I came here for a birthday party. They have separate rooms if you need to reserve a space for your parties. The food was pretty good! They served complimentary bread which was phenomenal. You can literally get full off of that. I also ordered the linguine vongole (clam) which was good, but for some reason mine was more sour than another guests' linguine. Maybe a too much lemon? I also tried the fettuccine mediterraneo which was super cheesey and creamy, more on the bland side but asking for red pepper flakes helped. I really enjoyed the fettuccine over the linguine dish. Both pasta noodle texture was really good. The server came around here and there, and was also friendly and patient. I visited this restaurant on May 16th for my sister's birthday celebration. I made reservations ahead of time and specifically noted that it was for a birthday, so we were expecting a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had. Our waiter was extremely inattentive and confusing from the start. Several people at our table asked questions about a pasta dish that included meatballs and sausage, and none of us could get a straight explanation from him. He kept going around in circles trying to describe the dish, repeatedly mentioning there was a $2 difference depending on how many meatballs or sausage you received, but no one at the table could understand what he was actually explaining. In the end, both my sister and cousin basically gave up and just said, "Okay, whatever we want one meatball and one sausage." We later realized the "sausage" was actually ground sausage in the sauce -- not a sausage link as we had understood. He also repeatedly tried to upsell us on additional menu items we had clearly shown no interest in ordering. Instead of listening to what we actually wanted, it felt like he was more focused on pushing extra items onto the table. To make matters worse, my sister and cousin ordered the exact same dish, yet my sister received three meatballs while my cousin only received one. There was no explanation for the inconsistency. The service throughout the evening was terrible. Our waiter rarely checked on our table and disappeared for long stretches of time. We actually had to stop another employee walking by just to get boxes for our leftovers and a dessert menu. Meanwhile, the table next to us had a waitress who was attentive and constantly checking on them, which made the difference in service even more noticeable. At one point, our waiter mentioned they had a lot of walk-ins that evening. However, we had made reservations in advance for a birthday celebration, so that should not have affected the level of service we received. Even getting the check at the end took an unnecessarily long time after we finally managed to get his attention. Overall, the entire experience was disappointing, disorganized, and frustrating -- especially for what was supposed to be a special birthday dinner. read more

Nice Italian restaurant on the southern end of Severna Park. Has several different connected rooms/seating areas. We were seated at the 3rd (out of 4) from the front. When they seat you, they don't fill up one room and leave the others empty. They spread it out so that you can hear each other talk and aren't crowded. There were about 8 appetizer choices, several pastas, and several main courses. We went during "Greek week" - so our experience was that there were additional dishes added - so we tried some. There's free bread with olive oil served with all meals. Pasta noodles are done really well. Great crab soup. They do have a bar area. Main course portions are good-sized; we were too full to try dessert. Reasonably priced - a little higher-end than average - but the food matches. read more

The entrance to no fault of their own is an instant watch your step moment. Geese/duck poo all over the sidewalks. However once you've made it inside, it is very welcoming. We called on a Friday night and had a reservation for two. The hosts were able to get us a bigger table, which was very appreciated. Amy, our server was extremely nice and very personable. It was well kept inside and cozy and warm. We wer attended to perfectly, from refills of water to amazing warm bread and olive oil, YUMMY! My wife had pheasant and I had Blue Crab Cacio E Pepe. I visited Mezzanote recently with a group of 7 friends and enjoyed the visit, untiil the (separate) checks arrived.... Someone in our party noted that their Lemondrop cocktail was charged as a breakdown: a fee for vodka, a fee for "Lemondrop", and a fee for "Martini". The entire cost for the cocktail was over $15 - more than any cocktail listed on the menu. Another member of our group was charged more for her entree than what was listed on the menu. When we questioned the server about this, she pointed out a disclaimer on the menu that said "all prices subject to market changes" - which is usuallyposted on the menu, but since when is that a warning for changing the prices of any menu item at any time? Upon receiving our individual checks, we noted that a larger than usual automatic group gratuity added to it - in excess of 20%. This despite the menu stating that "a 20% gratuity added to all parties of 7 or more". When we brought this to the attention of the staff, including Craig Sundusky, the manager, we were told "this is how the program works" and "maybe the tax was added to the gratuity". What could have been a memorable evening with friends was overshadowed by these questionable billing practices and a lack of accountability from both staff and management. Hidden charges, inflated prices, and gratuity games are unacceptable, and the dismissive attitude when concerns were raised only added insult to injury. Until Mezzanote addresses these practices, I cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a fair and trustworthy dining experience. read more

When we walked in we knew we had to leave our ideas of Mediterranean pub grub at the door. What we got instead was some wonderfully prepared food which started with some bread and a delicate yet quite robust sunflower oil and sun-dried tomato starter and expanded to a hearty portion of crispy Brussels sprouts which had all sorts of multiple flavors going on. These were not your father's crispy sprouts. The pappardelle mignon was a nice foil to the arctic weather outside and made you stop and take it in slowly because it, too, was not a single taste you plowed through. The bison casarecce's scroll-like shape was true to form and made sure it held onto the flavorful sauce which was occasionally punctuated by fennel and intriguing strips of crispy carrots. Both were perfectly hearty and were taken home where they did not diminish in flavor when re-heated. Buonissimo! The meal ended with the blood orange torta which was better in idea and the pre-conceived notion of what it could have been based on what proceeded it. A bright splash of citrus in a dense cake was muted but it disappeared quickly nevertheless. The staff was very able and there was no rush to turn the table. The two top tables are a tad too tiny and you'll quickly run out of room so if possible, try for a four top. This was a delightful find and look forward to another visit. read more

