    Tempting Tigress
    Sarah A.

Best kept secret in animal kingdom. It is air conditioned and peaceful. The drinks are strong and goooooood. It is walk up and usually not too long of a wait to get in. They have small bites that are also excellent. My favorite drink is the tempting tigress. It is outstanding and I get it every time!

We've been here three times in the last eight months. We've had great drinks and delicious food every time. The previous times we also had impeccable service. This was the first time we had just okay service. We sat at the bar and the bartender was more concerned with another couple. Won't stop us from going back to enjoy the great drinks.

Yummy drinks on a gorgeous afternoon. Leaping Lizard and 2 Lamu Libations.

I love this spot SO much. It is such a relaxing oasis that will transport you to a tropical location where noisey, hot, crowded theme parks exist somewhere nearby, but not here. Expect extremely attentive servers and extremely overpriced menu items. However, the items we had were, also, extremely satisfying. I don't come here often mainly because of the prices, but I do love this spot when I do visit. Give them a try and I hope you think this spot is pretty nice also!

Not our first visit, and definitely won't be our last. Nomad's strength is definitely in its ambiance and decor, with comfortable seating and a stylish, adventurous but laid-back interior. I enjoyed the food, but my husband was less than overjoyed (the Cuban sliders had "too much cumin" per his taste, but I love cumin). The famed Tiffin's bread service was interesting, but I really only enjoyed the Thai curry milk bread and not the other two offerings. I appreciated their kid's option, and our daughter did too, although it was very salty. Our service was surprisingly slow, much slower than its been in the past. It definitely put a damper on the end of our meal waiting so long just for the check. But still, I like Nomad lounge. Its not the fantastic stop it's been in the past, but it's worth a visit, and we will visit it again in the future.

Nomad Lounge is connected to Tiffins and offers a full bar with craft cocktails, as well as some delicious food options. The absolute must order are the churros! The vanilla sauce is so delightful. I've also had the sliders with yuca fries and the bread service. There are options to share and things to enjoy all to yourself. I typically order an espresso martini -- and you can choose between the traditional black or with cream and both are so good. You check the walk-up wait time on the app and check in to reserve your spot. The wait time on the app said 10 minutes but we were called after just a few minutes. Seating is available inside or outside and both are nice and comfy, depending on the weather. Inside Nomad Lounge is a perfect place to escape the weather and enjoy some delicious drinks and food!

Our first stop at Disney's Animal Kingdom was Nomad Lounge, and it set the tone for a perfect start to the day. As soon as we entered the park, I joined the online waitlist and received a text about an hour later letting us know our table was ready. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and requested outdoor seating, which turned out to be the perfect choice. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, and quickly took our drink order. My wife chose the Boto-Rita, made with Los Siete Misterios Mezcal, Combier Grapefruit Rose, guava purée, and lime juice, finished with pink peppercorns. I went with the Lambu Libation, featuring STARR African Rum, Cruzan Banana Rum, guava purée, orange, lime, and pineapple juices, topped with Goslings 151 Proof Black Seal Rum. Both cocktails were flavorful, well-balanced, and worth the $17.50 price. For food, we ordered the charcuterie board, a bit of a hidden gem that isn't always available. It was a great complement to our drinks and perfect for sharing. To finish, we couldn't resist the famous churros--and they absolutely lived up to the hype. Soft, warm, and chewy, they were served with two dipping sauces: vanilla and a seasonal strawberry, both of which were delicious. Between the excellent drinks, tasty bites, and relaxing outdoor atmosphere, Nomad Lounge delivered on every level. We loved soaking in the themed surroundings and enjoying the laid-back vibe. This will definitely be a regular stop for us whenever we're in this area of the park.

I'm all my years of visiting I did not really know about this bar and I am reluctant to post because I would like it as my secret place to unwind and cool off. I love the ambience and the service was great. I ordered the Lamu Libation minus the guava puree (allergy). It was very refreshing. They also have food but we didn't partake because we had lunch plans. Definitely stopping here everytime I visit the AK.

