    Donuts

Stopped in daily for my cold brew coffee while I was staying at Coronado Springs. Just one of the food stops at the resort. They have coffee and pastries in the morning and gelato and grab n go options in the afternoon. The donuts are no joke as big as my face. I didn't try one since I was by myself but you could definitely split it between 2 or 3 people. The staff were always friendly as well.

They have limited hours. It is a small place. I did not try any of the food. Just got a smoothie that was not fresh ingredients.

Little cafe inside the Coronado springs resort. Just a small grab and go with pastries, coffee and smoothies made to order, trail mix, packaged cereals and other grab and go items. It was easy to get in and out. Had to wait a minute at the counter for both pastries and coffee, but was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I ordered a cafe latte with hazelnut and skim milk and ordered a traditional sprinkle donut. They had a huge Boston eclair donut that seemed to be very popular as well. Both items are average for what they are! If you're looking for a made-to-order coffee or a quick bite, this is the place on the destino side of the resort. Overall, this is your spot for coffee (they use jorffreys at the Disney resort) in the area.

Nice little spot for quick grab and go! Assortment of sweets, CUPCAKES, snacks, coffee and more! Sometimes the line gets a little long, but moves pretty fast!

Huge breakfast sandwiches, somewhat freshly made, the ones we got were definitely not sitting under the heat lamps for long. Real ingredients! And so cheesy. There was cheese in the egg and cheese on top of the sausage! Two hash browns included. Next time we are going to split one because it is a big sandwich!

The place was not crowded at all except the bar and the areas you could sit and just have a drink. 8 of us wanted to just end the night with a couple drinks and the woman in the front not only told us no but when we walked to the back to greet a friend she came trotting back to say we couldn't sit there, which we weren't we were all standing talking. After she was done trying to turn us away another employee, sorry I didn't get his name, nice man said wait a minute. He got Jaynee who was wonderful to serve us at tables put together in the back. I would have understood if the place was packed, it was not and frankly alcohol has a better profit margin than food, so seemed like a bad call on the original persons part. She could have definitely handled that way better. Jaynee was great, fun and professional, thank you for introducing us to her!

We do LOVE this chocolate chip cookie! But only got once because every other time we tried they were always sold out

Boo! They changed the restaurant/menu and we were totally disappointed. Don't change what wasn't broken. We have stayed here 5 years in a row and we loved eating here. But not anymore. Fries were soggy, cheesesteak sandwich soggy. Not good healthy choices and bad kids meals. Dang it. Please change the menu.

Looks like Selma's cookies, but doesnt taste the same! :(

I couldn't believe I found the old cookies that I was obsessed with every time I was at Orlando Fashion Square mall, Selma's cookies! However, when I tried it, I was a little disappointed that it didn't taste the same. It was stale! I'm guessing no one buys them that often?!

Do you have 7:36.2 mins. (yes I timed it) to wait for a bacon chesseburger? That's the equivalent of watching Rebecca Black's "Friday" 2.09221902 times. Now that may not seem like a long time, but it sure is when your leaning against a counter with other tourists bumping into to you to buy m&m's and chips. Now I come from Los Angeles where everything is fast and most people are in a rush, so the average wait for a burger is aproximently 3-4 mins. That is a BIG difference from 7 1/2 mins. Most of the time, when I go in to cafe' rix to refill my soda, I see customers standing against the counter, feet tapping, eyes rolling, and watch browsing. But I'd say the slow service is the only complaint I have. Once the burger finally arrives, it's presentation is beautiful and ready to go along your side on your walk to your hotel room. The taste of my bacon burger was delicious, a symphonic harmony of crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, and thick- crispy bacon. The texture was magnificent, a perfect balance of cold crisp and sizzling hot. If you are fortunate to tatse the gelato ( or ice cream or frozen yogurt or whatever it is), you will agree that although it melts pretty quick in the warm Florida weather, it's a nice way to cure your sweet tooth. The people working seem pretty cool although I do wish they would interact and talk to those waiting for the food, or maybe I'm just to much of a sociable person. Cool place to swing by if you want a snack late at night.

A sign easily missed being so high.

Thick, buttery soft cookie loaded with toppings and a nice salty touch to the pistachio and chocolate chip/toffee. I don't care for sweets too often, but this did it for me. First of all, the flavors read like someone dared a chef to turn a farmer's market, a cocktail bar, and a childhood memory into dessert--and somehow it works. I sampled things I cannot pronounce, things I would normally avoid, and at least one flavor that sounded like it belonged in a Thanksgiving side dish. Every single one made me pause mid-bite like, "Wait... why is this actually amazing?" The staff? Unreasonably patient. I asked for so many samples I started to feel like I was conducting a scientific study. Not once did they judge me. If anything, they enabled me. What I appreciate most is that it's not just gimmicky weirdness--there's actual thought behind every flavor. You can taste the intention, the creativity, and possibly a little chaos.
