Not what we expected After seeing the stars and the reviews we stopped by this morning unaware that this was a drive thru. When the server approached the car we asked what flavors of latte they had (since there is no menu is sight). The response we got was "we have everything". Not really helpful, this basically means you have no specialties and nothing creative to offer which is unfortunate in today's coffee world. Still, we ordered a half caf vanilla latte and a decaf Carmel latte. There was no hint or indication of any vanilla or Caramel flavors in either of our drinks. The coffee itself was ok, but if your looking for anything creative or any flavor other than just coffee I think there are many better spots. We won't be back. read more

Our morning was a mess, by 11:30 I had realized my morning coffee was cold on the kitchen countertop (in the same place I remember walking away from so many hours ago) after sipping my cold coffee I had an immediate craving for an iced vanilla oat milk latte. So I pulled up nearing noon! I'm talking,11:55? Needless to say I was SELFISHLY unaware that they were closing at 12:00! When the gal approached she had a smile, she asked how I was, she took my order with patience & making sure to not miss a thing. I ordered two iced vanilla oat milk lattes & whichever sweet treats left. The three gal's crushed it. I'm a committed patient of the medium roast with espresso poured in (called a "redeye" in many establishments), and the balance of flavor and caffeine here was delicious. I mean, scooters. What's got more character or cuteness than a scooter? Ubiquitous internet kitten pictures? Hardly. You can't resist scooters--unless you've driven in Rome during rush hour, but fortunately I've blocked that experience from my consciousness. Service, walk-up or drive-by, is par excellence. If you're looking for the best coffee in the area, this is your place. Nick makes the best espresso in town, and in a town dominated by foodies and tourists with hangovers, that is saying quite a bit. I also have to put in a word about their chai and blended drinks. I'm not normally a big chai drinker, but I make an exception for Cafe Scooteria. I can confidently say that it's the best chai I have ever had. And if your chai is too sweet or not sweet enough, they'll make it to your liking. In the past few months they've expanded their food selections as well, which is alternately good and bad, as everything they offer is delicious and makes me lose all willpower. From doughnuts to croissants (oh, the croissants), yogurt and granola, they're really covering many bases. They've also started carrying sandwiches from Mamma Tannino's across the street and baking fresh cookies daily. And did I mention they also carry gelato...and will blend it in a coffee drink for you? The BEST chai I've ever had in my life. No joke. The barista and waitresses were incredibly friendly - all of them had asked if I'd been helped or said hello as they passed by. I got the tiger chai and my boyfriend got the green tea chai - we both took a sip and were obsessed. OH. MY. GOSH. So. Darn. Good. Seriously. And the temperature was PERFECT. Have to agree with previous posts. I was sent over to these guys for a bike issue and was greeted by Nick and his wife (name escapes me sorry). We talked bike and he offered me a drink. I am a huge chai guy and have traveled quite extensively and sampled many. I can honesty say this was up there with the best I've had. I don't quite know what to make of this place. There was a lot going on, from the scooters to the coffee to the construction of the trolley nearby. My coffee was decent, ordered a small but got a large (there are worse things in life). Overall, folks were friendly, and it's a cute concept: drive up, baristas come to you to take your order, you pay, end of transaction. Probably wouldn't go here every day, but it was a fun one-off. Cafe Scooteria has the best coffee drinks in Sonoma, by far. They are much better than Hot Shots on Broadway and both our Starbucks. I have been frequenting their cafe for coffee for about three months and I have never had a bad drink. No bitter mochas that you can't taste the chocolate (Hot shots on Broadway), Never too sweet either- (Starbucks). Nothing is worse than driving away with a $4.00 cup of coffee only to find it is terrible, either the shots were pulled too early or there isn't enough chocolate. I've picked up coffee for my three coworkers to get their opinion and they all agree! From lattes to mochas-give them a try, you won't be disappointed. I really can't believe this is the best coffee in Sonoma. The concept is cool with the whole scooter/garage theme going on but my latte was weak, it didn't even taste like coffee, it tasted like a nesquick chocolate milk. I always get a vanilla latte with almond milk regardless of where I am and I'm not sure what I got but it wasn't that. The glazed doughnut I got on a whim however was delicious. read more
