The Jumbo Slice Lunch Special.
Dylan R.

Staff is friendly , service is efficient and gives you a little look into what the average American would view as Italy. Lunch specials are record breaking deals , and the pizza is too die for. 10/10 , would 100% recommend.

Kids pizza. Crust was delish.

We popped in here for dinner on a random Monday evening after I'd woken up with a craving for fettuccine Alfredo. I'm never going to Olive Garden again after this. The inside isn't huge but there were plenty of tables available. There's also outdoor seating that had a cute ambiance. We chose a table inside and Autumn came over right away to take our drink order. She was absolutely awesome and got my cranky 6 year old smiling. We ordered the kids pizza to split for our daughters, stuffed shells for my husband and Alfredo + chicken for me. The salad and garlic knots that came out first were super delicious. The knots in particular, omg. Soft but crispy edges and the garlic butter Parmesan combo...ugh. The Alfredo was exactly what I'd been craving-- enormous portion and a perfect creamy sauce that didn't become gluey as the meal progressed..like some places... The stuffed shells were pretty good and the pizza was delicious. Great cheese pull and a nice, salty crispy crust. There were a lot of takeout pizza orders while we were there, which is a testament. Even though we were all so full we couldn't say no to tiramisu. It was light and creamy and delicious and oddly took away the heavy, full feeling. Perfect ending to our meal.

Came here on a whim and I'm so glad we did. Service was excellent and they were not busy for a Saturday night which normally would be a red flag but it was just our luck. Got the kids size pizza for my two and the chicken fingers portions were large enough to split both. I ordered the eggplant stacks and I love eggplant but normally eggplant parm disappoints but not here. Even my eggplant hating hubby liked them and my kids too. It came with salad and garlic knots the size of my whole fist. Huge fluffy and generously covered in Parmesan and garlic. It also came with pasta I asked for ziti and they were nice enough to bake the cheese into it. We ordered the xl pie for adults half regular with extra cheese and half steak with Alfredo sauce called bistecca and they didn't fret about mixing red and white sauce or anything. The bistecca was solid and delicious and generously topped and made me so happy. They also have lots of wine to choose from and real Italian beer. Honestly feel like this is a hidden gem.

First time visiting and I have to say--this is hands down the best Italian spot in Longwood! I moved here from New York and honestly, I usually find Florida food a little bland, but Cafe Paisano completely hit the spot. The owner, Michael, personally came out to talk with us, and all we could do was compliment him on the amazing job he's doing. Our server Ava, who is also his daughter, gave us absolutely wonderful service. She was so attentive that I couldn't resist leaving her a true New York-style tip. The food was outstanding. If you go, definitely start with the bruschetta as an appetizer. The jumbo pizza is to die for, and the calzone was just as delicious. I left very happy and can't wait to come back with my kids. Longwood really has a gem here--Cafe Paisano is the real deal!

Cheesy garlic knots. Yum!

Hubby and I were online looking to find some place to have a late dinner and found this little gem. We were greeted right away and said to sit where would like to. The inside is beautifully decorated and clean. It was about 8pm on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. Our server was a very sweet and very attentive young lady named Eva. She sold us on getting the cheesy bread and also twisted my husband's arm to try the chocolate cake. All our food was hot and very good. We could not eat it all so we had leftovers for lunch the next day. We will for sure be back. I have a feel I will be ordering food to pickup for lunch this week.

Grilled chicken Alfredo roll!

We have lived in Longwood for nine years now and never had been here so tonight was our first time. They blew us out of the water. The restaurant itself is super quaint and adorable with a very cute outdoor seating area. They have frank sinatra playing quietly inside with just enough tables inside to not be too crowded or loud. Ava was an attentive and friendly waitress who made sure we had all our needs met. She really was amazing and we will be asking for her when we come back because we are coming back for sure. The food was deliciously amazing and came out in a timely manner piping hot. The grilled chicken Alfredo roll was to die for. Chicken Marsala had so much flavor and so much chicken. Portion sizes are huge definitely have enough for leftovers. For our first time they definitely made repeat customers out of us. Can't wait to go back!

