Was that even worth it with how bad inflation is these days Not sure how they have such high ratings, but just be warned. You're welcome!

Good coffee flavor with hint of creaminess of milk and maple syrup sweetness. It was a lovely drink. They also sell some coffee beans and blend as well. We were able to but they offer tours and some classes as well if you are interested in coffee and its fabrication and roasting process. Service was good and quick. Bunch of younger people were working and seems like some were being trained. Overall it's a solid coffee shop. It's on the pricier side but they are good coffee and seem to be knowledgeable.

Outside seating gets packed and tables are super close so it is probably better to just grab and go somewhere else. Inside is nice with a good selection of baked items. I guess I missed the prices because my total for 2 drinks was around $10. Pretty expensive when one of this is just drip coffee. I get it's Stowe pricing but still it seems a lot for what I got. Also, I'm not sure why they allow people to pour creamer/milk themselves. I saw a guy take a creamer and pour it with direct contact into his reusable bottle. Gross! read more

We did like this place yesterday. Delicious breakfast sandwiches. Courteous staff. However, this morning, my Son ordered his same breakfast sandwich on GF bread and got half a sandwich. I asked why there's only half a sandwich, and they said they just started doing half sandwiches 'today', but there was the same amount of 'stuff' on it. Sooo, not sure if it's a GF thing, a management thing, but definitely NOT going back to pay full price for half a sandwich. Very disappointing. read more

It's a nice convenient place to get coffee, but it's not the best coffee around and the wait is unbearable. We order an americano and breakfast sandwich and it took 20 minutes to get it. There were people that ordered after us and got their food sooner, and their orders were larger, I assume the forgot about us. read more

The staff are always so polite and friendly. The breakfast sandwiches are always so delicious. Many options for vegetarians, or you can have the most delicious bacon you'll ever eat on a sandwich. The baked goods aren't extravagant in terms of uniqueness, but they hit the basics exceptionally well. Blueberry muffins are always moist, and the morning roll with the sugar and butter is so light and fluffy. I like that they also offer savory options in their herb scones. I find their menu prices to be quite reasonable. Most baked goods are around $3, with some less. Breakfast sandwiches start at $4 and the $6 ones are well worth it. In all fairness, I've never been nearby for lunch so I can't comment on that. But WCS is delicious, friendly and affordable. I was concerned for them when a competitor opened nearby, but they've weathered it and I know that I'll always choose WCS for a simple breakfast or pastry treats for the office.

The breakfast burrito was also badly wrapped and leaking everywhere and had for some god awful reason been filled with hard boiled eggs instead of scrambled eggs which only made it harder to handle.

Then discovered the loaves stocked daily fresh bread at Stowe Living and at The Commodities Natural Market. More recently we went to Hyde Park location to try their lunch sandwiches. The Turkey Bacon Avocado with cheddar cheese and pickled red onions is fresh, tasty, easy to eat - a favorite. Panuozzo is an interesting creation using sourdough pizza to wrap around fresh burrata, roasted garlic cloves, roasted red peppers and pesto - the burrata is super fresh and rich type of mozzarella but sandwich is very messy (both hands and face) and we reeked of garlic afterwards. Seriously, the garlic taste and odor built up and literally lingered for 24h - so make sure to share this with your loved ones so all of you are in the garlic group. We would order the Panuozzo again but probably leave off the garlic. Bahn Mi is an interpretation of a classic Vietnamese Bahn Mi - it is tasty but contained no cucumbers, less cilantro and pickled carrots/daikon plus the gravy made the bread soggy. It is still good and we would order again but ask for the gravy on the side as a dipping sauce. All 3 sandwiches were winners and we loved our food adventure. We were missing pickles from 2 of our 3 sandwiches but the 1 pickle we had was good. The sandwiches were hearty so we didn't eat the fries. We will be back and can't wait to try Reuben, cheese steak, fried chicken as well as dinner!
