Accidentally came across this cozy restaurant as I left the sunken meadow park. We went for a late lunch with another couple and the food was soo fresh and tasty. We enjoyed all of the dishes we ordered, the fish tacos were delicious and my avocado toast very satisfying. You can taste the fresh ingredients and the service was wonderful. Very attentive staff and would refill my water constantly. The restaurant was nicely decorated with red accents and clean. I would Highly recommend this restaurant and if I'm in the neighborhood I would definitely visit again.

A very cute cafe in Kings Park with great drinks and even better food. They have an amazing happy hour with $10 apps with lots of options from different flavored mussels, caprese salad, meatballs, and zucchini fries to name a few. Drinks are also on happy hour til 6. The space is small and seating is limited so best to call for a reservation if it's around dinner time. They always have different specials on the board and the staff are so friendly. If you don't want to sit, this is a great place to take your food to go!

Love this place. The drinks were delicious as usual. I love the Jimi Hendrix experience. The calamari was perfect and the sea bass was delicious. My wife loved the Pumpkin Ravioli and the coconut Tiaramassue was awesome.

Came today with two friends. Never knew they served breakfast---and it was wonderful. Attentive service. Delicious food. Far better than either Relish or Diner Dash. Will return

Stopped by this charming cafe yesterday for lunch & my sister & I were greeted with a friendly smile & shown to a table. The decor highlighted RED & was beautifully done. We each had a salad & our waitress was friendly as was the person who was shadowing her. The restaurant is on the smaller side but that is a cafe. They offer brunch, lunch & dinner & we thought the menu was extensive & reasonably priced. We each had a salad-I opted for Insalata Terra with added piece of grilled chicken. Absolutely delicious!! The salad had almonds, pear, goat cheese & prosciutto over a bed of arugula. I asked for it chopped & it was done beautifully..the chicken was warm on top of the salad & so moist. We opted not to have dessert but we will be sure to come back to this most charming cafe

We fancied a bite to eat here after fabulous reviews from their other location in Hauppague. They have a breakfast menu all day and a magnificent bottomless drink menu #worthit. I have went on a weekday mid morning during spring break not so busy. It did take a relatively long time for our order to come out. Even the drinks the waitress apologized saying they had to get more tequila for the margarita and just gave us one Bellini my friend ordered in the meantime. My friend ate the eggs Benedict (no complaints) amd hash browns that looks and smelled fabulous. I had the challah French toast with sugar and side of bacon. French toast you could easily split between two people. It was delicious. The side of bacon was extra crispy and consisted of about 3 strips. We also dabbled in a cheesecake dessert that was mouthwatering with a chocolate drizzle and some whip cream. I had a cappuccino as well not so much the best but it was smoldering hot. Did the job.

The place was freezing with the AC on full blast and right above us, another table that sat a few tables away was also complaining about how cold it was. We ordered the kids Mac and cheese and chicken fingers with fries. Unfortunately they brought out a burger instead of my daughter's chicken fingers along with my other child's Mac and cheese and we told them it was wrong. My poor child was starving while everyone else's food came out already and she had to wait for hers but luckily we had some fries for her from our dish to share. I got a French onion soup and you can see it was a bit burnt on top. The soup was too salty and I couldn't take more than 3 sips. My husband enjoyed his chicken sandwich and I liked my cobb salad. My youngest enjoyed her Mac and cheese.

The view from the patio was lovely, and the food was decent, but it is on the pricier side. I do wish the portion size for the appetizers we got was larger, but at least the complimentary bread is so nice and warm and you can ask for more. We ordered the Hearts of Palm Salad and Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail as appetizers and both were delicious. I also got the Saru sushi roll which was okay; I liked that it came with seaweed salad which was a nice surprise, but the roll was cut into huge pieces and had too much rice. I will note there's valet parking available and there's a steep descent. It's on a decently busy road so it can be a bit tough to turn out of the restaurant when you leave.

Food came very slow is the main complaint. But we got the lunch special $35 pre fixe so worth it, the Caesar salad was delicious and so was the clam chowder. Spicy wontons were very innovative similar to the rare steak tartare presentation but with a chip at the bottom. The entree mussels were absolutely delicious, just wish the mussels were bigger in size and more quantity. The beef bolognese was huge portion. Steak sandwich seemed a bit dry and overcooked. The cowboy ribeye was a bit over charred on the corners so bit burnt but the inside was quite flavorful. Mashed potatoes were creamy too. Dessert crème brûlée was delicious $15 with crispy top. Between the warm, cozy atmosphere and a live band playing, it felt festive without being chaotic. It's exactly what you want during the holidays. We went full "let's share everything" mode, starting with the Wood-Fired Artichoke-Spinach Dip Pizzetta, and wow. Spinach, artichokes, béchamel, shaved parm, mozzarella, garlic dressing, and baby arugula all working together in perfect harmony. Easy 10/10. I'm still thinking about it and already planning my next visit just to order it again. Next up was the crab rangoon dip, which was rich, indulgent, and dangerously good. Followed by the beer cheese jumbo pretzel. They wee soft, salty, and exactly what you want alongside drinks. Zero regrets. We wrapped things up with the Kung Pao Cauliflower Bites, and they were such a pleasant surprise. The tempura cauliflower stayed crispy, the General Tso's-style sauce had just the right balance of sweet and heat, and the cashews, sesame seeds, and scallions added great texture. Drink-wise, we shared a bottle of wine from their solid selection, but I also have to shout out their massive cocktail menu, so many options that I'll definitely be back to explore it properly next time. The cherry on top? We made our reservation on Yelp . Between the food, drinks, live music, and overall atmosphere, Husk and Vine was a total win for a night out. Can't wait to return!

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

We ordered: - Spring Salad (5/5) this tasted so good with the fresh mango, the snap peas, and the carrot ginger dressing. - Faroe Islands Salmon (5/5) I only tasted the rice, and not the salmon itself, but the rice was so good, and I just kept on stealing more from the plate. - Roasted-Half Chicken (4/5) This was my own entrée, and I loved how the chicken was crispy, and I also really liked the garlic mashed potatoes, but the only thing that I did not think worked well with the dish was the swiss chard. Looking for a burger, I picked the Zen burger which was not listed as having walnuts. I even called the restaurant to confirm this burger was nut free. When I bit into this burger, within 30 seconds, I realized something was wrong when my lips started swelling up and my throat started to close in. My husband called the restaurant back and again asked if the zen burger had walnuts. I was assured that it did not. When I said, please go ask the kitchen, the person on the phone did and confirmed, "oh, it does have a little bit of walnuts in it". I don't think that the people working here understood the severity of this and they offered a refund of the meal that we threw away. Wow, how generous! I spoke to the manager and she just said sorry and that the owner would contact us. We wound up having to go to the hospital over this, after just leaving with our newborn. What a day. It's been a week and my husband has stopped by the talk to the owner but she hasn't been there and has not called, emailed, or done anything since. I don't care if she is busy, it honestly doesn't matter, this is important and I needed some reassurance that this would never happen again to anyone since someone else could have died from this but that never happened. I guess she is just too busy to care. Unfortunately, this is a local business that I used to love but I will never come back and would advise anyone with a food allergy to go somewhere else. The next day they did update the menu and the zen burger now does say "contains walnuts" but it's not reassuring that this will never happen again.