Nomad Lounge is one of our favorite spots at Animal Kingdom. Hands down the best churros on Disney property, fresh and perfectly crispy on the outside while soft in the middle, and the vanilla and chocolate dipping sauces are excellent. The food menu changes often, but there are usually some really solid options, including surprisingly good kids' chicken nuggets. The bread service is the same as at Tiffins and it is a staple. They also have great drink options with a full bar, making it a perfect place to relax for a bit. The wait for a table can be long at times, but it's absolutely worth it once you're seated. A must-stop if you're visiting the park.

Small bites with cocktail and moctail available. The wings are fantastic and the churros were amazing. Perfect spot to ex ape from that Florida random storm that roles through.

Loved the drinks and vibe at this cute oasis bar that is connected to tiffin's restaurant. The service was great and we were able to stand at the bar and grad a quick drink in between rides. We had a small churro snack which was good but the drinks were definitely the highlight! We will be back for sure the next time we are in Disney!

Nomad Lounge is always a must for us whenever we're at Animal Kingdom. Perfect place to take a break, grab a snack, and chill with a drink. We've pretty much tried everything on the menu, but today we went straight for the Cuban Frita Sliders. So good (although they seem to shrink a little every time we come, WTH?). Washed it all down with a High Tower cocktail--always super refreshing on a hot park day. Cam took great care of us.

I LOVE Nomad Lounge! I consider it my favorite lounge on Disney property and a hidden gem when it comes to theme park snacks! I have never needed a reservation as I have had good luck walking-up. Nomad Lounge shares a kitchen with Tiffins, which is arguably one of the best table service restaurants in all of Walt Disney World, but none of the hassle trying to get reservations or paying typical Disney prices. Some of my favorites on the menu include the Tiffins Bread Service (I could eat 100 Pãu de Queijo), Bangkok wings, Chicken Satay, and the churros! Everything is so hot and delicious and u absolutely love everything about this spot.

Best cocktail and lounge bar - a hidden gem oasis cocktail bar in Disney Animal Kingdom. The vibes are amazing and really love their watermelon flavored high tower Rocks cocktail. So refreshing. Is it expensive? Hell yeah, this is Disney bougie but it's worth it.

Ask the Community - Nomad Lounge

Do you need to have park tickets to access this restaurant ? Will you be able to eat at this restaurant without buying park tickets ? Is there a process for Florida residents?

Yes, you will need park admission to Animal Kingdom (and a park reservation for the day you plan to visit).

I noticed pictures of boats passing by the porch. Do they pass often? Looks like something fun to see.

It's pretty random. Maybe every 30 mins or so. And I don't think they run after dark.

I've noticed that a couple of reviewers have mentioned a "wait list" for Nomad Lounge. In the past it was just a walk in/first come first served with no need to reserve. Has something changed? How do you access the wait list? Thanks!

You can access the waitlist on the Disney app once you are near the park. You can also be put on the waitlist once you arrive if there is a wait.

Can you get into the restaurant if you are not at the parks?

No, it is in the middle of the park, right at the main entry bridge to Pandora

The hostess greets you and has a dialogue and lines throughout the experience. We enjoyed the cocktails! Each out is explained by a narrator and has some type of interaction before drinking the cocktail. They provide flat/sparkling water while you enjoy the lo fi music and relaxing ambience. We waited around at our table between cocktails and were left without water a few times. At one point the manager brought us water but flat while we were drinking sparkling. He did come over and apologize which was appreciated. The team consisted of a main bartender, two narrators the hostess and manager. The manager during our 2 hours spent majority of the time with one table likely friends or VIPs which probably could have been better served assisting with waters and popcorn. The table next to us also mentioned they'd prefer a bottle of water at the table. Great suggestion! You are given a small token before you leave and valet is taken care when dining in. The valet also struggled to find our car which was alarming and then when they did locate it, we found the valet hang tag on the floor hence why they could not locate the keys. The valet person laughed it off like it wasn't a big deal. Personally, I feel like it was drawn out for time and overpriced but what do you expect for a bar inside of a high end hotel. I would give them another chance but we will see what the future holds.

