What a crazy experience. We go to Buffalo Wild Wings in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware regularly -- honestly, probably weekly -- so we're very familiar with BWW and what a typical experience should be. This Fort Walton Beach location was... something else. We walked in on a very busy Saturday night and there were two hostesses at the front. I wasn't greeted, but I asked if there were seats at the bar. I was told yes, so we walked all the way to the back of the restaurant only to find zero seats at the bar. We walked back to the front and eventually the hostess was able to hear us over the noise and promptly seated us at a table. And the noise was something I've never experienced at a restaurant. While walking back to the front, we heard someone screaming, yelling and clapping. It turned out to be a group of employees approaching a guest's table for a birthday celebration. One server was leading the "celebration" while several others clapped and yelled. It was incredibly loud and, honestly, didn't feel joyful or fun. It was more startling and obnoxious than celebratory. The hostess herself was wincing at the noise, and we certainly weren't the only guests who looked uncomfortable. Our server was nice enough, but the service was very scattered. She brought our drinks but forgot one. When our food arrived, we asked for the missing drink again. About 20 minutes later, when the food came out, she asked if we wanted to move to a booth. We agreed because it would give us more room. Unfortunately, the booth had its own issues. Our hair was literally blowing around, food wrappers were blowing, napkins were blowing, and it was cold and windy sitting there. We stayed because at least we had more space. She also didn't bring silverware, so I couldn't even eat my cauliflower until I finally asked for utensils. Then came another unexpected experience: while we were waiting for our food, two small boys came running down the aisle with a cardboard box filled with random bags of candy and chips, selling them to tables and servers. This wasn't a school fundraiser or anything that was explained to us. It appeared that someone had purchased snacks somewhere and brought them into the restaurant to sell. I saw Funyuns and Sour Patch Kids. At one table, one child walked around with the box while another stood back shaking a box of candy like a musical instrument. It was just... bizarre. And then, before we even finished eating, another birthday celebration started at the table next to us. Here comes the screaming again. I literally plugged my ears. The person leading the birthday song noticed me, stopped for a second and laughed, then continued. I understand that birthdays are supposed to be fun, but there has to be a happy medium. This was so loud that it was genuinely uncomfortable. By the end, we asked for a box, the check and a bottle of hot sauce. Our server had to come back three or four times because something had been forgotten each time. She forgot to get our phone number once, forgot the box the next time, and we eventually just decided it was time to leave. To be fair, it was a packed Saturday night, and I understand that restaurants get busy. But this wasn't simply a case of slow service. It was the combination of the incorrect seating information, extremely loud birthday performances, cold/windy seating, missing silverware and drinks, repeated forgotten requests, and the unexpected candy sales happening throughout the dining room. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience continued to be disappointing. At the end of the meal, we weren't given an itemized check, so we had no way of knowing exactly what we were charged for. That's especially frustrating when the experience itself was already less than great. And I completely forgot until afterward that one of our chicken wing meals was supposed to come with 10 pieces and only had 9. Obviously, one missing wing isn't enough for us to complain about, but it certainly wasn't a great detail to add to an already disappointing experience. We kept looking at each other thinking, What is happening here? We love BWW and have plenty of great experiences at our usual location. This Fort Walton Beach visit was just wow. Definitely an experience we won't forget -- although probably not for the reasons the restaurant intended. read more

i ordered to-go so i can really comment on the service for dining in but the staff at the to-go counter was kind and professional. i ordered during their bogo deals. we got the 10pc boneless wings and they were excellent! i got dessert heat and it was perfect. crispy yet juicy on the inside. i had a 40ish minute commute due to traffic but the food was still good. we'd recommend this bdubs location to anyone visiting! read more

Midweek lunch visit and it was a good experience. To start we were immediately seated and our server was beyond efficient. Our food order came out very expeditiously and she remained attentive for the entire dining experience. Taste was consistent to pub fare and the star of the meal was the onion rings. They were cooked to crispy perfection and did not slide out of the batter as others sometimes do. The whole msg were tasty and flavorful. Oof what has happened to this place. I waited 10 minutes for a greeter to even greet me, then 10 for server to show up (she was really kind), ordered apps and drinks and apps and drinks came quickly, but no one came back for my order for over half an hour, then the server so awesomely switched us to unlimited apps which didn't show up for another hour and my meal didn't show up till all meals were cold or warm at best. Plus the floor looked like a confetti bomb went off, tables sat dirty and the bathrooms were appalling. My wings were awful, they gave me more than ten to show me more than ten ways to be sad over food. My tots arrived 10 minutes after my wings and generally nothing EXCEPT the kindness of our server was worth talking about. This was truly a bad experience OUTSIDE my server. read more

I didn't receive my complete online order and didn't realize it until I got home. When I called, I was told my food was still at the restaurant and that they watched me walk out after handing me what I believed was the last bag. A simple heads-up would have prevented an extra trip. Please do a better job making sure customers leave with their complete orders. read more

The waiter dose not seem to want to serve us.. we also asked a size difference between large and regular fries and they said there is no difference in the plate size one just had more than the other. We have five people at a 4 people booth so we have an extra chair at the end they come and say im going to take this from you if you don't mind and took it after saying we had someone sitting there. Then took 45 minutes after asking for the check to be brought.This place is usually pretty good. Not this time though. So we love BWW in Atlanta, and we ordered the same things that we normally do. I ordered a split 10 piece wings, 5 with Smoking sauce extra crispy and 5 hot with lemon pepper extra crispy. When I say they were mostly inedible I mean they drenched my wings with sauce, they were not extra crispy, and sadly almost cold (we ordered and waited in store for our to go order) The staff was very and the store seemed very well put together. So... came to watch the ufc fight and noticed a large red purse " saving" a table. While a group finally came to the " claimed table" a group of coast guards who just got off work came to watch the fight. Turns out the red purse group are all employees.. and they kicked the group of guys out saying their is no table for them( they are operating on a 50% captivity because of COVID. So the employees can sit and watch a fight and turned away paying customers. Not cool . I tried to place an order over the phone and was told to hold. Before I could say "Okay" I was listening to the hold music. I figured they were busy and maybe it was an accident so I waited for a few seconds listening to the hold music. Less than 30 seconds later the phone was picked up and then the call was terminated from their end. Again, thinking they must be busy, I called back and said that I believe I must have been accidentally disconnected. The lady on the other end told me she was dealing with a big order and that she couldn't take my order, asking me to hold. I have literally tried this place three times. I left a review before about the staff but now I'm here about the food. The pictures are the hatch queso ( pico de gallo and queso) and the wings (boneless). As you can see the queso is basic asf, and that was 8$. The wings barely have any sauce and I can tell it's probably frozen wings just rolled in sauce, so bland, could barely taste the sauce. At times the food can be slow to come out. 5/10/19 Update well we stopped coming here a while back and decided we would eat here since we haven't been in a while. It was rather disappointing. They brought back the wing flavor jammin jalapeño which we loved before but they changed the recipe which wasn't as good as it was. Our server was spaced out or something. Our appetizer took forever to come out (chips and dip). While we were waiting on the appetizer the server came and got our food order. We hesitated to put it in bc we didn't want to get the wings right after getting the chips. None the less after waiting for the chips the wings came 10 min after... no big deal. The wings didn't come out as we ordered again not a big deal. As we were eating the wings the server asked my wife is she would like more water and she replied yes. Buffalos Reef I have been ordering take out for years, I haven't eaten there in a year and it was horrible... worst of all was the owner: manager.The wings were so dry I could barely chew and just looking at them they looked very dry. I ask our kind waitress if I could get a fresh order and explained that they were dry so she took them back to the kitchen .
