Wonderful breakfast spot! To star off the place is beautiful, nice indoor/outdoor seating. The staff is nice and they make good suggestions. We tried espresso & capuchino with pistachio croissant and loved it! Its a family friendly establishment, and pet friendly as well.

Food lacked seasoning, but the buon santo sandwich was decent. The Chicken Caesar wrap had barely any dressing and was quite dry. Didn't taste like much honestly - wouldn't order again.

As soon as we walked in the staff was so friendly. They were especially welcoming to our dogs and brought them out pup cups! It's nice to bring our dogs in while we are on a walk and feel welcome. Not all places in Hoboken are dog friendly. They were also very accommodating to making whatever we wanted. Our first time in and we will be back for sure!!

I really enjoy their paninis and patisseries! Coffee is top notch as well. Whether sitting inside for a coffee and a bite to kick off the work day, outside for delicious lunch or simply grabbing some choice cookies with my kid Dolce is one of my favorite places to visit around Hoboken

Egg White, Broccoli Rabe, Fresh Mozzarella Sandwich - pretty good! A little bland.

My husband and I came by before church to grab breakfast, and it was so so pleasant sitting outside on a late summer weekend. Truly like a dream come true. We got an American Coffee (regular drip coffee), Egg White, Broccoli Rabe, Fresh Mozzarella Sandwich and cream custard croissant. The sandwich was a little bland but fresh and still delicious. The croissant was delicious and very flaky. Would recommend this spot! Plenty of seats inside and outside.

Place is pretty cute and it has tables , phone chargers and high top seats with window view . The pastries we tried were great but I feel like the variety wasn't good as much of the stuff was empty . I expected more options for a Sunday .

Stopped by for an early lunch over the weekend. The place was not very crowded inside and only one table filled outside yet it took nearly 20 minutes to get two sandwiches. Their prices have gone up and I don't think the food quality is as good. It said on the menu inside the cafe the sandwiches come with a side salad but the Hoboken chicken salad one apparently does not. $12 for just the sandwich seems like a lot, but it was very tasty. The panini came with a small side salad - after 20 minutes the chicken was cold. Things have definitely changed since they first opened. I prefer Alessios over here.

Nice cafe in Hoboken but not the nicest staff. Pros: they have a variety of choices on their menu that all look delicious. Unfortunately I only got to try the small sugar cookies with sprinkles and it was firm (in a good way) and good. Reasonable pricing. Cons: I came here with a friend and the kids we watch so they can have a small snack and use the bathroom on a very cold day. Upon coming in one of the staff members gave us a very rude look, like she did not want us there. It was very off-putting. The other staff member assured us it was okay we were there and was very nice. I don't think I will be returning since there are so many other cafes I can give my service to whose staff will not behave rudely to customers.

Lobster tail, sfogliatelle, and Nutella bomba

Ordered delivery from ChowNow (more money for businesses than GunHub/Seamless/DoorDash). I ordered a Lobster tail, Sfogliatelle, Nutella Bomba, fried house made fresh mozzarella, house made meatballs, house made meat lasagna, iced coffee, and a latte with almond milk. Order arrived a little later than expected but we were ok with it bc everything was delicious!!! Love that they have their own label on the boxes. Meatballs arrive cold so heat them up. They are solid, light in weight, and hold together. Nice light herb flavor. And wow! The marinara is incredible!! Highly recommend!! And we got a large quantity, 6 meatballs, for $8.75. Excellent. We will definitely order them again!! They're a nice size too. The house made meat lasagna was also excellent! Perfect size for the two of us and decent amount of meat. Again, the sauce is so so so good! Cheese perfectly melted. Price is a little high at $16 for this item but it was so good we would order it again lol. Definitely worth it. The fried house made fresh mozzarella was delicious!! Perfectly salty and crunchy with great stretchy texture of fresh mozzarella. $8 is sooo worth it!! We would definitely order them again!!! So good!! Iced coffee is good. Latte with almond milk is okay; it has a nutty flavor of espresso. I don't mind it. Prices aren't bad for them. The lobster tail, sfogliatelle, and bombs are amazing!! So fresh and soft for bomba. Wish there was more of a Nutella filling lol but it's good. The lobster tail and Sfogliatelle are both made well and have perfectly crunchy outer layers and thick creamy citrus inside lobster tail. Chocolate inside sfogliatelle. All worth it!!! We will for sure be ordering again from Dolce & Solato!!! :)

This is a great neighborhood staple that serves fresh and tasty food. I order the Cobb salad most days and it is always prepared fresh and is delicious. Sometimes I pop in for their perfect coffee and a biscotti treat. This week I took my mom there for a sit down lunch and she had the Cobb Salad and I tried their panini - chicken with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, and pesto...yummy! Both dishes were generous in size and presented nicely. They also have great outdoor seating with plenty of space with a large awning to escape the heat of the sun! The staff is friendly too but what I really love is that they have great hours. They always seem to be open when I need a place to eat out for lunch/breakfast - most places in hoboken are still only open for dinner!

