Best lounge in WDW! Exceptional food, oasis vibe, and just the perfect spot to get off your feet during a day in Animal Kingdom! We love to pop in to Nomad Lounge during our Animal Kingdom day! After an early start with hopefully a trip around the savanna, it is a wonderful escape and cool place to sit and sip! Even though it isn't meant to be adult only, grab a table outside on the porch and you'll be secluded without children running around too! The drinks here are so creatively themed and deliciously fresh too. We grabbed a Zingiber Fizzie and a Snow Leopard Salvation without alcohol. Both are overflowing with fresh herbs and a perfect cool sippage to lounge!!! But... the real treat here is the food menu too. Newly updated - but still with homages to the classics!! We grabbed the Chinese Five-Spice Glazed Chicken Wings and the Churros! I loved the PBJ wings but the flavor of these wings is out of this.. jungle!!! The churros are still the same... best churros in WDW... but the new blueberry sauce is a perfect pair with the vanilla crema.. double dip, if you want the perfect bite of sweet and sour! Was planning to go to Tiffans next door but was not hungry enough for mid afternoon full-on menu dine in. Saw this on the Disney App and booked to walk up. Table was ready in 10 mins after booked in app. What a nice side outdoor sitting area of the same restaurant as Tiffany's: just small bites and drinks here. We got rained out and the server was very nice to replace our first 3 bites plates completely. The ribs, spices wings and mushroom dumplings were all so good! The churros with orange and vanilla sauces were to die for too! The kids at the next table each ate 4 pieces! There were 5 pieces in each other! Best kept secret in animal kingdom. It is air conditioned and peaceful. The drinks are strong and goooooood. It is walk up and usually not too long of a wait to get in. I enjoyed the food, but my husband was less than overjoyed (the Cuban sliders had "too much cumin" per his taste, but I love cumin). The famed Tiffin's bread service was interesting, but I really only enjoyed the Thai curry milk bread and not the other two offerings. I appreciated their kid's option, and our daughter did too, although it was very salty. Our service was surprisingly slow, much slower than its been in the past. It definitely put a damper on the end of our meal waiting so long just for the check. But still, I like Nomad lounge. I've also had the sliders with yuca fries and the bread service. There are options to share and things to enjoy all to yourself. I typically order an espresso martini -- and you can choose between the traditional black or with cream and both are so good. You check the walk-up wait time on the app and check in to reserve your spot. The wait time on the app said 10 minutes but we were called after just a few minutes. Seating is available inside or outside and both are nice and comfy, depending on the weather. Our first stop at Disney's Animal Kingdom was Nomad Lounge, and it set the tone for a perfect start to the day. As soon as we entered the park, I joined the online waitlist and received a text about an hour later letting us know our table was ready. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and requested outdoor seating, which turned out to be the perfect choice. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, and quickly took our drink order. My wife chose the Boto-Rita, made with Los Siete Misterios Mezcal, Combier Grapefruit Rose, guava purée, and lime juice, finished with pink peppercorns. I went with the Lambu Libation, featuring STARR African Rum, Cruzan Banana Rum, guava purée, orange, lime, and pineapple juices, topped with Goslings 151 Proof Black Seal Rum. Both cocktails were flavorful, well-balanced, and worth the $17.50 price. For food, we ordered the charcuterie board, a bit of a hidden gem that isn't always available. It was a great complement to our drinks and perfect for sharing. To finish, we couldn't resist the famous churros--and they absolutely lived up to the hype. Soft, warm, and chewy, they were served with two dipping sauces: vanilla and a seasonal strawberry, both of which were delicious. Between the excellent drinks, tasty bites, and relaxing outdoor atmosphere, Nomad Lounge delivered on every level. We loved soaking in the themed surroundings and enjoying the laid-back vibe. I LOVE Nomad Lounge! I consider it my favorite lounge on Disney property and a hidden gem when it comes to theme park snacks! I have never needed a reservation as I have had good luck walking-up. Nomad Lounge shares a kitchen with Tiffins, which is arguably one of the best table service restaurants in all of Walt Disney World, but none of the hassle trying to get reservations or paying typical Disney prices. Some of my favorites on the menu include the Tiffins Bread Service (I could eat 100 Pãu de Queijo), Bangkok wings, Chicken Satay, and the churros! Here is your adult lunch spot in Animal Kingdom. It has a gentle safari theme, with a spacious indoor area with table seating and a bar, plus covered outdoor table seating overlooking a waterway. The food menu is smallish, but still covers a nice range. I