This was supposed to be one of the highlights of our trip. The day before our reservation, OpenTable texted asking us to confirm our 6:00 PM reservation. I replied "1" and immediately received a response: **"Thanks! You're confirmed. See you soon."** The next evening, dressed up and excited for our anniversary dinner, we arrived at 6:00 PM only to be greeted with, essentially, "Nope, we're closed for a private event." As the attached photos show, Bourbon Steak was closed for a planned corporate event. Yet somehow our reservation remained active. We received no email, no text message, no Disney app notification, and no communication whatsoever that our reservation would not be honored. The explanation given was that they tried calling, but my voicemail was full. While that's true, the restaurant had multiple other ways to contact us, including OpenTable, email, and the Disney reservation system. Instead, OpenTable reconfirmed our reservation less than 24 hours before arrival and Disney still showed it as active minutes before we walked through the door. Private events happen. What should never happen is confirming a reservation, keeping it active across multiple systems, and then turning guests away at the door on a milestone anniversary because the restaurant failed to communicate. The manager offered to move us to another restaurant, but that completely missed the point. We didn't spend months planning an anniversary dinner at Bourbon Steak just to be redirected elsewhere at the last minute. We chose Bourbon Steak specifically. For a restaurant that positions itself as a luxury dining experience, this was a shocking failure in communication, planning, and guest service. We never even got the chance to try the food because the restaurant couldn't manage its reservations properly. One of the most disappointing dining experiences we've ever had, and we never sat down at a table.

As the hostess walked away from our table, she commented that our group was going to be "nothing but a problem." The basis for that assumption? One member of our party had simply helped clear and organize the table to make the seating process easier and faster for the staff. Yes, we were a lively group. We were on vacation, having a great time at Disney, laughing and enjoying each other's company. What we were not was intoxicated. The situation escalated when one of our friends was accused of being drunk and our entire party of 10 was asked to leave. The problem is that she wasn't intoxicated at all. What makes this especially troubling is that our friend has worked incredibly hard to maintain her sobriety and recently celebrated 12 months alcohol-free through AA. To be publicly accused of being drunk after reaching such a significant milestone was humiliating, heartbreaking, and completely unnecessary. When we brought our concerns to the General Manager, Scott, we expected leadership. We expected someone who would take a moment to assess the situation, listen to both sides, and use his own judgment. Instead, he simply stated that he trusted his employees and made no effort to independently evaluate what had happened. A manager's job isn't to blindly accept accusations. A manager's job is to gather facts, assess the situation, and make informed decisions. In this case, Scott failed to do that. As a result, the restaurant lost a party of 10 customers. More importantly, they deeply hurt someone who has spent the last year fighting for her sobriety. That's the part of this experience we won't forget. Everyone makes mistakes. Great restaurants acknowledge them, learn from them, and treat people with dignity. Unfortunately, this experience was defined by assumptions, poor judgment, and a complete lack of empathy from both the staff and management.

You cannot park at the Boardwalk without a reservation and this does not take reservations. I would recommend a bus from Disney Springs, or cut through the park if you have a pass. You can also park at Studios and take the Skyliner to EPCOT and then walk over or boat to Boardwalk. It is not the easiest to get here but you can do it. Inside they offer bar seating and then a couple of high-top tables and then couches and bench tables. There is a server that will come to you if you are not at the bar. The theme is magicians and magic, they have pictures on the walls that move and change, everything has a magic theme. There is also props and such with the same magician theme. It is not super big and can get busy, but we have usually had a good chance to get a seat. We do go early though, we have not been here late in the evening. You can also grab a drink to go which a lot of people do. It is between Flying Fish and Trattoria Al Forno restaurants, so a lot of people will sit in here waiting or grab a drink before dinner. Some of their drinks are interesting with a couple trying to stay with the magic theme, however, if you don't like any of the drinks, you can just order your own. They have a pretty well stocked bar serving beer, wine, and many different types of liquor. I personally enjoy ordering my own and always go for an espresso martini and a lemon drop martini. There is also food available from 5:00pm to 10:00pm but only 3 options. This is designed as a snack, you are not getting a meal here. My favorite items is the Lump Crab Fries which has Wasabi Aioli, Doenjang, and Tobiko for $17.00. This was a huge portion of crispy thin fries, topped with tons of crab and then drizzled with sauce. The crab was fantastic, really good and did not have a fishy taste which sometimes you get. I would highly recommend them. We will go back for these, they are that good! As we get older we are discovering the more adult things in Disney such as lounges as opposed to riding rides. If you can fit this in, I would highly recommend checking it out. The drinks are strong, they are good and very delicious. ACES!

