The happiest, most perfect breakfast I had in Santa Fe. Service was incredibly friendly, especially one of the staff whose name I didn't get, but her energy was so sweet and she was just giving 110% of herself to everyone around her. Our server was also so friendly and helpful. Got the chorizo burrito Xmas style and a Mexican hot chocolate and shared the cornmeal pancakes with my family. Everything was delicious. The only thing I can say is you need to be patient because the restaurant is so crowded - for good reason - and even with a reservation we waited half an hour for a table (but luckily ended up with the best table in the place). Got myself an apron with the Guadalupe on it which I plan to use all the time. Definitely will be back next time I'm in town.

I love this place! This is only our second time. The first time was a few years ago and we had brunch. I remember being pleased with our experience so today when looking for somewhere to eat on Valentine's Day I lucked out and found a 5:30pm reservation as someone had cancelled! Woo hoo!!! The restaurant opens at 5:30pm so there was a line at the door and we all got seated quickly. I had a glass of Gruet Rose and my husband had a beer. I ordered the conchinita pibil and was not disappointed!! I made 2 little tacos with my corn tortillas, pork, veggies, crème fresh and habanero pickled red onions! So so good and I had leftovers! My husband got the special au poivre ribeye and ate every bite! For dessert I had the Meyer lemon cheesecake with coconut crust and my husband had the layered honey cake. Both were wonderful! I also had a cup of hot peppermint tea! We had a lovely waitress and the ambiance is eclectic and cozy as it's small and lovely. All the staff are so kind. This is a place I will always return to! Come check it out when you have time! Make a reservation!

We were excited to try, but everything was underwhelming. Mole was ok, burrito was boring. The pancakes were bland. There was really nothing special, which was disappointing. Very expensive for uninspired food.

A classic downtown Santa Fe breakfast spot. It's a great place to start a day if you want to walk around downtown. The decor is iconic, they take reservations, and you can close the check via mobile too. The food is good, but it IS very expensive.

Adding more photos to my review.... Didn't realize all the descriptions were there without the dishes! So sorry about that! Oh, and here's the dessert menu that we couldn't enjoy (being stuffed like the chile relleno)!

Every bite was amazing. Service was quick and servers were kind. Small location so be prepared to wait if arriving after 9am.

This is an eclectic and interesting space with a very fun and energetic vibe. It is small, so you definitely need a reservation. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The Mia's Silver Coin Margarita was delightful. Not too sweet. I think that the cocktail menu there is a bit different than what I saw online. I'd give a 4.5 if I could. Overall it was a great spot, I think I just ordered poorly and things weren't exactly what I expected. I just wasn't in the mood for most of the menu choices. We shared the Wild Shrimp Cocktail Mexican Style, Grilled Nopales Cactus Salad, and the Mole Enchiladas with chicken. The ingredients were all very fresh. The shrimp was nice, but it comes in a glass and has a lot of tomato juice and it is more of a salsa with some shrimp, avocado, and veggies. It was just a little too acidic for my taste. The nopales cactus salad was really interesting and pretty tasty. The chicken in the enchiladas was flavorful, juicy, and tender. The mole sauce was okay. It was fairly bitter and overall I found the enchiladas a little bland. The corn torte and orange & Jicama Salad that came with it were tasty. Worth giving this place a try if you're in Santa Fe!

Outstanding! The host squeezed me in I was able to be seated at the communal table nice to sit with others n chat if ur social. Met other diners from every area of America and my neighbor was town over by my home. Food was delightful got a mocktail to start was delicious n looked like an alcoholic drink despite a lemon mocktail. Pear salad to start , fish entree with bok choy and cheesecake to end with. I was so full it was nice to walk back nearby to my hotel. So yummy also service was impeccable

If I could get back on a plane every morning just to go here, I would. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. While small, the bathrooms were incredibly nice. They were in this tiny hallway but the bathrooms were so well done. I started with the pineapple ginger juice and ordered the hashbrowns, turkey bacon, and scrambled eggs. They make their own gluten free toast! Man. Everything was amazing.

Fantastic! Worth the wait! We went for lunch the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It's a small place that doesn't take reservations for lunch. We waited and it was well worth it. Everything is fresh and inventive. The staff is super friendly. It's a quaint dining experience in Old Town Santa Fe. It's a must.

