I did not have coffee here but I had a cool smoothie; I got to pick from the fruits that they had on the counter. I chose to mix mangoes with blueberries and it tasted good to me! My friend got another drink, I think a chai or something, which also tasted very balanced. Plenty of seating and a nice atmosphere. I'm sure it would be a nice place to chill and get some work done. Found this place randomly on Apple Maps! This is a cafe in an apartment building! It's very spacious with plenty of room to do work, study, or have a little yap session over coffee or tea! My partner and I came do study/work and this was perfect! They have great lattes, totally recommend the mocha latte! And they're grilled cheese... holy cow! A hidden gem! It was amazing. Staff is super friendly and they keep a nice quiet environment for people doing work. They allow dogs of all sizes which was cute... but be mindful if you bring your dog since people are working, reading, enjoying! I love dogs but the only downside was there was this one dog that kept barking and the owner did nothing... sigh! But overall a great place I will be back soon! OH AND they have public parking right across the street! Very very convenient!! read more

Today at 6:10pm, Sofía refused to serve me a smoothie, saying they were closing in 40 minutes--while the place was still open and full of seated customers. Very disappointing and unprofessional. It seems like I just wasted my breathe, time and money. Placed my order for a muffin cut in half, toasted with butter, paid and was presented with a muffin. When I reminded the staff of my order I was only then informed that they have no way to cut the muffin in half and have no butter. I then asked for my money back and was told that only the manager can issue a refund. I then asked when the manager will be in and was told that this manager will be in at 6:30p (my order is at around 8a). So you're not listening to the order placed and you're operating the entire day without a manager around. Interesting way to run a business. read more

Cute cafe to go with friends or solo. The space is located under a modern apartment building and is spacious. There are plenty of seating areas indoor and outdoor. Outdoor seating was nice with some shade provided by the buildings. Service was prompt. Food was great- the avocado toast was one of the best I've had- it wasn't plain avocado but tasted like a well made guacamole. It was served with bacon that was cooked perfectly and two eggs which was a perfect portion for a small breakfast or snack. Coffee was delicious. Highly recommend this location. read more

I've had my eye on this place since the building opened and I noticed it, honestly I thought it would be just coffee/tea but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a full menu that includes empanadas, avocado toast, smoothies etc. There is plenty of seating at tables indoors along with couches and lounge areas, outdoors there are also a few tables along the side of the building which as parents of a newborn we really appreciated. The service was great, the staff were nice, able to answer questions we had and even brought the food outside to us. They have a nice selection of teas which could also be had iced, they have smoothies and a lot of other things. I had the avocado toast which had bacon and poached eggs on top, there is also some chili powder on it which makes it a bit spicy, I also had the guava and cheese empanada which was great, I had one of the teas on the menu iced which was great as well. I like this place and will come back, the only downside is it can be pretty pricey. read more

I had the pleasure of being able to grab a cappuccino or flat white from this little cafe almost every day while recently staying in New Rochelle. The baristas were very attentive, friendly, and generous. We tried the empanadas, drip coffee, cappuccinos, and flat whites. Of the empanadas my favorite was the beef version, but the ham and cheese and chicken were also delicious. The residents who live in the apartment complex directly above the cafe are very lucky to have such a great coffee spot at the doorstep. read more

Nice and pleasant place to have a cup of coffee. Capuchino was good. I'm a fan of almond croissant and the almond-apricot croissant it's delicious. This time 4 stars as I was planning to eat empanadas for lunch and they didn't have empanadas anymore by 1pm. When I am in the area again will check more options(if available). read more

Cafetero is an amazing coffee shop in downtown New Rochelle. It's located in the lobby of a new apartment building right off Main Street. There is a paid parking lot right there across the street but if you are strategic with timing, you'll find a spot on the street without an issue. The interior is so swanky! Lots of cool art work, most of which is available for sale, great selection of pastries/snacks/bottled drinks and ample seating. I almost forgot to mention that the coffee was great too! read more

I stopped by to try out this space. The ambiance is super airy and clean. Modern furniture and great lighting. I was able to sit and get some work done. I LOVE that they have outlets near the tables so I was able to work and plug my laptop. The service was good....the girl at the register was accommodating. I paid $15 for a regular iced coffee and hand and cheese croissant. The croissant was OK- nothing spectacular. I will probably revisit this coffee shop as it's super convenient to work out of. 7/10 overall rate. read more

We had two dirty chai lattes and wow... they were pretty friendly as well. We absolutely loved the modern yet serene environment. Cute little spot, I am here now and ordered the chicken empanada and a regular coffee. I like my coffee with French Vanilla and almond milk; the coffee was okay, nothing to write home about. The empanadas were questionable, they seem microwaved. I would return back for the coffee and that is about it. This is a quaint spot for a quick assignment/workplace. When I first arrived, I was acknowledged, and told "I'll be right with you" It's Saturday I am in no rush, so there I am waiting 3 minutes, I notice a lot of people coming in and looking for seats, I think to myself, let me claim my spot. When I go to claim my spot three people jump in the line, and magically all the cashiers are back to work. while sitting here, I noticed this happening more times than just for me. Service would be a place to "work on". The line is pretty steady, there should be a solo cashier, who is there. I know it is hard for business' to get this right, but there has to be a better way. Service makes the difference between someone wanting to spend their money here versus a shop around the corner. They also lost a little on those empanadas :( I may return and do an update. read more
