Came here last night for dinner and its was the best italian food i have eaten in a long time. We did not have a reservation but they were able to seat us right away. As soon as we sat down we were greeted by our very ambitious server, Nichole. She was the highlight of our night. She is very knowledeable of the menu and made great recommendations. Very attentive but not overberring. If our water or sodas were low, she was right there refilling our glasses. We took her advice and started with shrimp scampi. She was right simply amazing. My husband ordered the chicken rollatini. To die for. I had their homemade 4 cheese ravioli. You really can taste the freshness. Unlike some other places where eveything is frozen before served. We finished our meal off with a nice slice of tiramisu and coffee. Everything was delicious. We will of course be coming back to try the others that Nichole had metioned. and we will be definently asking for her. We could have listened to her speak all night. very entertaining. when i asked her where she was from her reply was "New Yawk" and that was it she had us laughing all night. Location, Location, Location. These are the 3 "musts" for a restaurant's success and Cafe Murano has cornered the market with it's location. The food is out of this world. All of the bread and sauces are prepared on location! And as good as the food is, the service is even better. We regularly dine here, and we found that Brett, Rebecca and Michael are our 3 favorite servers. All very professional, glib and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the Oysters Rockafellar, superbly constructed by the chef, the flavors were perfectly syncronized! We followed our appetizer with the delectable 9oz filet mignon with the gorgonzola cheese melt, home made whipped potatoes and sweet asparagus. The hollandaise sauce was yummy! Too often I find that hollandaise sauce is too eggy, but at Cafe Murano, it was perfectly balanced. We came on a particularly busy night, and we observed the managers, Trent Warner and Susan Gatch, running food, taking orders, cleaning tables and seating other guests. They truly embody the mindset of teamwork. It was refreshing to see such hard work from the management staff. All in all, Cafe Murano is our new favorite restaurant. read more

I was given $150 gift card card from Trent the manager from a messed up marriage reception on 12 1224. When I tried to use it tonight it was invalid. Trent came up to me and literally called me Karen and told me to get out when he is the one who sent me the gift card. I am not sure why he would say this when he admitted an email in writing his night manager fucked up and gave me the gift card to Help with the fact that everything was screwed up and my guest did not get their food for 45 minutes no decorations or put on the table no drink tickets were given to my guess which were all explained way ahead of time over for visits and Trent continued tonight to treat me like a low class citizen, which I did not deserve this place will never get my business ever again and I'm sorry to the bartender tonight who served us and got absolutely no tip to the fact that Trent was an asshole. read more

Tonight I returned with $150 gift card given by Trent Warner the manager due to a negligent wedding reception on 12 12 24 as nothing was ready for our guests arrival, no heaters prepared, no buffet food for 45 minutes past scheduled time, and rude wait staff. The gift card was sent in order to compensate us for our troubles. Tonight Trent was absolutely awful to me told me the gift card was not acceptable and called me names, told me to get out ...which was absolutely awful for the poor bartender who did not get a tip and it was absolutely ridiculous. The way he treated me in front of other patrons. I will never return to this establishment, and I encourage anyone who considers it to turn away and go somewhere else. The fact that they can't even accept they messed up and cannot rectify the problem is ridiculous. In my opinion, Trent should be fired. read more

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Café Murano, and I can't stop raving about it! From the moment we walked in. Now let me tell you about our waiter, Danny--he was nothing short of amazing! Attentive without being overbearing, he made sure our glasses were always full and our plates were just the way we liked them. It felt like he was genuinely invested in our experience, checking in at just the right moments to see if we needed anything. His recommendations were spot on; he really knows his stuff! The food? Absolutely delicious! Every bite was a taste of Italy that left us wanting more. If you're looking for a place where you can relax, enjoy fantastic food, and have service that makes you feel truly special, I highly recommend Café Murano. You have a great thing going here. Every chain restaurant is in Central Florida to compete with. Good food is one thing and it is really good. Good drinks are another. I especially like the beer flight. But staff that make you feel at home are priceless. The bartenders and servers are very friendly, (no bimbos). The clientele tends to be professional people. This is the best reason to go. One suggestion; there does not seem to be any consistency in scheduling the waitstaff. Sometimes I go on the same day of the week (usually Thursday) and the waiter or bartender that I talked to, the previous week is not there. But otherwise than that, this is a great place, keep up the good work. read more

I had a really great time at this restaurant. I really liked the vibe, the live band was amazing and they played all the great Rock and roll classics. The food was also super delicious. We started with the capris salad and all the ingredients were very fresh. My entree was the shrimp and sausage risotto and it was so flavorful. I'm normally not the biggest fan of goat cheese but it complimented the spicy and smoked risotto so well. The service was also great. Our waiter answered all of our questions and gave us great suggestions and our food came out so quickly. I'll definitely be sure to come back to this location again. read more

I love this place! Great service, friendly people, lots of tv's and most important - great food!! I've never had a bad meal here :) Although I tend to stick to my favorite, the eggplant parmesan, that and everything else I've had has been amazing! They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and with the wide variety of seating options: dining room, patio or bar - it's sure to have something for everyone. Also the prime location they hold right next to the AMC Altamonte Springs theater makes them the "go to" spot before or after a movie date and is definitely worth mentioning! I have to say as a regular there my husband and my self will not be back after what we witnessed last night unless things change, there was a large gathering we were not part of but did see a very unprofessional manager we found out was Trent confront one of the guests about seating, he continued to curse and threaten the guests in the party for no legitimate reason! I would expect this at a Hooters but not this establishment like Murano! Please take careful consideration when hiring for you restaurant! This is no reflection on the food but the food means nothing without a hospitable staff!!!! read more

We are so glad we decided to have our wedding at Cafe Murano. Everything was practically effortless. Our ceremony took place at Cranes Roost, and having a reception at Cafe Murano made it easy for our out-of-town guests to get around. Mary, the events coordinator, did a wonderful job keeping our wishes and concerns at ease. Our guests loved the food. No one went home hungry and Cafe Murano even worked with our guests who had special diet requests. They were flexible and accommodating. Our wedding reception ran nothing but smooth. I've eaten here several times and am always happy with the food. The fresh bread is delicious and everything that I've ordered has been good. The chicken parmesan is tender and huge, the steak sandwich is one of my favorites, they have awesome salads, etc. The service can be hit or miss but the food more than compensates. One night is ladies night and the restaurant turns into a bar/club...I think it's Fridays? And they have a huge porch with enough room to stretch out. read more

One of those places that makes you feel at home, especially if your home is full of condescending RUDE people. Whatever you do don't sit outside unless you want your over price, over salted meal to be ruined by their regular customers, who incase you're curious are generally redneck smoke a pack per meal type of people. With high top square in open area & low top square along the wall, u could accommodate a large group without confusion that u see when being served on round tables pushed together . We threw my coworker the most amazing birthday party! The vibe and atmosphere were just fantastic. The music, food, and service were all top-notch. By far one of my favorite brunch places. Although the menu isn't as extensive as it deserves to be, the food is still up to par. The pizza is amazing, and the drinks are excellent from the bar. I highly recommend. Hint: the outdoor seating is great. Perfect view of cranes roost. read more
