Lovely new spot to the neighborhood! I popped in with a friend in town on our way back from the airport. We were looking for a quick spot for lunch and coffee, and cafe Vivella fits the bill! The staff were all very nice and helpful. However most of the stuff we wanted to get off the menu, they didn't have. But we made up for it by trying delicious drinks and food like the roasted tomato soup. The presentation of everything was so beautiful that I would only dine in! Stop by this new place and enjoy.

The service was nice, I've been meaning to check this place out when I had a free day. The inside is nice and cozy, very welcoming if you ask me. I got a Turkish bagel with egg, first time trying this and it was delicious. The cucumber and tomatoes were a nice add on. The coffee was coffee, just a regular iced latte but next time I'll try something more signature. But I'd come here again! Definitely with a book next time to relax, I'd say check it out for a cup of coffee.

The coffee is some of the best in the area. The in-house made Turkish bagels and pastries are delicious. This is my second time coming here and hope to make it one of my regular stops.. And you should too.

We checked out this cafe today after hearing it had just opened. They were soft-launching, so they didn't have a complete menu yet. But the kind lady behind the counter explained what was available, which included Turkish coffee in addition to your typical coffee shop beverages. There had a variety of pastries and offered samples of their chocolate biscuits which I heard were really good! I got the vanilla iced matcha latte, which was creamy and delicious. My partner said the caramel latte had a nice, strong espresso. We sat inside to enjoy our drinks since the ambience was so nice. The vibe is cozy and perfect for reading or maybe catching up on some work! This cafe is a great addition to the neighborhood.

We were looking for decent coffee after shopping in Mt. Nebo and found Cafe Vivella. Long story, short....go and support this local business! It opened a month ago, and is a lovely and super cozy Turkish coffee shop. Light jazz and apholstered chairs. Coffee and pastries delicious.

NO napkins... coffee was "ok" but TOO expensive. Cost $15 for 2 small cookies and 2 regular SMALL coffees. (W/tip cup on the counter!)

The pistachio latte is rightfully the most popular, with actual pistachio in it and a great flavor too.

Honestly nothing too special, and quite a bit more expensive than at other places in the city and in the area. The frosting was pretty good, pretty rich, but the brownie itself was fairly dry. Nothing really special about it. Portion was pretty good though. I may come back to try a few other items, but I just didn't find this place all that special.

Someone apparently forgot to…read moretell Colangelo's, which has quietly colonized an entire city block with a bakery, a connected espresso bar, house-made pastas, soups, pizzas, and enough cannoli to make your cardiologist nervous. It's less a bakery and more a culinary annexation. The pizza is the main event -- Sicilian in spirit, focaccia in soul. Square slices with a crust so airy it practically floats off the tray. This isn't the dense, bready Sicilian slab you've been tolerating at lesser establishments. This is what focaccia dreams it could be when it grows up. The linguine with clams is chock full of actual fresh clams -- a detail so rare it warrants its own moment of silence. The white wine sauce is well-seasoned and clearly made by someone who understands that restraint and confidence are not mutually exclusive. The homemade soups hit like someone's nonna has been standing over a stockpot since dawn, because she probably has. Save room -- and I mean physically reorganize your stomach -- for the cannolis and the meles, their apple-shaped turnover that looks almost too adorable to eat. Almost. If Colangelo's were any more Italian, you'd need a passport.

I believe it was sliced provolone, marinara sauce then parmesan cheese on top. Absolutely delicious! I'm so happy to be finding good pizza around the city lately! I didn't snag a baked good while I was in but they all looked just as delicious as the pizza! Service was quick and friendly. No real seating inside but there are tables outside for warmer days.
