Dubai Chocolate Brownie
Maansi S.

This is a great place to go to get a sweet treat! The Dubai chocolate brownie was delicious. I have a big sweet tooth, but the brownie was a little too sweet after a couple bites. I definitely recommend sharing it with another person!

It was nice to order from the kiosk so that staff could focus on making food. It was small inside and parking was really hard to get remotely close by but not surprising for Oakland. The ambiance was okay, it wasn't inviting to sit and stay in as a family at least. There is a little bit of outdoor seating as well. The Dubai strawberry cup was really good but super expensive ($15) so it was a one and done for us.

So fire!!!! We got it tonight for dinner (dessert for dinner woohoo!!) so so good. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted like heaven. The fresh fruit that came with everything was also great

Fast service. Cute little spot with a few seats. My kids have been dying to try the Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cups, they are generously sized. You can pick your type of chocolate (milk, dark, white or Nutella). The cups are layered with chocolate, pistachio butter, fresh strawberries and a layer of crunch! Delicious, a little pricey but they did pack it in. Would recommend as a treat!

You sure get what you pay for when you come here. The food was gorgeous, delicious, and I could barely finish the plate by myself. I'll definitely be coming back with someone to share with next time!

Super yummy place if craving something sweet! They are also open until 11 pm so it's great for those that get late night cravings! Can customize drizzle to whatever you like.

The infamous Dubai strawberries!! I got Nutella and my friend got milk chocolate. They were so good and I loved the crunch of the phyllo dough was a great addition. It was cool to order on a screen and they had sooo many options. I cannot wait to go back! It was so delicious!

Went for the Strawberry chocolate Dubai cup and I was a little taken back by the price but then I tried it and it was so delicious I ate the whole cup by myself! I wish I would have had more to eat! The boy working was so nice and he wasnt rude when I was like $15 for strawberries!! lol. It is a small place but it was clean! Cute cafe ambiance!

Detailed Review: Dubai Strawberries - 4/5 This treat is actually very good and worth all the online hype. The strawberries could be cut smaller in my opinion because most of them were whole. Also, the cup came with dome lid that I took off for the photo because generally, giving a customer a not full cup is a bad look. Overall, we were only in there to order to go but the place was cute. The woman at the counter did make a point of showing her annoyance to the customers in front of us that were ordering at the counter instead of the kiosk so we opted to go to the kiosk. Would maybe visit their other location to try something else since the parking is a pain at this location but I don't see myself spending another $15 on a cup of chocolate strawberries.

The food here was delicious! So many different delicious options are sold here, and I had a tough time deciding what I wanted. Now I understand why it's such a popular place amongst college kids. I ended up ordering the San Sebastián cake. It sounded really unique, and it was! The closest dessert I can compare it to is a cheesecake. However, it's a bit lighter than that. The texture is fantastic: creamy, but not excessively. There isn't really much of a "crust" though, but I liked that. Almost burnt looking topping but it was great. With your San Sebastián cake, you get a chance of sweet sauce topping. I decided to go with their Belgian milk chocolate. Wow, it was delicious! They give you a whole lot of sauce, too. Very creamy, and quite sweet. All in all, I would definitely recommend trying this place. The prices are a tad on the high side, but the quality is quite good. San Sebastian cake especially is exquisite!

So good. Small location, parking is rough but good for students. But staff works hard and the food is great

This place was diabetes on a plate and I LOVED IT! We got both a milk chocolate banana crepe and a Nutella and strawberry crepe. Both were bursting with fruit and chocolate and absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed our fondue plate, especially the mini pancakes. Ordering online was odd so I was relieved they took phone orders. Our food was finished quickly and the server was really nice. We can't wait to come back for waffles!

In truth,…read moreit's such a favorite of mine that I headed there straight from the airport on my most recent visit. The cool vibe restaurant is tucked away up a short flight of stairs on Filbert Street. It gives the place a cozy, hideaway feel with brick walls and murals. It's pretty popular, so you might have to wait a few minutes for a table, but it moves pretty quick. The menu focuses heavily on crepes and French toast, and they do both very well. I went for a savory crepe that was loaded with eggs and topped with a rich sauce and diced vegetables. It came with a side of fresh fruit which was a nice touch. We also ordered a sweet crepe to share. It was beautifully presented with chocolate drizzle, berry sauce, and a massive pile of whipped cream. The coffee is solid too. Verdict: This is a consistent and reliable brunch spot. It was the perfect way to kick off my trip. I will definitely be back next time I am in town.

But the star of the show for me is the Shakshouka. I have gotten it the last 2 times I went. You also have to try their Dirty Chai. My only critique is the hostess at the front. She appeared overwhelmed by her role and was not warm. We were actually told by the waiters that "she is serious about her list". Which would be great if she managed it effectively. When I brought concerns that we had been pushed down the list 3 times for other parties. She responded "well, how do you know that" to which I responded "we watched you take their names down after ours and sit them before us". Her response was to shoo me off and tell me to go find a table myself; to which I did. But what a poor way to manage your stress, responsibility, and consumers. On the bright side my waiter/waitress was awesome per usual.

The Sunny Side was a great sweet and savory crepe, with fruit, crispy bacon, eggs and cheese with the crepe, definitely would recommend and make sure to ask for hot sauce as they make their own. Only problem was that some other plates with salads had spotty and not so fresh greens. Overall, nice place for a quick crepe and would recommend for their fun crepes!

Some indoor tables and chairs were available. After several minutes, an employee brought out my tea and crepe. The strawberry-banana-Nutella crepe (5 stars) was nicely crispy, contained very fresh ingredients, and tasted delicious.
