Had the steak and the shrimp dinner entrees. Both were good. The server's suggestion of the garlic butter for the shrimp was spot on!

Let's start with the mojito that came with such a large piece of sugar cane. It was so good! The waiter recommended my meal and it was delicious. The meat was tender and well seasoned. It also came with beans and rice. One meal was probably enough for two people! The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of the outdoor mall near some neat shops. I loved the restaurant decor and everyone was so friendly. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and gave great menu recommendations. The staff was attentive, stopping by to refill our water and clear plates. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We had an early reservation that they couldn't find when we checked in. They told us we could only sit outside in 95degree heat (the inside of the restaurant was actually empty?) They did seat us inside once we showed proof of our reservation... Our server was a nice guy and sweet with our daughter. We ordered the ham croquettes, ropa vieja, and fried snapper. The croquettes were OK. The ropa vieja was not good. The flavor was very one dimensional, it just tasted like tomato paste. I didn't like how they plated it - ropa vieja in a dish on a plate, with a totally separate plate for rice and beans. It made the meal feel disjointed and small. The deep fried snapper was the most disappointing. It was snapper nuggets with a (Cajun?) seasoning on top. They tasted like catfish nuggets and nothing about that dish felt or tasted Cuban. The idea of plating it with the fish bone wrapped around had good intentions but it didn't land. Does it really make sense to call this dish "whole fried snapper" if it's served as nuggets? Rice and plantains came on a separate plate and they were fine. I expected a lot more from this meal, but maybe we had an off experience.

Her customer service and attention to detail was awesome, ensuring she stopped by multiple times throughout to top off water and check on my experience. I went with the grilled Chicken breast and double side of tostones which tasted fantastic. Of note, I covered the tostones in the garlic like sauce while they were hot, which rendered them a fine combo of crunchy and somewhat soft- in short, awesome. Personally, no meal is finished without some form of coffee at the end. I admit this habit stems from my upbringing and a penchant for American, French and Italian fare but this was no different. I enjoyed a Cortadito which tasted amazing and had beautiful presentation. If I could rate this experience 6 stars I would. They knocked it out of the park. Note: They're FIU student, police and county friendly to boot.

It seems that rather than buying or ordering more Swiss cheese, they use a Kraft cheese substitute, which tastes awful. I'm ordering this item while I'm on my lunch break at work, mind you. This just ruined the rest of my shift since I have to eat this considering how expensive it was and how bad it tastes...

The empanada's were outrageous and the chimichurri that it (and the steaks) came with is one of the best I've ever had. It had the perfect amount of garlic in it. I also enjoyed a ribeye and a glass of cab sav. The steak was cooked perfectly, the potatoes that came with it were great. I mean, what more is there to say? This is a great steak house with great food and it is well priced. Service was excellent too. I'd recommend to put this on your list if you're visiting Miami and funny enough, my friend who lived in Miami, this is their favorite place to go.

This place has an energy that's hard to manufacture -- warm, lively, and genuinely fun. When Argentina is playing, it's a whole different level. The kind of atmosphere where you look up and realize hours have passed. Fair warning: it does get a little hot in there, but I'd sit there dripping sweat before I'd think about leaving early. That's how good it is. The service matches the energy -- attentive, genuine, and the kind that makes you feel like a regular even on your first visit. It's the full package. Now the food. I don't even know the name of the chicken cheeks dish, but I think about it. Whatever it is, order it. The entraña was cooked perfectly -- if you know Argentine cuts, you know how much that matters, and they nailed it. And then the dulce de leche crepe. I don't throw around the word incredible lightly, but there's no other word for it. Just get it. Don't leave without ordering the sangria either. It rounds out the whole experience exactly the way it should. Fiorito's is the real deal -- the food, the service, the atmosphere. One of those places you just keep coming back to.

AMBIANCE Parking: Dedicated lot and surrounding parking options, though it can get busy during peak hours. Seating: Plenty! Large dining rooms capable of accommodating individuals, families, tour groups, and everyone in between. Vibes: Welcome to Little Havana. It's a bit spaced out for you to experience Cuban culture. The restaurant itself gives you that classic, old-school charm with some history of the Cuban community. I dig the Cuban music giving it a nice cultural touch. This spot is no hidden gem. This is a common place for everyone - locals to tourists. FOOD / DRINKS Cubano (Recommend) Ofcourse you have to get a Cubano. Nothing too flashy but definitely gets the job done. Classic pressed bread with a satisfying crunch with a medley of roasted pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard to give it a nice savory and comforting taste. Every bite had a good balance of texture and flavor. CUSTOMER SERVICE Awesome! Efficient and experienced. They know this place serves a lot of people so they know they had to come correct. TL;DR OVERALL 5 Stars. Great selections, fair prices, and a solid cultural experience. Versailles does a great job perserving and celebrating Cuban culture. For those interested for that Cuban-Miami experience, this is the place to be. TIPS * Come hungry--the portions are generous

We always go to Chilis but it was packed so we walked down and heard the awesome live Cuban salsa music and decided to stop at La Cañita. We sat at the bar next to where the group was playing music. I ordered their signature La Cañita drink and my boyfriend ordered a margarita. We decided to share their lechón asado. The bartender was very nice and he explained the menu to us very well. The live music was awesome and had me dancing in my chair. The lechón was delicious and came with boiled yucca and fried chicharrón pieces. I definitely would like to come back and try their other menu items the next time we come to a Heat game.

They add an automatic 20% gratuity (which I don't love).
