    Mozzarella sticks

This was my first time going to a Chianti's Pizza and Pasta. I went here on a Sunday for lunch. The place was packed and there were only two servers working. It took about 15 min for them to clean up a table for us. It wasn't a long wait so it didn't bother me. Our server was definitely rushed and totally understandable being short staffed. He forgot to give us silverware and napkins. We also didn't get a proper welcome to the restaurant, we seated and right away asked for our drink order. We ordered the garlic knots, mozzarella sticks, chicken alfredo and penne ala vodka. Everything was great except the garlic knots they were okay. Too greasy. The sauce from the penne alla vodka was delicious. The food was great, I can't complain about that. Service however can be improved. For example, our server had his server order pad (the black book) and it was falling apart. Those little details make an impact in the overall presentation of the restaurant. I'm not sure if it is always like that but they need a better system to handle the floor. Both servers were overlapping on things. I thought the guy was our server but then a lady will come over to check on us or bring the food. Besides some hiccups with the service the food was great. Plus they have good lunch deals even on the weekends.

This food here was very good., however, the service was lacking. We specifically ordered the fried calamari before anything else. After we received our drinks, we ordered a Caesar salad and then our entrees: eggplant parmigiana and the special creamy Marsala with veal. The first thing that was brought out was the salad. When the calamari was brought out, we asked the server why it didn't come out. Edited the salad and we were told that it had to be breaded and fried and takes longer than the salad. That is why we ordered the calamari first. We were receiving food before we were finished with the previous corse. It felt rushed. The place was not crowded. We like to have a leisurely dinner. I am not sure that this was the fault of the waiter in how he put the order in or the fault of the kitchen. The food was good though. If we were to go back, we need to make our intentions very clear.

I have visited the Lake Mary location many times so when my dad wanted to stop for lunch on the way home from the doctor's office I thought about other spots I was familiar with when I saw the sign for Chianti's. The layout of the restaurant is larger than Lake Mary and has booths. We started off with an order of delicious Garlic Knots drenched in melted butter, parm cheese, and chunks of garlic. My dad enjoyed an Italian sandwich and fries. I had a huge gluten free pizza with pepperoni, sausage, sweet red pepper, mushrooms, and ricotta cheese. After two slices I was stuffed! Our server was very friendly and helpful. She helped me get the lunch special pizza with a small $3 upcharge for the gluten-free crust. We will definitely be back to try more goodies!

My brother and I and our partners ate here this past Friday night and the food was amazing and the waiter was perfection. He catered to our every need and was personable and pleasant. Really does his job to perfection. We will visit again soon.

Dinner was great, the Lobster Bisque was amazing ! The steak was delicious. The wine was amazing . My daughter got the salmon and broccoli , fresh real broccoli unlike some chains that serve frozen broccoli. The server was busy yet attentive and friendly . We love coming here it's very sentimental. The rest room was clean and that means so much to me speaks volumes . We will be bask we love this . The crowd was decent and the noise level was nice with people enjoying their meals. Plenty of room to park. See them soon.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've had in altamonte/Orlando area. They close early, but 100% worth it. We have a young guy who serves us usually and remembers us and is awesome!!!! He always provides the best service. The food always comes out hot, fresh, and in a good time. The pasta is amazing, the pizza bites are amazing, the cheese sticks, and my favorite part is the complimentary garlic knots! 10/10 in my book. They have a good selection of wines. They have an amazing Lu ch special w a small pizza and drink. The inside and decorations give an old Italy feel. Check them out!!!

This was our 4th choice on a Saturday night looking for a Italian restaurant after our other choices were full and thank God! Absolutely a gem of a restaurant. First and foremost our waiter Victor was an absolute pleasure to have. Friendly and knowledgeable. Food was on another level. Fresh and full of flavor with a new approach on old traditions. The garlic knots were fresh baked to order and full of the right amount of garlic and parmesan and unlimited as we ordered three refills. The appetizers were excellent and came out quickly. The entrées were delicious. Dessert was taken to go because we were stuffed and also was good even if enjoyed back in the hotel. Price for five people was very reasonable. Definitely will come back whenever in the area.

