Stopped by to get some coffee to-go and loved the place! Inside was actually spacious and really looked neat. I tried their Banana Pancake latte special and it was delicious! We also got just plain oatmilk latte and brewed coffee as well as some cookies (smores, confetti) and all were pretty good! not to mention the latte arts were perfect and service was friendly! Loved that they have a separate space for little kids to play (which you pay $7 for). Im sure the parents appreciate this - having a place for coffee while also letting smaller kids enjoy. They have babycinno too! Parking can be hard as its street parking only but there are some garages available if you dont mind walking a bit. Would love to return someday for a sit-down experience.

Pretty cute cafe in Hoboken. Was walking through the neighborhood and swung by for an afternoon snack. The folks working behind the table were friendly and patient as we made our choice on what to eat. We got the matcha latte, americano, and the smore snack. Overall pretty good though apparently their cinny rolls are the star of the show but would've needed to line up before open. Maybe next time! Cute bright spot with even an area to let your children play. I'd say it's worth giving a try.

This aesthetic coffeeshop-bakery is a legend in Hoboken. They are famous for their cinnamon rolls and delicious coffees. Their "hidden gem" though, I feel is their cookies. The cookies are huge and remind me of Levain's cookies. I love that I dont have to make a trek into NYC when I'm craving for cookies. The cashiers/baristas are also always so sweet and friendly. Love that they are founded by 2 local moms and so happy to see a local business doing well.

While I haven't tried the cinnamon buns yet, I am a huge fan of their coffee creations. I recently had their fall maple special, which had a caramel latte base and a maple cold foam topping. Absolutely delicious combination. The cereal milk latte is also a fun coffee treat!

The Hive 1000 Park Ave. Hoboken, NJ 07030 Classic Cinnamon Bun If you want to get a taste of this classic breakfast treat served only on weekends, make sure you arrive 60-90 minutes before the shop opens because they will sell out! This roll was freshly made with a heaping pile of cream cheese icing on top. Grab the utensils because it's so gigantic not even The Incredible Hulk can hold it with both hands! The bun may stick to the carton, but the fork and knife will easily detach this heavenly bun!

The Hive is a Hoboken staple for a reason. Catherine and Kristin have created something truly special. The space is warm, welcoming, and always a treat. Highly recommend the next time you're in town!

Amazing and delicious. The original cinnamon roll is a must. Their monthly speciality cinnamon roll is usually good too! Their iced coffee is also delicious! The shop is clean and family friendly including a play area for small children in the back. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Please do get there early though as they do sell out of the cinnamon rolls!

Worth the wait!! Luckily my wonderful gf waited in line while I sat in the car illegally parked. We got there early, about 9am and there was already a line down the block. Even with the line in total it was about 25 minute wait. Not bad for such a trendy spot. Now for the buns. When we went the special of the week was coconut cream, which was an absolute dream. Incredible from first bite to the last. Their original was also very good. You will never want Cinnabon again. We also got a delicious cappuccino that completed the meal. Will be back.

No one does a chocolate chip cookie better than the Hive. I mean this thing is a monster. The chocolate chunks that come out of it once you bite into it are humongous. With that being said, it's a treat you can indulge in two days. It is sweet and thick and heavy but oh so good!!! I wanted to love their cold brew coffee but I am not a fan. It always tastes like spoiled milk to me. A coworker said that it's because the beans are strong ‍.

I loooove the options this place has and it's really cute pink aesthetic! The workers were nice and friendly and they had so many tasty looking pastries. I got the cereal milk latte and cheddar scone - both great. Worth coming and waiting on the line for sure.

The Hive is a lovely coffee shop nestled in Hoboken. The shop is very bright and inviting which is what drew me to the shop altogether. There is limited seating though. I feel like they have the space to put more seating but it seems intentional to not crowd the space. They have a children's play area in the back also so it is family friendly. I think the best thing about this coffee shop is their pastries. They have some amazing pastries. They seem to change often as well. It's not your usual croissant and muffin place like everyone else sells. The last pastry I had that I had no business getting was a blueberry yogurt muffin. It was huge and fluffy. I loved it, it was very tasty. Now I know they have the cinnamon buns on the weekends which I would love to try but I cannot see myself standing in line early in the morning without coffee in hopes to snag one before they sell out. One day! Now the coffee....Im a hard critic on coffee and the flavor profile of the coffee is very good. What I didn't like was their cappuccino was too big and heavy for my taste. It was heavy on the milk with a small amount of foam on top which to me is closer to a latte. I like to pick up the cup and feel a light foamy cappuccino and this wasn't it. Otherwise the staff were friendly and overall a nice pleasant coffee shop.

    Berry Cherry Cinnamon Roll

Finally got around to trying the Hive's viral cinnamon buns this weekend. My friend was passing by and there wasn't a line yet so she offered to pick it up for me. They have a limit of 4 per person, which is fine since she got two for me and two for her. I can't imagine trying to purchase a dozen of these - spending over $100 on cinnamon buns is wild. I purchased 1 regular and 1 of their special 'Berry Cherry' flavor to share with my husband. The buns are huge and smell delightful when you open the container. They were fresh, soft, delicious and huge. Both flavors were really good, but I preferred the original over the berry. When I went back to eat more of the buns later that night (way too big to eat a whole one in one sitting), I microwaved them for about 10 seconds and they tasted even better ooey & gooey. I'm so glad I got to try them without the long wait. I would never wait on a line for these but I now understand why some people do!

Wow! Great cinnamon roll worth trying. Be sure you read their website on how to increase your chances of buying them. Never really thought much about cinnamon rolls, but this one was so soft and warm with the right amount of icing and filling.

The ladies working here were so kind and gracious about it, explaining how to order the cinnamon donuts in advance and they freeze well if you order a large quantity, so I purchased an apple cinnamon caramel scone instead. I ate it the next day and it was very good. I appreciated that it was a scone and not too sweet. There are chunks of apple in there with a definitive cinnamon presence. The caramel is drizzled over the top. It would go well with coffee or tea, particularly chai. There are other offerings here and if you see the cinnamon donuts, do not pass them up. 3.5 stars, but I am certain that could be revised upwards if I sample more of their baked goods.

For food I tried the La Rustica sandwich, which has proscuitto, stracchino cheese and truffle cream on homemade bread. The bread was great and I could've had just that. Decent amount of proscuitto however the price ($16) justified that. Cheese didn't do much for the sandwich, as it was outmuscled by the proscuitto and just added a touch of cream. Truffle was similarly lost. All in all could do better, could do worse. Donut bites, on the other hand, were freaking money. Got 3 of the ones with custard and should've gotten a dozen. That made the place itself. Lots of other interesting things here worth trying. Wish I could a sandwich with mozzarella as there were plenty of others that looked good too.