Had a seat at the share table, and that was a treat in itself meeting new faces and hearing their stories. Honestly, I forgot what I ate as I was more engrossed with the spontaneous conversations. All I remember was that it was hearty, yet refreshing.

Semifreddo. A standout dessert in a food town.

There's a reason this place is an institution. Solid New Mexican flare with some unique takes. The BLT of course had green chile but the bread was a corn bread grilled to perfection. Paloma's were excellent and the dessert was a standout in a trip full of good food.

Came here based on several recommendations, on my only night off during a work trip, and it was unique and memorable experience. Quaint, cozy and bright, Cafe Pasqual's is conveniently located a stone's throw away from the plaza. I was able to make a reservation for 1 on a weekday and scored a seat at the community table with 8 other diners, with whom I made polite conversation. When I arrived at opening, there was already a line around the corner, but all were seated promptly. Although I made a reservation, others at my table informed me they were able to walk in. Eager to try local cuisine, I ordered the Plato Supremo with chile relleno and a chicken mole enchilada, and the restaurant kindly let me substitute the steak skewers with the Oaxacan Tamales. I enjoyed every bite and hoped to savor it as long as possible, especially the chile relleno which was rich from the cheese and covered in a delectable savory peppery tomato sauce. This is a meal I won't soon forget.

However, I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted super warmly and was educated on their menu as the host led me to my table (this place is sprawling and has inside and outside tables). My server greeted me immediately and was so helpful in her recommendations. She was truly interested in giving me the best experience as opposed to running the bill up for a bigger tip. Fresh out of the museum of New Mexico, I had learned adovada is a native dish, so I went with the carne adovada plate. Made with slow roasted lean pork, marinated in red Chile, garlic, and oregano. Served with cheese blue corn, red Chile, and onion. With a. side of pinto beans. It was spicy. Not HOT, but not "white people" spicy. It was warm and filling. Delicious. As far as margaritas, all I had were great. I had one of their premium 24 dollar margs, but it wasn't any better than the 12 dollar one recommended by the server. They also offer huevos rancheros, various enchiladas, tamales, burritos, tacos. For those wishing to go a little more americanized (but then why would you come here), they have a buffalo burger, grilled chicken sandwich, and regular burgers. Don't let the crowd deter you. I was seated immediately mid day on a Friday. It's right on the plaza so you can stop off here during your shopping and exploring.

For years, their samosas were some of the best: perfectly seasoned potato filling in a lightly friend pocket alongside some date chutney sauce. On their updated menu, samosas were listed as 25%, so I went for 2 thinking the portions were as they had been for the last 15 years. Sadly, this was not so. They were more like tiny hot pockets, baked pizza dough, with a rather bland, flavorless filling. Alongside a #3 cup of veggie of the day and $16 later, I realized my journey with Annapurna had come to an end, and I would not be returning. Also, I noticed the oat milk being added to the $7 oat chai was Kirkland brand, which consists of: (filtered water, organic rolled oat flour), organic sunflower oil, calcium carbonate, organic natural flavors, sunflower lecithin, sea salt, vitamin A palmitate, ergocalciferol (vitamin D2), riboflavin (vitamin B2), and cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) . Some listings also describe it as fortified and organic, with no added sugar noted in one review source. My husband loved the pork dishes he tried, including the pork belly and the pork with your choice of mole. I agree that they did a nice job with the pork. The Azteca (yellow fin tuna crudite) was tasty, but a bit saucy and a little too salty. The Soup de Amor is a must get! And if you are a fan of tequila, they do flights with sangrita. As far as I understand this is a restaurant that serves food and alcohol and not a bar. Shortly after my arrival, there was a large tour with 12 people showed up. I could see that the waiter was a bit flustered because he also had to tend to other customer as well as the tour. I guess this is where the tour take people for authentic taco experience. In my opinion these are more toned down gringo tacos. My taco didn't come with a side of sauce like everyone else. I also noticed that the tour all received a side of salsa which I didn't. I'm not sure if the waiter forgot. I had to flag down the waiter a few time because he also forgot my drink.