Burned bread with excessive garlic butter. It dripped out of the package into the interior of my car. I also ordered the chicken Parmesan. I was not impressed with my meal. I wish I had followed my mind and went to Fishbone around the corner.

Visited Chianti's for a business lunch and we had a nice time. They weren't busy, so they were able to immediately seat our group of 6. Our waiter was good. He made sure refills were given and checked on us occasionally. The food was pretty good too. For appetizers was got pepperoni pizza rolls, meatballs, and garlic knots. The meatballs were soft and flavorful and the garlic knots were packed with garlic and butter. For my entree, I got the soup and salad (a lunch special). I ordered the Mediterranean Greek salad and the lobster bisque. The salad was a little lack luster for me. It was small considering it was a main part of my meal. It only had a single Olive on top and the dressing was kinda light. It felt more like a side salad, but it was good. Just a little basic. The lobster bisque was the proper portion size, so I was ok with the smaller salad. The bisque had a lovely color and plenty of chunks of lobster meat. I didn't love the texture of the soup though. It was a little gritty. It tasted like there was a rough purée in the soup which gave it an odd texture. The flavor was good and the meat was tender, but it was a bit odd. My coworkers got pastas and pizzas and absolutely loved them. Next time, I think I'll stick with their staple items. The lunch special prices are amazing and I can definitely see coming back.

Located in…read moreAltamonte Springs, the exterior is grand, parking is easy, and when I arrived there were multiple parties happening at once. It immediately felt like a serious date-night spot--also perfect for client dinners, birthdays, or celebratory gatherings. I went with a group of eight, and across the board, the steaks were the undeniable stars of the night. I got to admire a prime rib, filet mignon, and New York strip at the table--and every single one was cooked perfectly. I ordered the special: a 10 oz filet topped with three jumbo shrimp in a lobster cream sauce, served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The filet itself? Perfect medium rare, exactly as requested. Seasoning was balanced and not overly salty (which is something I often run into elsewhere). The steak alone was excellent. The lobster cream sauce, however, was just okay for me. This is subjective, but I felt it leaned a little too creamy and slightly muted the savory depth of the steak. Personally, I would've preferred something brighter like a chimichurri--or if going the lobster route, perhaps a full lobster tail instead of shrimp to really justify the pairing. The shrimp were fine, but they felt like they were competing with what could have been. The asparagus was my only real food gripe--it was small and limp. Properly cooked, thicker asparagus can be vibrant green with a soft crunch. This missed that mark. We started with beef carpaccio and grilled oysters. The oysters were dressed heavily (almost like a potato-skin style topping with bacon and spinach). Not my preferred preparation, but they were ordered for the table, so I joined in. The ambiance was spot on. Lighting was balanced--not too dim, not too bright. The booths were beautiful. Service was excellent: quick to pre-bus, attentive with water refills, helpful with suggestions, and even brushing crumbs from the tablecloth. Very polished. My one logistical complaint: the restrooms. For a fairly large venue, there's only one locked stall per men's and women's room, which caused small lines and even some crossover between guests. That felt like an oversight for a space built for larger parties. One thing I did miss? Complimentary bread. At this price point, that small touch would've elevated the experience. Dessert, however, redeemed everything. The pistachio gelato was the perfect finishing move--authentic, nutty, and not artificially green. Exactly what I needed after a rich, savory meal. I don't usually gravitate toward high price tags, but this experience felt worth it. I chose the special for perceived value, but next time I'd likely order the filet mignon on its own and let the steak shine without the extra embellishments. Overall, Fig's Prime delivers on atmosphere, service, and steak execution. A strong addition to the Altamonte dining scene--and definitely a place for occasions that call for something elevated.

The place itself also has a "market" but it doesn't distract from making you feel like you are still in a quiet restaurant - as much as a pizza place will ever be. True, I had the BITE30 menu on this most recent visit. The Italian Meatballs - 100% Beef hand rolled meatballs served in our from-scratch marinara and topped with house croutons and grated cheese to start were amazing. The Stella - black truffle ricotta, mozzarella. Served with tomato, arugula, and a ariston balsamic dressing, topped with a burrata ball, well, what can I say.
