Ordered: Blueberry Iced Latte (~$6) Lavender Iced Latte (~$6) Aya's take: This location of Bwè Kafe is more charming & cozy compared to their other location on Adams St. We decided to try the Blueberry Iced Latte and Lavender Iced Latte. They have these as specials with cold brew but we decided to get it with espresso. Both drinks didn't quite hit the same this time. The lavender and blueberry flavors were both good, added some sweetness, and fruity/floral elements but for some reason, the latte didn't feel as cohesive. The staff were very friendly and offered to remake it if I didn't like it. I think the syrup wasn't strong enough or could've been better layered with the milk & espresso. Decent try! read more

Cute cafe on Washington St. in Hoboken. I was there on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. All of the tables were occupied, but by the time my drink was ready someone left so I got lucky. The baristas were very friendly and nice. They were doing their best to get everyone's orders and did not get delayed by how busy it was. I ordered the March special which was the Toasted Coconut Mocha. I absolutely loved it. It was rich and creamy and just as I expected it to be. I wish they had sweet treats that I can eat along with it. I'm interested to see what other monthly specials they have for the upcoming months. Bwè Kafe has saved my family one too many times when we needed to find a really quick and easy coffee shop for some caffeine. What I loved about this particular location was that it was just around the corner from our Airbnb on Willow Street, and they have a variety of non-dairy options, including almond, oat, macadamia, and pistachio milks. We usually ordered just coffees in the morning. I was hoping to make this our staple breakfast joint during our stay in Hoboken, though the kitchen is closed on Mondays + open Tuesday-Sunday at 8 AM. We DID try out their food one day when we arrived around 8:30 AM. I ordered the smoked salmon toast, which came with mixed greens, egg salad, and a hefty portion of smoked salmon on top of freshly baked white bread. I thought the food tasted great, and I was happy to have had leftovers for breakfast the next day. I appreciate the convenience that Bwè Kafe brought us when we stayed in Hoboken. What a lovely coffee shop! In town for the weekend and it snowed overnight - we felt like we were in a Hallmark movie. The shop had some seasonal beverages - two of us for a hazelnut maple latte, then a cortado and a normal coffee. The specialty latte was delicious - not overpoweringly sweet. Also I thought the prices were very reasonable! We also got an almond croissant to split and it had a light and delicious airiness to it. The only ding I'll say is the flow of the space - it's a little tight to get through with people in line when you're walking from the back of the shop to the front. One of my favorite coffee shops in Hoboken. I love to come here to work, meet with a friend or just grab coffee on the weekend. They have good gluten free pastry options. I came in around 2pm on a Saturday and it was all gone. Come early. I love the calm vibe, friendly staff and nice people in the coffee shop. They also have some music and events in the evening sometimes and a community board that truly helped me with a career transition at some point in my life (a resume miracle worker had posted an ad and I responded). I walked by this cafe after taking a SoulCycle class nearby. There were a lot of foot traffic when I was there. Most customers were there with their laptops. I've been a regular here for years and love that baristas are sweet and know my order. It's a great place for a quick coffee on the way to work or after the gym. I love that the owners are often there and engage with the customers. My only complaint is that the space gets a bit crowded and slightly hectic during rush times mostly because there are a bunch of regulars sitting by the door right in the area where you wait for your order. Decent cafe with not many options for pastries. Went there on a Sunday morning. There was a line but the wait time was not bad as the service was faster. Got iced latte, hot chocolate and the banana loaf. All the three were okay; not so great. There are both indoor and outdoor seating available. They also have soft serve but they don't start until noon for that. read more

Came by here to get some work done after having lunch with a friend, and this cafe hits all the spots! The iced matcha latte I got was good, there are outlets, and the wifi was speedy enough for the work I needed to get done. Super chill and laidback vibe, the staff is very kind too. The espresso machine was out of order when I was here, purportedly possibly because of the water break that occurred recently so lots of kudos to cafes in Hoboken who deal with Hoboken's floods and shenanigans. This is a GREAT spot if you're looking to hunker down and get some work done while sipping on great coffee. This is also a great spot if you are looking to grab and go with a matcha latte, cold brew or a different specialty coffee drink. Anddddd, with all of the additional outdoor seating they have, it's pretty perfect for sitting and hanging out for a bit. They always had a few tables but set up a parklet with a few more seats this past year. I usually get their matcha lattes with added vanilla because they make them super well and there is never any matcha powder clumps. On my last visit, I asked for a recommendation from the barista and ordered the lavender cold brew latte. Delicious! And refreshing and the perfect caffeinated treat. It was sweet and so tasty and I hope they still have it the next time I drop by. The shop is super cute and has plenty of seating. I stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon and it was filled with people on laptops studying and working. They have shelves and shelves of goods, candles, coffee makers and all things for a trendy home. I had a wonderful experience with my partner. Place is really nicely decorated and a great stop on that hot day We got the lavender lemonade and chai latte. I've tried a lot of floral based drinks (rose/lavender etc.) where the flower tasted way too strong, but their lemonade was really good and well balanced. Would definitely suggest, the lavender gave it a nice colour and bitterness to balance it out. Chai latte was really good, not as iconic as their lemonade but it really good. This café is top notch. On my first visit to this location on Washington Street, I was thoroughly impressed. They have talented and friendly baristas, a clean, welcoming vibe in the café, and delicious hot beverages. We ordered a matcha latte and oat milk latte. The matcha latte is probably the best one I've ever had. I don't know what made it great, but in many other places where I've tried it, it's bitter, powdery, oversweetened, or in other ways just doesn't live up to my expectations. Bwè kafe, on the other hand, managed to nail the concentration of matcha and avoid that all too common powdery or lumpy consistency. A sip of the regular latte told me their coffee is excellent too. The latte art was gorgeous. I could easily spend hours inside the café with a good book. It has a larger wooden table in the back and several smaller ones. It feels roomy. The barista who took our order was extremely friendly and patiently answered our questions about the merchandise located near the front door. I left with the intent to visit again if I'm in the area. After visiting the Adam's St. location we heard from some regulars that we had to check out their cafe on Washington as well and it was well worth the short drive. Definitely add it to your cafe tour of Hoboken/Jersey City. This location has different vibes, but also really great hospitality/coffee. The socially-distanced line stretched out of the cafe, but the baristas kept everything running smooth as silk, and you could tell everyone was excited to grab a fresh cup to start their Saturday. Such a cute little coffee shop. This place was highly recommended by a friend so I had to try it out. It was packed at 6pm on a weekday. Seems like an awesome place to study or chat with friends. It's not loud or distracting to others studying. I was greeted right away when I walked in.