From the moment we walked in, he made sure to ask us questions and give recommendations because it was our first time. He let us know that these were the best burgers in Orlando, and he wasn't lying. The food, although a little pricey, was absolutely amazing. I ordered the Bangin' Shrimp as an appetizer, which blew me away. The shrimp had a tempura fry to it, giving it a perfectly crispy crunch. The sauces that were drizzled on top helped to amplify the flavor of the dish. For my main course, I ordered the Shroom N Swiss burger. I love how thick and juicy the burger patties are. It's hard to find a good burger place that has thick patties, and The Whiskey delivers that meat. Another thing that blew me away was the mushroom that came on top. Usually, mushroom burgers have little slices of mushrooms, but this burger had a big fat slice of mushroom on top. And it tasted so good. This is a perfect atmosphere to come in, grab a couple drinks, eat good food, and maybe even catch a sports game or live music. Only thing I will say is that it may be a little loud for some, making it hard to hear conversations. But if you love a loud atmosphere, then this place is perfect!

Monica was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. Unfortunately, our interaction with Mary was the complete opposite. She was rude and unaccommodating, which made our visit unpleasant. After ordering a few drinks, we decided to patronize another business. As a group of returning customers, we were also disappointed that no effort was made to accommodate us. We've supported this restaurant year after year, and we expected a more welcoming experience, especially as loyal guests. We hope management recognizes the difference that customer service can make and addresses these concerns so future guests--and returning customers like us--have a better experience.

We frequently come to Animal Kingdom Lodge for breakfast and they are not open yet, so we have not gotten the chance. We finally did! To get here you will need to head to Animal Kingdom resort, which Disney does not allow you to park at without a dining reservation. It can be tricky to get here, but I would recommend coming from a theme park or Disney Springs. The lounge is open from 4:0pm to 11:00pm and food service starts at 5:00pm. My wife and I had dinner at one of their restaurants so we went here first, they do allow you to come park up to two hours before your reservation so it worked perfectly. We enjoyed it so much, we also came back to the lounge after our dinner for another drink. The resort itself is all African, theming, decor, even some cast members. I love this resort for the feel especially since both my parents are from Africa. It is always enjoyable to run into a cast member from where my parents are from and get to talk to them. The lounge is almost in between two floors. You can get to off the lobby and it's a half level down. They sandwiched a lounge on the level and it is the only thing on that "level". You cannot get to it from an elevator, you need to go down the stairs. Im sure there is a ramp for strollers and wheelchairs but I did not locate it. It also over looks Boma, the buffet style restaurant. There are seats at the bar and then a few tables and couches around, but it is not overly large. We did notice most people stopped by for a drink and took it to go although there were a few people sitting. There were more sitting after our dinner. Their menu is slightly limited, especially with the wines, but they do have a full bar and then food as well. We decided to only get one food item as we were going to dinner. We ordered the Spiced Goat Cheese Dip which was served with Assorted Breads, like pita and pepadew chips. Fantastic! It was absolutely delicious and something I would order over and over. This dip was not overly spicy, but had a little hint, it was very cheesy and creamy and then toasted on the top so you got a little crunch. It was also topped with a couple of peppers, where I think most of the "spice" came from. We were also wanting to get the burger, which we heard was delicious but we will get it next time. We both ordered a couple of different cocktails. I ordered 2 different types of Old Fashioned. The first one had bourbon and the second one had tequila. Both of these were fantastic but I am preferring tequila old fashioned' s lately. I also order a classic Manhattan, which is another favorite and this one was delicious. I usually do not go for the specialty cocktails, since they are usually too sweet for me. All three of my drinks were very strong and I definitely recommend them! My wife tried a couple of the specialty drinks and then an African wine. She first ordered the Cold Brew Martini which had Amarula Cream Liqueur, Kahlúa Liqueur, Crème de Cacao Dark Liqueur, Stoli Vanilla Vodka, and Joffrey' Cold Brew Coffee. It was a good creamy cold brew martini, not quite an espresso martini but still good and she mentioned she would get it again. She also tried the Prickly Pear Mule which had VUSA African Vodka, Belle de Brillet Pear Liqueur, Prickly Pear, and Lime topped with Ginger Beer. She loved this one but she is a huge fan of Prickly Pear. It was not overly sweet and had a slight fizz due to the ginger beer. The wine she chose was the Rustenberg Chardonnay. She would have preferred a Pinot Grigio or Moscato/Riesling but she say this was really good. It was not super sweet, just a slight sweetness, not too tart. It was a good glass of wine and a great portion. This was a great lounge and one I could see us coming to for dinner when we dont feel like cooking. Food starts at 5 but they open at 4. I highly recommend checking it out! ACES!

