Ordered for pick up through Uber eats. I ordered two Classic Kitchen Combo (one is scrambled eggs with grit and one is over medium eggs with homestyle fries) and two Reuben Sandwiches. First off when I went to pick up they did not give me my whole order. It was only the Classic Kitchen Combo. I ended up waiting there for about an hour for the Reuben Sandwiches. They were not friendly and did not even apologize for their mistake and wasting my time. When I got home, one of the Classic Kitchen Combo was wrong. The over medium egg? Became scrambled egg. The homestyle fries? Became grit. It's like they didn't even read my order. I was very disappointed with the experience. The taste of the food was okay though. Wow! What a great local, family-owned restaurant. I hadn't been here in years because my first visit didn't impress me--but I'm so glad I gave it another try today! I eat chicken salad often, and theirs is definitely one of the best I've had. It was absolutely delicious! I ordered it on toasted rye with American cheese, and it was perfect. I also tried a cup of their homemade Italian wedding soup. It was packed with flavor--just a little more liquid than I prefer--but still really tasty. The atmosphere is cute and comfortable. I've eaten here many times, it is hands down the BEST breakfast joint in Bucks County. I LOVE their pan fry pile ups, idk how they do their homefries, but they're like no other. Their breakfast sandwiches are also delicious. Dine in or pick up the customer service is always good. The girls are very nice, they did mess up my order once and fixed it promptly. I didn't expect much when I agreed to lunch/brunch at this diner in Fairless Hills. And unfortunately, I was right. While they have homemade soups, it was 83 degrees outside & I didn't want any. There are two doors to enter which is a bit confusing.I entered into the restaurant and saw no hostess or anyone to seat me. There was a large chalk board listing all soups & specials. I opted for the chicken, lettuce & tomato quesadillas. I got 4 undercooked wedges of dry chicken, very little cheese & strange shredded lettuce & tomato. It came with a decent size side of sour cream & a small container of salsa with absolutely no heat. The biggest shock was being charged $3.50 for a soda! That would be bad enough at a fine restaurant, but at this dingy diner? The menus were sticky & the place was dated & dull. There was no attempt to brighten or decorate the place. I found it depressingly plain. If you want bacon & eggs or pancakes, I'm sure you'll be fine if you're a local. But I can't recommend driving more than 5 minutes for a basic meal that doesn't stand up to the quality of a really good diner. read more

The food they offer tastes great and the portion size is definitely worth the price. I received great service my visit there today, the lady who served me was polite, had a great attitude and I didn't even have to ask to have my glass refilled, she came over and refilled it on her own. The place itself is pretty cozy, lots of Coca-Cola knickknacks and other memorabilia lined the walls of the place, which I found funny and unique. We decided to give this place a try after a doctor's appointment. We were immediately seated after checking in. The restaurant is large and expansive, with the floors covered in green and burgundy patterned carpeting and the walls colored light teal. Framed pictures of Coca-Cola products adorn the walls while a flat screen TV plays closest to the entrance. Booths line the walls of the restaurant and round tables are positioned in the center. Additional seating in the form of a small counter can also be found near the window. There is also a dimly-lit chandelier that hangs above the restaurant as well. I ordered off the breakfast specials and got 2 eggs over easy , short, stack, pumpkin pancakes, and sausage links. I liked it a lot. The pumpkin pancakes were delicious Hubs wasn't sure what he wanted, so he went to the breakfast specials on the board and wanted to save a buck. He got the prime rib melt with provolone cheese on grilled rye. It came along with coleslaw and cup chicken noodle soup. He thought the sandwich looked like something he ate in college and was surprised that he liked it. The meat was soft and the au jus was warm. It was the first time he had melted provolone and he liked it. Daughter ordered the Maryanne's omelet, which has bacon, sausage, ham, onions, mushrooms and green pepper. She substituted home fries with grits and picked rye toast. Daughter loved her order and thought it was really delicious. Walked in here to grab breakfast on my way into the office this morning. Almost every table had people sitting at them, and it was 9:30 AM on a Wednesday! Quickly ordered a meat lover's omelette with hash browns and rye toast. Added Swiss cheese, which in my opinion is a must for an omelette. The food arrived and it looked spectacular. Well cooked, well seasoned- no need to add anything else but I like a little Cholula with my eggs so that was it. I finished in record time and made it to my business meeting on time. Service was great, never wanted anything more and she did bring extra napkins so I'm sure it's not unusual for people to stuff their faces and need them. All in all, I'm set for hours. Immediate seating on a Saturday 8:15 AM visit, excellent service at the counter looking out into the parking lot. Coffee refills, etc. Attentive wait staff. Egg-white spinach omelette - quite reasonable amount of spinach - was very good, as were homefries. But when I read on Yelp that "portions were excellent," I have to say that I find it to be an astonishing serving size. (see photo) Precisely twice what I would normally eat, and I'm a normal size person, so for the price of $9.80 plus tax, I ate well and took home tomorrow's breakfast as well. That's not a complaint, but if I were on the road and not able to do take-out, it would be a shame to waste half a meal - or to overeat. Undercooked bacon, runny scrambled eggs, cold potatoes, and the wait staff kept asking to take our plates before we were done eating. Told them no twice about taking our plates, came back a third time to try to take our plates. Do not take a table setting with their extremely hard benches; you'll end up with a back ache, from how far they are away from the actual table. It was 47 degrees outside and they had the air conditioning on full blast. Before being served our drinks, we were ready to leave. I