Update 1/3/2023: My mom ordered the Campanelle E Cheese and came down with food poisoning later that night. It was awful. She called to alert the restaurant after a few days of trying to decide if she should. They offered her a refund. They gave her a refund for the cost of the item that gave her food poisoning. The night was unfortunately ruined for my family. We will never return based on this customer service. Service was off and slow. We came on 12/22/2022 for my parents anniversary. Our waiter had what appeared to be the whole lounge area. We rarely saw him and had to ask others for water refills, silverware, boxes, and the check. I started off with the Eggplant Rolletini but swapped the tomato sauce for the Parmesan sauce. I also ordered the Pescatore pizza. Delicious but the crust was flimsy. Although my Oysters Rocksfeller had to be sent back due to excessive shells in the mix, the remainder of the meal was exemplary. Of note...our server Colin, who was professional, unobtrusive and personable! Tribeca! Honestly we came here for a free investment seminar and didn't pay for our meal but we were bowled over so much by the tastiness of my filet entree , my SO's shrimp fettuccini as well as the calamari appetizer and salad. Add to that 5 star attentive service that started with the greeter, continued with our excellent waiter and bus service. Its also very pretty inside and decorated in relaxing tones. Came here for an anniversary celebration with a bunch of family. We ordered a variety of dishes- I had the chicken parmesan and it was great. The pasta is homemade and the portions are large! I ended up taking half of it home, probably because I filled up on the warm bread and oil. Our waitress was exceptional. She kept up with our group of 14 and was even able to separate checks for us at the end of the end. Will def return! read more

I attended a private event last night (Oct. 23, '25) at this restaurant. I like that it's an "Open Table" venue. The food was very good. However, there was an eyebrow hair stuck in the white tablecloth at my setting - ugh. I politely mentioned it to the waiter who told me that I should just brush it off, then he simply walked away. Wow! I live in Annapolis, so I don't get up to Severna Park too often. This morning, I had a dentist appointment in the little office park adjacent to this restaurant, so I decided to check it out for lunch. The interior is lovely and stylishly decorated. The seating is at different levels, separated by half walls, to maximize privacy. They start you out with a bread basket, served with olive oil with a tomato & parmesan blend. That could almost have been a meal by itself. I ordered the Scallop Trucco Risotto. The menu description said "scallop pieces" but there was a whole scallop on top and chopped scallops throughout the dish. It was delicious. The tasty risotto also contained chopped tomatoes, and it was garnished with micro greens. I thought for a minute that I had received the larger dinner portion since I had not explicitly asked for the lunch size. When I asked the server at the end, he confirmed it was the lunch portion--a humongous amount for the price (only $17). The service was friendly and prompt, the food was wonderful, and the atmosphere was charming. I will definitely put this on my list for a return visit. read more

We went here on a whim for a late lunch date. I enjoyed this restaurant before so figured why not. My hubby is a sweetheart taking me here. Parking was easy as it was not busy and the restaurant is very clean and I like the ambiance. It's got a small room feel even though it's a bit place. We chose to sit inside because it was unseasonably warm and well, we preferred to check out the inside. There was only one other group and our waiter seemed nice. We started with a tower of delicious fontina, apples, in puff pastry. I couldn't find the description online so the name eludes me. But it was delicious, there was hints of nutmeg and it was just an all around great way to start a meal. I did a pick your pasta bowl, I enjoyed a pappardelle with smoked garlic demi and spinach, peas, and mushrooms. I expected more from the mushrooms but the demi was delicious, it was a dark thick sauce that was similar to a steak sauce. My hubby enjoyed a pizza meats and pepperoni, it was called a Marcello. The crust was softer than I expected. But he enjoyed it. We also crisped it up more when we were home later for dinner. It was good then too. We also enjoyed an amazing house made crème brulee that I highly recommend. I couldn't help but taste it. I didn't see anything vegan here, so I opted for vegetarian. But the food is locally sourced and I definitely like that. I love the food, and would love to see some vegan options on the menu in the future. The waiter was nice - but short. First time visiting, went for anniversary dinner. By chance, was not a planned visit. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted with whatever lovely smell is wafting from the kitchen. The two women working the front were so kind and attentive. We got a seat right away. Our server was Kaitlin (not sure on spelling). She was wonderful. She made great recommendations. Made sure to answer any questions we had. Checked on us in a timely matter. Very sweet. Perfect spot for a romantic dinner. The lighting was a little dim. But I didn't mind. The food. You get bread with a wonderful dipping oil. A great little starter. Ordered the Montasio Frico for an appetizer. I was a fan. The crispy cheese sold me. I could have filled up on that alone. I had the Chilean sea bass. I believe it was supposed to have a park crust. I don't notice much of a crust. But it was cooked to perfection. Flaky. Tender. Juicy. Went on Tuesday after work for a first date at the recommendation of a friend. We sat in the bar with original intention of a glass of wine and conversation. The ambiance was so nice we stayed for dinner. Linguini and clams and Spaghetti Pomodoro were both well presented and tasty. We both commented that the pasta was a little sticky.