This lounge is located at Animal Kingdom resort, so it can be difficult to get here. You are not allowed to park here without a dining reservation or staying at the resort. So if you are just trying to visit the lounge, you are going to need to take a bus over from either a park or Disney Springs. Luckily we had dinner reservations so we were able to park here. They are open from 4pm to 11pm. Their ambiance is very South African, which is on par with the resort. It also overlooks Boma, which is the buffet restaurant downstairs. Their menu is slightly limited in area, especially with the wines, but they do have a full bar and also offer some light bites starting at 5pm. We absolutely loved it here. It is for sure a place we want to come back and spend more time. They have seats at the bar and then a few tables and couches around, but it is not overly large. I noticed a lot of people would come in just to grab a drink at the bar and leave. We ended up spending time when they opened and then again after our dinner. For drinks, we ordered a couple different ones in total, since we came back a second time. I tried two of their cocktails from the menu. The first one I tried was the Cold Brew Martini which had Amarula Cream Liqueur, Kahlúa Liqueur, Crème de Cacao Dark Liqueur, Stoli Vanilla Vodka, and Joffrey' Cold Brew Coffee. It was a classic cold brew martini, very creamy and delicious. I also tried the Prickly Pear Mule which had VUSA African Vodka, Belle de Brillet Pear Liqueur, Prickly Pear, and Lime topped with Ginger Beer. I also tried one of their South African wines, the Rustenberg Chardonnay. I am not usually a Chardonnay fan but this was really good, it was crisp and not overly tart with a hint of sweetness. I would get it again. My husband ordered 2 Old Fashioned's, one with bourbon and one with tequila. He also ordered a Manhattan. He usually goes for the classic cocktails as opposed to the menu versions. He enjoyed both of them, and mentioned how they were very strong. For food we only tried one thing since we had dinner reservations. We tried the Spiced Goat Cheese Dip which was served with Assorted Breads, like pita and pepadew chips. This was so good! I had heard tons of reviews that this was the thing to order so I knew we had to try to it. It totally lived up to the hype. It was cheesy, creamy, full of flavor. It was topped with some peppers and what seemed like crispy onions. It was not spicy at all even though its in its name. I loved this and cant wait to get it again. There are some other options for food including a burger. We definitely need to get back here to try more. I would absolutely say check this lounge out. Opening at 4pm, this is for sure a spot we might head over for dinner and drinks on a Friday night.