A sweet little local Italian cafe. The atmosphere was quaint and clean with a fresh rose & oil votive candle. Garlic knots were fresh and fluffy, perfect for dipping in the rich sherry sauce of the Chicken Paisano'. The entree was family sized! Definitely enough to share especially when paired with a house salad or soup and garlic knots. Tiramisu was gorgeous and decadent fresh made from a local neighborhood bakery. Service was pleasant and efficient. I'll definitely be back!

3/5 - Came in for a pizza review with some coworkers from the hospital. We got a large Sicilian pie with half mushroom and half pepperoni. It came in at about $28. The pizza wasn't bad but wasn't great either. The slices were big which gave this a higher rating, but it was rather flavorless. I have heard good things about their other food so perhaps try that instead of the pizza! They did give a good layer of toppings, but it all separated once slightly cool. Probably didn't help that the toppings were underneath everything else too. TikTok Reviewer: acaicaitlin

Plenty of each ingredient and dressing! The Chilean sea bass was a great choice to split bc there was plenty for both of us. It is a 6 ounce filet and the sides were mashed potatoes and asparagus. Very old-world-Italian-esque. We got seated in a nice corner and got started. I started off with an order of Bruschetta (Toasted bread topped with marinated tomatoes, garlic, basil & a sprinkle of shredded Parmesan) for the table. These were the best I've ever had. Nice, thicc chunks of toast that were actual toast and not just crackers. Also, the pieces of tomato were multicolored and very well coated with that garlic, basil, and Parm. Seriously, the best I've had. Very good stuff. For my main, I had the Veal and Shrimp Parmesan (A classic surf and turf: Breaded shrimp & veal, lightly fried, topped with marinara and baked with melted mozzarella). Wow. This thing was a spectacle. The veal and shrimps were very well pounded thin and very nicely coated with a seasoned breadcrumb mixture. Fried crispy, tasty marinara, tasty melted mozz. Just another great dish. Overall, if you specialize in national chain Italian places, definitely step outside of your comfort zone and come to mom 'n' pop places like this. The quality different is astounding. I loved it here. I'd come back.

When we arrived, we walked into the restaurant, and noticed that the noise level inside was really overwhelming, so we asked to sit outside. It was more quiet. It was raining that day so we appreciated the canopies. We thought that was a nice touch. However, when it came time to order, I had a hard time understanding the specials because the waitress had a very heavy accent. We couldn't understand a word she said so we just ordered from the menu. I ordered the pasta with eggplant and specifically asked the waitress for the pasta to be soft and not al dente. The waitress said that they make it so soft, the pasta actually breaks, and it's not a problem. unfortunately, it didn't turn out as I expected. When my pasta dish arrived, it was pretty al dente to me and also very salty. I just couldn't enjoy my meal and was so disappointed. I was hopping that our server would come over at some point to ask how everything was but she never did. We tried to get her attention, but it took a while. By the time she was available, my partner had already finished his dinner. When I was able to speak with her about my dish, she apologized and said it was the cooks who didn't pay attention to her request. At that point, I decided to take my meal 'to go' since I didn't want to stay there any longer after my partner had finished eating. After a bit of a wait for my order to be redone, it was brought over in a plastic container instead of aluminum. As by now, when very hot food comes into contact with plastic, it releases chemicals into the food. They should really consider aluminum containers. When I got home and tried the pasta, it was still hard and not cooked to the softness I had requested. Unfortunately, I had to throw it away. I really wanted to enjoy my meal, but I was totally disappointed from this experience. I will not be returning. They can't seem to take simple instructions of soft pasta! And the atmosphere was very loud too busy and too much in a hurry.

Parking is plentiful as it is part of a longer shopping strip, so you shouldn't have issues there. They do have a bit of a stair way that leads up to the front door, which is a bit of a challenge for my elder mom, but not the end of the world (she enjoys coming here) - just something to note for those with mobility challenges. It isn't usually too busy, but you can make advance reservations if you plan to have a larger party, or need a very specific time / date for your meal.
