    Large cheese pizza

WARNING service and food is TRASH. I ordered a large cheese pizza me & my mother tasted it and it was horrible.. worse than school lunch pizza.. I don't even know what type of cheese was on it but it was horrific. & burnt. I called them to ask for a refund and the owner kept asking what was wrong with the pizza so I proceeded to tell him it wasn't good at ALL considering the fact it was $20 I wanted my money back or some type of accommodation. He then told me to never order from there again and hung up on me. BEWARE do not order from here.

    Vegan pizza mmmmmmm

Herald Harbor Hideaway is a GEM! It's the perfect neighborhood bar with a great bar, table top seating, and a little hearth area complete with sofa and wingback chairs. The bartenders are friendly and fast, especially Tracy!!! I've been tons of times and always loved it. The pizza is BOMB and they were more than happy to make me a vegan cheese-less pizza with mushrooms and olives, it was SO GOOD!! I went recently to watch a Saints football game that started kind of late - Tracy put the game on all the TVs just for us and she even stayed open late so we could watch the end. Five stars, two thumbs up, six stars if I could!

Pizza is thin crust crispy and fresh.

One kids' meal had a rare cheeseburger, then another was a grilled cheese with bread so stale that it was crumbly. Also, we didn't realize the kids' meals came with fries OR fruit, the menu was not quite clear. Regardless, I feel as though the server could have mentioned "the fruit will be extra" so I could have corrected my decision. There was absolutely no reason why I would EVER pay $15 for $3 worth of pineapple, especially for kids. The waitress was nice enough, I was just very annoyed about the fruit situation. She seemed to think it was intuitive and kinda shrugged when I told her about the confusion. With four kids, $15 for fruit is just insane. She brought cheesecake as an apology for the messed up kids' meals. But I would have rather not had the cheesecake and just gotten the fruit taken off the ticket. They didn't even eat it, as kids do. The restaurant was nice. It just looked a little run down. Like the floors were extremely dirty, they need a good cleaning. Despite being very busy, we were seated quickly-that was a pleasant surprise. In summary, be prepared to send food back to be cooked properly. And good Lord, make sure you don't accidentally order fruit, it's $5 for 10 small chunks of pineapple.

A poker tournament was going on. We sat at the bar and what I will say is everyone was pleasant and welcoming. We were immediately invited into several conversations happening. I was told many food items on the menu were exceptional; the menu consisted of bar food such as burgers, BLT, steamed shrimp, mozzarella sticks, fries and a few other items I cannot recall. I ordered the steamed shrimp which were extremely bland, could tell they were frozen and overcooked. I have never not enjoyed steamed shrimp but these were the exception they also had a strong bleach smell. My partner ordered the turkey burger and didn't rave about it but also didn't complain about it. Nothing was life changing from what I could see that others were ordering. Seems that this is a place for drinking, camaraderie, and entertainment as there are also pool tables which I believe were free to use. No rush to return but if looking for an inviting place to play pool will return. One thing I did not like is that their are no small tables to sit your drink while playing pool as I was raised that you need to have your eyes on your drink when out in public at all times. Being told to leave my drink at the bar while playing pool did not sit well with me so I didn't drink.

We each ordered the Monkey Smoke (Penicillin), and she ordered a small plate with avocado and lump crabmeat, which we ordered just in time as the kitchen closed between 3 and 4. The standout of the day for me was the old fashioned, made with plum bitters. One of the best old fashioneds I've ever had. The servers were all very friendly and quick. I'm glad we visited on a Sunday because Sunday is all day happy hour. They also have tvs around the bar so it's a great place to watch sports. It wasn't a busy crowd when we went so service went quickly. Our bartender was very friendly and helpful. They have great happy hour food and drink deals. Drafts were $2 off and they have a good variety. Also a person that enjoys sour beers, I was pleasantly surprised that they had a sour on tap because a lot if restaurants I go to rarely have sours available on tap. I wish I remembered the name of the sour but it was so good. Foodwise, we ordered the white pizza (which wasn't so white), truffle fries, and Korean BBQ wings. The pizza was very good. I loved the flavor that the hot honey contributed to the pizza. It was served with a side of marinara sauce but the sauce was very acidic and weird tasting so I didn't use it for dipping. The truffle fries were so delicious and perfectly crispy. I loved that garlic aioli that it was served with. My friend and I agreed that we did not enjoy the wings. We didn't care for the flavor and we expressed that to our bartender and she took it off the bill. Overall, I really enjoyed the experience at Libations. I would love to try more of the menu if I'm in the area again.

I called to place the order, and the guy couldn't hear me. When I called back, there was silence on the line until I said "hello" a few times, followed by a blunt "Yeah, what can I do for you?" slightly off-putting, but I placed the order. When I arrived, the place was empty and looked clean. The food was ready, and I was in and out quickly. As for the food: The Fries: These were excellent. They were hot, well-seasoned, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. I really enjoyed them. The Burger: This was the letdown. I got the Black & Bleu, and while the toppings (bleu cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, brioche bun) were fresh and tasty, the meat itself was lackluster. They looked like two smash patties, but they had zero crust and absolutely no seasoning. No salt, no pepper, nothing. Honestly, if it weren't for the toppings, the burger would have been hard to eat because the meat was just plain and bland. I ate it because I was hungry, but for a "Pub and Ale House," the burger really needs to be seasoned properly. Between the awkward service and the flavorless patties, I can only give it 2 stars.