had on a shirt, a Jean shirt over that and a zip up hoodie, I was very cold sitting there. When the waitress came with our drinks, I said no thank you, we're not staying due to how cold it is and almost every table has an ac vent very close to it. She said she would turn the ac off, which was very nice of her. Though when we kept refusing to allow them to take our plates; they turned the ac on full blast. The signage for where to pay is difficult to see; we needed to ask again, where do we pay. The young woman who checked my husband out, said "you're not going to leave a tip". First, our table was on the opposite side of where one pays. She would have no knowledge of what type of tip we left, if any. Her comment along with twice trying to take our plates after being told no twice, lend my husband to not leave a tip. Teach your wait staff to not hover over people, trying to take their plates. We felt the ac was turned back on purpose. It was not the least bit warm in there, with it turned off. We will not be returning here, nor would we recommend this establishment. It is easily $2-3 more expensive on many meals versus other local breakfast/lunch eateries for no good reason. If the food were that much better, or the portions much bigger than their competitors, then I could see some of the premium being justified. However, that is not the case. Many items on the breakfast menu are as expensive as dinner entrees at many other restaurants. We're talking $15-22.00 here. For breakfast. And these are not fresh caught lobster omelettes made with eggs from a golden goose. What I find oddly amazing is that the place is always packed with senior citizens; how/why people on fixed incomes still come here for run of the mill food, when the Golden Dawn diner less than 2 miles down the road is $2-3 cheaper, is of great quality, and serves bigger portions. Ask someone else 15 minutes later and the next thing after an hour asking what did we order and she first said the food went to someone else and then she forgot to put the order in. If I explain nicely which I did the first time 45 minutes into this and stated I have a meeting and need to be out in another 45 minutes at that time you should have checked on our meal not wait another 15 minutes to say you forgot to put my order in. Awesome little find in the area near Sesame Place. If you're like us, you realize a lot of the local hotels don't have the best "free" breakfast and you go looking for good local spots to get a meal that will last you a good part of the day. This is definitely that sort of location. 4 of us went there and were seated immediately. The motif is an homage to old school Coca-Cola bottles and images with a fairly 80s decor outside of that. It feels homey and not trying too hard to go with a more classic look. The coffee was solid and the waitstaff attentive and responsive while being friendly. When ordering, the waitress even made a suggestion that saved us money, but got us more food (2x kids French toast vs a regular stack French toast). My wife and I split the southern style Benedict. Wow. Sausage gravy, perfectly runny eggs, a crumbly biscuit... yes!!! I also got a side of bacon and it came out perfectly crispy, maybe a slight bit over but definitely well made and tasty. With the bacon, 2 coffees, 2 juices for the kids, the 2 kids meals, and the 1 Benedict meal, we were out the door at $40+tip. Not bad when you get food for 4 at $10 per person. I'd definitely recommend this in the area if you're looking for a spot that will fill you up with tasty and old school home cooked style food, all while not breaking the bank. read more

This place has been in my bookmarks forever and I am glad I finally got a chance to come here. If you are a fan of Coke-a-Cola this is your place. The restaurant is completely decorated in only Coke nostalgia. Its really great to see the different ads or labels from my childhood. You could spend an afternoon here looking at it all. They are only open until 3pm, and if you go on a weekend be prepared to wait but its only about a 10-15 minute wait at most.The food is always delicious. Updating my review again because we thought we'd give them one more chance since they used to be so good. USED TO BE. Summary: this will be the LAST update because we definitely won't be back. We went in and were seated promptly. We were greeted by our server within a minute or so. She said she had to grab food for another table before she could take our order, but after she brought that food, she started buzzing around other tables for another 5-10 minutes before she eventually circled back. We gave her the benefit of the doubt: maybe she's just swamped. She took the order and the food came out in about 10-15 minutes. Food was very hot & very good, although my order wasn't correct. By the time the server returned, it was well into the meal, and I had just decided to eat what I was brought. I had a good bit left and asked for a box and a glass of water. She dashed off to get the box and never came back until about 20 minutes later and then, she was empty-handed. She said she forgot all about the water and the box. I said just forget the box, just hand me the check while you're here, and she did. Swamped? Preoccupied? Both? Who knows. We went to the adjacent area where you pay the check. Three other people were already standing around waiting when we entered that room where a manager was in progress aiding the cashier with an issue in the payment processing system for another 5-10 minutes. During that time, another 2 customers had walked in the pick-up door. After the manager left the area, the cashier immediately walked away from the register and walked to the take-out rack and called out the name of a pick up order; it was one of the people who just walked in. So she waited on that person, and then she waited on the guy who walked in right before her, completely ignoring us. Then, the cashier disappeared from the room entirely for another 5 minutes. When she returned, we asserted ourselves with our check because we had been standing around waiting just to pay for 15 minutes. It was obvious...she was frazzled by the whole job of balancing cashiering and fulfilling pickup orders. A combined half hour was spent just waiting on a doggie bag that never came and attempting to pay the bill. As much as we loved our visits last year, based on the poor experience earlier this year and now this one... we're done coming here. read more