Dolce & Salato has the most amazing pasties I've ever had! The donuts are incredibly fluffy and light, coated in sugar with a hint of lemon. What I love the most is that they do not skimp on any pastry filling. I've tried the lobster tails and chocolate croissants and both were stuffed with filling! I ordered their Parma sandwich for lunch today (takeout) and it was delicious! Fresh mozzarella and prosciutto on soft focaccia. The sandwich was larger than I expected. It came with a small side salad and overall the price was worth the meal. Staff was properly following COVID protocols and friendly the entire time. I felt safe and welcomed at this establishment.

Authentic Italian... As long as you order their homemade pasta. Please note that on the menu they have a specific section for the pasta they make by hand and the pasta they do not. I heard a table next to us saying something again to the positive taste homemade but they ordered from a section where it didn't say it was lol. What makes this place great is you can pretty much make whatever kind of dish you want when it comes to the pasta. They offer a variety of sauces as well. Surprisingly on this night, I wasn't very hungry and I ended up only getting their soup, which was also delicious. The chicken franchise was delicious, as well as the eggplant Parmesan. However, looking around at the restaurant, I can see the winner is the chicken Parmesan and the muscles. They seem to be very popular dishes. Not only is the food here great, but it is affordable. The only mention I will make as a knock against it is it gets extremely loud in there. This is not somewhere you want go for a date... Or if you intend on talking to anyone you're eating with and hearing what they have to say haha. That's only for the indoor section though. I'm sure outdoor is less intense with the sound. We will definitely be back!

We were super impressed with Otto Strada. We arrived early on a Friday and were happy there was no wait. Reservations are not accepted. He was also super friendly and was able to help us navigate the menu and helped me with Gluten free options. We opted for the pear salad. I got a limoncello chicken and my husband got a pork chop. All the food was super delicious. It's a challenge for me to get a good meal being gf and dairy free now and this was perfection. Chris was able to put things on the side and recommended the perfect dishes! We had dessert also which was a GF banana cake with Gelato. It was delish. My only complaint was I thought the desserts were small and a little pricey. If priced a little less, we would have ordered 2 or 3. All in all it was a perfect experience and evening, and we will be back soon! Highly recommend!

The Pizza Shop by Flour - Mexican Street Corn (~$34)

I…read morehad been eager to try their pies, as well as their full meals, but only just made it to their dimly lit, hip and happening main dining room. The space was not large, but they really made the most of it, offering a decent number of tables with reasonable space between them. My friend and I were quickly seated and immediately greeted by a charming server that opened our bottle of wine (it's BYO) and offered us still or sparkling water. I had read in other reviews that you had to pay for water, so I was not surprised by the $6 bottle of Saratoga that wound up on our bill. In addition to our engaging server and the happening atmosphere, the food was similarly incredible. We decided to order a load of things to share, so that we could try a greater variety. We started with two appetizers that were seasonal Spring additions to the menu. The Hamachi Crudo included five thickly-sliced, tender pieces of Japanese yellowtail sitting in a broth of rhubarb aguachile and topped with white strawberries and basil seeds. It was an unique blend that we would not have expected to work, but boy was it delicious! The sweet toppings infused a load of flavor into an otherwise mild fish. We also enjoyed the Fava-mole, a creamy puree of fava beans studded with balls of hand-pulled mozzarella and pea tendrils, all drizzled with zesty ramp oil. I had not been sure what to expect from the dish, but it offered fresh, bright garden flavors. We also decided to share a pasta course and an entree. The Fettuccini was tossed with spring truffles and maitakes in a light, yet heavily aromatic, wild mushroom cream sauce. It was one of the best dishes I had had in quite some time. Then, as we were waiting on our seafood entree, we received a second pasta, courtesy of the Chef. I had mentioned that I had heard rave reviews about Flour from a server at Heirloom Kitchen, a top NJ restaurant. Apparently, our waiter had let the Chef know about that glowing praise, and the kitchen further verified that positivity with the generous gesture. In fact, they wound up sending out the Linguine with white clam sauce, razor clams, and wild ramps, the other dish about which I had been most curious anyway. Well, it was another winner! It was garlicky, herbaceous, and rich with flavors of the sea. Speaking of seafood, we next received the Branzino 'Bahn mi', a perfectly cooked piece of Mediterranean sea bass with Vietnamese sausage and pickled vegetables. The branzino's crispy skin and flaky, moist interior were excellent, and we loved all of the other smoky and briny flavors on the plate. After all of that excellent food, we would have loved to try one of their appealing desserts, but we were just too full. Between the ambiance, welcoming vibe, and delicious cuisine, our Flour experience was simply divine! It has now became one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and I cannot wait to try their pizza at some point as well.

I was a big fan of both, especially the ricotta, which was so incredibly creamy. For the mains, everyone's fresh-made pasta was excellent. I ordered the Mexican street corn, which was unique, flavorful, and delicious. I also tried some of the spicy rigatoni and loved it. We ended the night with the s'mores dessert, which was rich and chocolatey. Also, the fact that the restaurant is BYOB is a huge plus! The only downside was that I lost an item during our visit. I had a really hard time finding their contact information online, so I had to go back in person to ask about it, which was a bit annoying. Ultimately, they weren't able to recover it, but the food itself was still outstanding.
