Regardless, I feel as though the server could have mentioned "the fruit will be extra" so I could have corrected my decision. There was absolutely no reason why I would EVER pay $15 for $3 worth of pineapple, especially for kids. The waitress was nice enough, I was just very annoyed about the fruit situation. She seemed to think it was intuitive and kinda shrugged when I told her about the confusion. With four kids, $15 for fruit is just insane. She brought cheesecake as an apology for the messed up kids' meals. But I would have rather not had the cheesecake and just gotten the fruit taken off the ticket. They didn't even eat it, as kids do. The restaurant was nice. It just looked a little run down. Like the floors were extremely dirty, they need a good cleaning. Despite being very busy, we were seated quickly-that was a pleasant surprise. In summary, be prepared to send food back to be cooked properly. And good Lord, make sure you don't accidentally order fruit, it's $5 for 10 small chunks of pineapple.

I ordered the steamed shrimp which were extremely bland, could tell they were frozen and overcooked. I have never not enjoyed steamed shrimp but these were the exception they also had a strong bleach smell. My partner ordered the turkey burger and didn't rave about it but also didn't complain about it. Nothing was life changing from what I could see that others were ordering. Seems that this is a place for drinking, camaraderie, and entertainment as there are also pool tables which I believe were free to use. No rush to return but if looking for an inviting place to play pool will return. One thing I did not like is that their are no small tables to sit your drink while playing pool as I was raised that you need to have your eyes on your drink when out in public at all times. The general manager is focused and attentive, and clearly his leadership has infected his staff with superior service performance and exceptional food quality. The bartenders are great and the atmosphere is always fun and lively. The Thursday half-price bottles of wine is always a wonderful treat too!
