Great ambiance and amazing service. The food options are great for a cafe. Shakshuka on point.

What a cute spot! Popped in for an afternoon coffee and croissant with a friend. The menu looks great! If I lived around here, I'd be back in for the French onion soup. Beatriz helped us and prepared me a *delicious* cappuccino. She definitely knows her way around coffee. It was also so sweet seeing her care for all the customers- treating each with appropriate attention. It's hard to believe Cafe Tati has been open for only 1 year. Appears to be a seamless, clean, positive operation. Delightful!

We only stopped here for coffee, but this is some of the best brew and service I've had in a while. The waitress was so friendly and great with the customers coming in and out. She recommended the dirty chai to me, which was absolutely delicious. Hot, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. There's a great indoor and outdoor seating area that's great for catching up on work or with friends.

Great service, strong coffee, crisp pastries. Shakshuka was fresh and piping hot! Happy they had outdoor seating. Highly recommend.

Cafe Tati recently opened in downtown Hoboken. It's a great addition to the neighborhood. I was welcomed by the employees while catchy, uplifting music was playing in the cafe. I ordered an iced Americano with cream and the smoked salmon, egg, and cheese croissant. The coffee was smooth and delicious. The croissant was buttery and fresh. The cheese and eggs were perfectly cooked, and there was an ample amount of salmon to complete the sandwich. There are 9 tables outside to enjoy your meal solo or with friends. I can't wait to try the crepes next.

Randomly popped in here on a Saturday afternoon and already planning on going back for dinner (which is B. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, the food was delicious, and the cafe is SO cute and currently decorated for the holidays. Highly recommend!

The food is amazing, the service is even better. Every experience I've had here is always better than the last, and you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I truly feel like I am eating at home here. Not to mention the restaurant is amazingly decorated.

they should have more reviews considering there were a lot of people in and out of this cafe in the hour or two I was there. was going to get a strawberry matcha and the barista recommended raspberry instead. I went with it and enjoyed it. My sister got a hibiscus drink. We were given complimentary cookies to snack on as we shade on a table in the corner under the shade. the two kind people who helped us were so sweet and hope they continue to have beautiful days. 5 stars strictly for the staff. they seem to have specials on their menu involving brunch items we did not try *

Rude staff, slow, better espresso right across the street! Place is a mess inside. Chaotic coffee shop.

I ordered the Shakshuka, which was fresh and flavorful, and my husband had the omelet special of the day--both were absolutely delicious.

Not only…read moreare the desserts incredible, but the employees were so friendly and pleasant to deal with as well. The star of the show is, of course, the Merveilleux. It's made with light, airy meringue and whipped cream, then covered in chocolate shavings. It somehow manages to be rich and delicate at the same time. I can see why it's their signature dessert. They offer different flavors and sizes too, from mini versions to larger cakes that are perfect for sharing. One of the coolest parts of visiting is that the kitchen is completely open. You can watch the pastry chefs assembling these beautiful creations right in front of you. It's mesmerizing and makes the whole experience feel special. The bakery has roots in Northern France and Belgium, where the Merveilleux originated, but pastry chef Frédéric Vaucamps reinvented the classic recipe to make it lighter and more modern. Whatever he did worked because these pastries are unforgettable. A quick tip: cash only, so come prepared. Honestly, if you're anywhere nearby, I think you need to run there. Between the amazing desserts, the friendly staff, and the chance to watch everything being made fresh, it's one of the most enjoyable bakery experiences I've had in a long time. I know you won't be sorry!

Aux Merveilleux de Fred is a tiny, beautifully fragrant shop on 8th Ave. I ordered the cold brew black and it was one of the smoothest, most satisfying first cups of the day I've had in a long time. Finding genuinely good black cold brew in this city is harder than it should be, and this one hit the spot so perfectly I made a second solo trip before sundown. The chocolate and almond croissant was delicate, flaky, and exactly what a croissant should be. The shop itself is small, no indoor seating, but two benches out front! The staff was warm and the whole place smells incredible the moment you walk in. I've already earmarked the Cramique for my next visit, because if it's anywhere near as good as everything else, I'm in trouble. Do yourself a favor and stop in!

The staff is all very nice and the food comes out quickly. portion sizes are decent for lunch items and things like french toast are above average. I liked that they used real tableware that had some weight to it as opposed to plastic, we accidentally knocked over a glass as we were leaving and it hit the ground but didn't break so that was a big relief but it makes the dining experience feel like more thought was put into it when even the table ware is of good quality. Overall it seems like a place that will be around for a long time, and you should definitely visit if you're in the area.

Very small space, so you'll be squeezed tightly with your neighbors. Come here after the brunch rush, after 1:30pm, to get a seat. Otherwise, there's always a wait. Quick, efficient service. Menu is small, simple, but everything is tasty and you can't go wrong with any option. $24 big banter Breakfast was a healthy combo of filling ingredients. Good to share between two people or take leftovers home. $18 avocado toast + $3 egg was tasty, filling and healthy. Pretty presentation. $6 hot matcha was disappointing. Very bland and watered down. Tasted only milk, no matcha, which was sad.
