Ate at Cafe Regis while in town for a hike. It's a nice little place.. it's more cafe than grocery. They do have some food items for sale but it's not extensive. Their food is very good though. I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and a side of bacon. Everything was good. Portion wise I'd say it was just right. I'd eat there again. Their coffee was very very good. read more

Vegan and vegetarian friendly - stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the menu and organic/health foods stocked in the grocery section. The bbq tofu sandwich was yummy! Load up here as veggie food and snacks are a scarcity on the road from here to Yellowstone. read more

This place was great. I really like their model - locally-sourced food, including some grown right on the property. Usually any restaurant that does this charges a premium, but Cafe Regis doesn't. We ate breakfast here twice over a three-night stay in Red Lodge. It would have been three, but we had fruit and trail mix one morning before a hike. Went in, sat down, and waited for awhile with no acknowledgement at all by two different waitresses. They instead cleared a table by us and ignored us. After 10 minutes we walked out. This place gets great reviews but the service sucks. We have eaten there on other trips but never had good service, and always have a long wait for food. At least they can acknowledge a customer by saying they will be with us shortly. No need to patronize this place, I will go elsewhere. read more

Charming location, good food & lovely tea. A surly, unsmiling brunette at the register answered two separate inquiries, "I have no idea." A kind older gentleman with a mustache overheard and was very kind in helping me out with my order. Why do great places retain staff that ruin their business' atmosphere? In Red Lodge for the weekend and saw this quaint little cafe on Yelp scoring some sweet reviews. Seemed like a good place to kick start the day with some grub. You seat yourself in the rather small dining area. They have coolers and shelves stocked with your typical health remedies (didn't check them out). After seating ourselves it took a minute but the very friendly staff came over with coffee and menus. I got the biscuits and gravy and the wife got the pesto omelette food was up in 15-20 minutes (kind of long for breakfast, but no big deal). Food was quite good, both of us enjoyed our meals. I go here every time I'm in RL (and preferably more than once). The food is beyond amazing. I've never met a person working there that I didn't like, and they are always very knowledgeable about what's going on in the area. They also have a great selection of organic goods, should you need to stock up in the sticks. This place rools. read more

The faux eggs Benedict is not very tasty. The eggs are fried, the muffin was tough and the sauce was something that was a cross between canned mushroom soup and dog upchuck thrown together in a mess on a cracked plate. This place is awesome every worker is working hard and all of them are smiles! It makes free good and happy when workers are working hard and happy. Heard about this cafe from a local and spent the next two mornings there, wish a third was in our vacation itinerary. Friendly staff and the food is unreal, the banana french toast was a huge hit. The perfect place for meat eaters and vegetarians. The menu price is more than reasonable for the amount of food and the fresh ingredients. read more