had the tuna poke bowl, and it was as good as any I've had in Hawai'i. Perfect size, very nice small cubes of fish with good earthiness from carrots and edamame, acid from kimchee, and just the right kick of heat from a light chili sesame glaze. Perfection. The drink menu is more extensive, and contains many delights. The service is Disney all the way, and the whole vibe is a peaceful respite. An awesome spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of Disney's Animal Kingdom park. Visited in September and popped into Nomad for appetizers and refreshments in the late afternoon. We got the bread service and the grilled chicken satay which were both amazing. Service was incredible including the manager who moved our table after seating us as the sun was too bright in our faces at the only table they had outside. She moved us inside without any issues. This is Animal Kingdom's gem! Second time my husband and I have made it a priority to enjoy a little bite to eat and delicious drinks on the outside patio. It's right along the water front and so beautiful and calming. We walked right up as it opened and were able to get seated immediately. I opted for a cocktail and the sliders. Cocktail was refreshing and the sliders were a great source of fuel. I wouldn't order them again, but they tasted just fine! The Yuca fries were nice and crispy but sitting in a curry spiced oil that I didn't care for. Our waiter was very sweet and gave me a to-go container for my mocktail so I could finish enjoying it while walking through the park. The service was also excellent and very attentive. For appetizers, we shared the Bread service as well as the Bangkok wings. In my opinion, the Bangkok wings are better value for the price, as you get 5 wings for $16 vs. $18 for bread and spreads, which seemed a little high. Nevertheless, both were tasty and we (two people) were very full between these two items. Our favorite item was dessert, which were the churros. This was absolutely our favorite on-property dining experience during our recent Disney World vacation. Animal Kingdom has a lot more to offer than meets the eye, and we found our new favorite hideaway at Nomad Lounge. You'll find this inviting oasis right beside AK's signature dining option, Tiffins. Although we've yet to dine there, I do know that it's difficult to snag a reservation, so we opted to check out Nomad Lounge, which does not take reservations. Following a tip from some Disney Youtubers, I joined the walk-up list in the My Disney Experience app as we walked across the park, and we were able to be seated right away. Although you may find a few families at Nomad Lounge, this spot is definitely more geared toward adults, making it a nice reprieve from the rest of the busy park atmosphere. Many of the outdoor seating options are set up with only a pair of seats, which is a subtle nod to the primary clientele. Our server Lance was exceptional - he was incredibly attentive, and provided great recommendations for drinks and dishes. Many of the specialty cocktails have a non-alcoholic option - I ordered the Zingiber Fizzie, which was fresh and fruity without being overly sweet. The Bangkok Chicken Wings were our favorite bite of the meal (and maybe of our whole trip?) They were perfectly crispy, and coated in a sweet and salty sauce unlike any I've tried. We also ordered and enjoyed the Tiffins Bread Service, and the Mushroom Bao Buns. We were actually seated right before a true Florida thunderstorm rolled through, and this was a picturesque setting to wait out the storm and listen to the rain. If you're in search of respite from the elements (or the crowds), I'd absolutely recommend a visit to Nomad Lounge the next time you're in Animal Kingdom. read more

At around 3pm, we (party of 2) snagged a table on the Disney app for Nomad Lounge. We waited only about 10 minutes and the woman working the check in spot was so kind and friendly! We were seated outside at a cozy two top out of the sun, and it was perfect after a hot park day! We need to accommodate a gluten allergy, which can always be a little trying. Nomad Lounge has several GF options, and we decided to share an order of chicken tenders with fries (GF!) and churros with two sauces on the side (also GF!). It was honestly so wonderful to feel safe with GF options and not feel like we were missing out on food options. The chicken was tasty, crispy and moist! A really solid GF tender. The churros were to die for, and both sauces incredible! My favorite was the vanilla sauce, which I could guzzle with a funnel. The chili hot chocolate sauce is also stunningly smooth and a perfect dipping sauce for the churro. I believe our server's name was Jayce, he was amazing! Love this little lounge in Animal Kingdom. We went on a Sunday and there was an hour wait. There were two seats at the bar but there were three of us so we waited for a table. Nice variety of specialty cocktails and a full bar, so you can order off menu. The tapas menu is nice with good variety. I was just sad the Mac and cheese was not on the menu but it's understandable that they rotate items. We absolutely loved the wings and the s'mores martini was sweet but yummy!
