Wife would not re-order the Sweet Potato Fries- they were over-cooked and bland. My Fries were good and hot.

The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

At 9:30 PM, a full 30 minutes before the posted closing time of 10:00 PM, the staff began rushing us out while my wife was still eating. When it came time to pay our bill, our bank cards were temporarily unavailable due to a system outage. We had the money. This was not a financial issue. It was a technical one we were actively working to resolve. Instead of being given a moment, security surrounded our table and treated us as though we were attempting to leave without paying. We were not. We never attempted to leave. I want to note that a couple of the security members were actually kind and professional throughout. A manager then approached with immediate hostility white male, tattoos, wearing a white crop shirt, and beige pants) no introduction, and no interest in hearing our explanation. I want to Emphasize That everyone working there refused to give me his name (white male) I even attempted to ask him and he walked away. He made demeaning remarks about our finances and specifically told us that if we didn't pay, he would call the police and trespass us, but if we paid, he would not. We paid. My brother sent $30 via Zelle directly to a security staff member to settle the bill. It was paid in full. He called the police anyway. And trespassed us anyway. I had offered to leave my ID as collateral, leave card information on file, or return the next morning. Every offer was refused before we even got to that point. The responding officers acknowledged his behavior was inappropriate. His own staff was visibly uncomfortable. Unless you are prepared to be treated as a suspect over something completely outside your control, I would think twice before dining here.

Cafe Mong's newer location on Medical Center St is a great addition to the southwest area of Las Vegas, and I honestly like it better than the original location. The interior is one of the cutest cafés in the area. It feels artsy, cozy, and thoughtfully designed without being overwhelming. One thing I really appreciated is that there is no loud music, so you can actually have conversations. This makes it an ideal spot for everything from hanging out with friends or family to casual dates. The service was wonderful. The staff was friendly, patient, and helpful, especially when it came to answering questions about their more unique menu items. The menu has a lot of great options, so it is easy to feel overwhelmed, but they do a great job helping you narrow things down if you need recommendations. I ordered the 24 oz Dubai chocolate matcha latte, and it was better than I expected. With the Dubai chocolate trend becoming so popular, I have tried versions at other places that felt rushed or poorly balanced, but Cafe Mong executes it really well. The matcha latte was not overly sweet, and it had a pleasant pistachio aroma that tied everything together nicely. I also tried the Dubai chocolate crêpe, which is a newer menu item, and it was very impressive. They were generous with the filling and did not hold back. It was delicious and definitely worth trying if you are curious about the Dubai chocolate trend. The taiyakis (boong-uh-bbang) were another highlight. The fillings were not overly sweet and felt well balanced. If you enjoy this kind of treat, Cafe Mong is definitely a go-to spot in the area. i do have a love hate relationship for vestra pro: the staff…read moreis very nice snd offer great and speedy service. this location in the food hall is where i like to study, since they have charging ports and dont close off their seating area even when its late and they are closed. some of their food options are decent and a change from the heavier choices in the food hall. i also loved their single origin matcha and their hojichas. despite my uncertainty though i love their merch and have been eyeing their cups for a while haha. con: i never find their lattes particularly good! after trying three kinds at this location and two at the original (seeing if its a location problem) i feel like they are always a bit watery and subpar in terms of taste. i think they also got rid of the single origin matcha :( the one that they offer now is not as good which makes me soo sad.

Near the West CSN campus. Parking lot can be pretty busy here, not not a headache to find parking…read more This place host a ton of events and small enough to feel quaint and big enough to not fight over any seating. I usually come after school between 1-3pm. Ambiance: Lot's of wood, blue clues big comfy chair to feel like a king or totally vibe out and read a book. They ahve two tables in the hallway, a clouple of seats in the back and this place encourage you to bring your furry pets of dogs and or cats. Service: very friendly and very welcoming. when you order food they dont mind bringing it up to you when it is slow. Food and drinks: i had the everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese. Such a delight. Also a second time drinking a lavender latte which is made to perfection. The cofffee is typing right now as it's exiting my fingers as i type this because that is a GREAT feeling to feel. Haha. My spot to come study or just read a book. I love this enviroment here.

Parking is kind of tricky because I think that shopping center is busy to begin with. Staff is very friendly too. I ordered a seasonal Salted Honey Latte and it was great. I like my coffee on the sweeter side and this coffee hit. I would definitely order it again. This is a great place to study. They have lots of seats inside with outlets nearby and a nice semi-shaded patio. Wi-Fi is listed on their wall by their decorations. I would definitely come back here to study. It's nice knowing they also have outlets since a lot of other coffee shops don't have as many or even some at all. I recommend this place!

This place was empty when we came in at around 7:30p. Lots of parking out front. This place is very clean and a good hangout spot after dinner. My friend and I shared a taro chocolate dessert, which actually tasted so yummy. We are both not big on chocolate and were expecting to not enjoy this dessert as much because of that, but this dessert was extremely light and fluffy. We would order this again! Definitely worth checking out, I would come back again!

The drinks are fairly standard, good but not particularly exceptional. I ordered a taro milk tea at 75% sweetness and it was still a little too sweet for me. The boba pearls on the other hand were not sweetened at all so it didn't have much flavor, but at least they were cooked right. The strawberry cheese dessert was yummy. The texture of the cake was fluffy and cloud like, covered with a strawberry sauce and cheese foam. The cake itself wasn't too sweet and the texture was amazing. I think they forgot to put the fresh strawberries on top though? I would definitely go back for the desserts, or if I'm in the area when the craving hits. I world just order the drink less sweet next time.
