) came back saying they could do a mixed berries crepe. I said yes thinking the crepe was going to come out with berries on the inside and top. But as i'm cutting into it a mountain of jam decides to slide out. The crepe just had strawberry jam inside and mixed berries on top. The entree came with two of the berry crepes for 16 dollars??? really????? to me this wasn't worth the asking price, after my complaint the server went back to talk to her husband (the chef) and they were nice enough to just take it off the bill. but obviously they weren't happy they had to do that tho as an argument ensues right after in the back. if you're gonna complain about customers maybe not yell to the point where they can hear you. it was just really awkward after that- my boyfriend really didn't like his meal either. he complained that there's just a whole block of mustard in his sandwich. even tho we didn't like the food today, we still tipped 20% on top because they were willing to take off the berry crepe. but we already agreed to stop coming here after today's experience. read more

The look of fear took over the hostess' face as she glanced at the guy behind the counter. To say this "gentleman" was unpleasant is an understatement. He is just a downright jerk. Without even addressing us but definitely glaring he tells a different person while pointing at us "Can you go deal with these people?".
