My husband and I have been to this restaurant several times and the food has been excellent. The owner is wonderful--very attentive and gracious. The bread is delicious and the food quite authentic. It's a small restaurant nestled in the Miromar Outlet Mall. It's down the corridor where the Japanese restaurant is located and past the furniture store. Dear manager, please train your wait staff on how to properly serve a bottle of wine. Our server brought the bottle, did not show us the label, struggled to open it, proceeded to fill everyone's glass without a tasting sip, and then dripped wine on the table and the bottle. What a mess. The food was very good, although your menu or server should indicate that the panini is not pressed on the grill and is served at room temperature. The pasta was al dente. Nice portion size for the price. Bill had a surprise: credit card fee! Not uncommon these days, but if it was stated somewhere, such as on the menu, I missed it. read more

What a find in the outlet mall. Excellent fresh pasta and an interesting wine list. Michele is from Puglia so not a lot of cream in his food. His Amatriciana and the Casarecce were authentic and very tasty. We also had the artichokes as a starter. Definitely worth a return visit. It's in a quiet section of the mall and has a few tables outside. It was pleasant to watch the people go by with a nice breeze blowing through. This place was such a gem. We wanted to just do a bit of shopping while visiting FMB and found this outlet mall. Got hungry and stopped at this place and I must say the food was outstanding. I work in FB world so I was very pleased with the quality of everything. Only knock I'd give was it too an extraordinarily long time to check out. I'm normally a very patient person bc of being in the business but the waiter obviously forgot about us while dealing with tables elsewhere and we sat for quite a while. What a nice surprise! Authentic homemade Italian! Owners are from Italy. All pastas are homemade. Interesting little wine list, caprese was fresh. Al dente pappardelle w bolognese, yummy! White organic wine from Abruzzo region. Hubby had arabiatta pasta n meatballs w nice Sangiovese. Cannolis n prosecco with table side Tiramisu. So fun, wonderful espresso n mascarpone art. A great ending to a great experience. Its in Miromar Outlet next to H&M. Private outdoor garden for al fresco dining. Kind servers, relaxed pace. Rosa from Amalfi was our server, sweet gal. My husband and I had been to Caffe' da Michele before. It was excellent the owner took his time to spend time with us. After he found out I came from an Italian family and my husband was an executive chef, it was like being part of his family. So needless to say we were excited to have the time to go back this past Saturday (1/27). We went in for an early dinner/late lunch. We weren't actually greeted but only asked how many in our party and if we wanted inside or outside. We said inside. We were seated. No menus and waited for over ten minutes for someone to acknowledge us. The place was empty. I would have understood if they were crowded. Finally, a waitress comes over with the menus and takes our drink order. I had regular water and asked for lemon. My husband asked for a coke and water. We received our drinks but no lemon. Not a big deal. We order our food. We waited for over forty-five minutes for my ravioli and his linguine with meatballs to come out. The ravioli were just ok as was the linguine with meatballs. There seem to be no flavor or happiness put into the food. It was quite sad. As of this point other people were coming to order and be seated. It seemed like the staffed was burdened by having to wait on guests. No one ever came to check on us or offer me more water. At the end we weren't even offered offered dessert!! I doubt anyone will reply to this review, I have read similar reviews and no has responded to those either!!! Hopefully, if you go Chef Michele will be there!!! read more

We had a wonderful meal on a quiet, cold Sunday evening. The homemade pasta is outstanding! My partner had the linguini with meatballs, I ordered the pappardelle with bolognese. Both were excellent! The bread and olive oil, delicious . Our server was great; the charming owner came to the table to welcome us and offer any information about the menu and good wine available. This is a small place but has outdoors seating as well. it can be hard to find, so look for the Caffe near H&M, close to Corkscrew Rd.. I highly recommend dining at this gem! read more

I had 5 layer vegetarian lasagna in which the layers were paper thin and the filling was delicious spinach. fresh ingredients and my friend ad linguini with meatballs. all pasta made right there, so we had to wait 15 minutes which was no problem as we had grilled artichokes delicious and Cesar salad. highly recommend! read more

Unassuming, but wonderful. restaurant is small and cozy. great Italian wine selection. loved the calamari and caprese. we split the linguine with meatballs which was delicious. all noodles are homemade egg noodles cooked perfectly Al dente. we overhead the server telling the table next to us the lasagna is also homemade and takes 25 minutes to make. it came out and was very large and looked delicious. service is relaxed, so visit when you're looking to slow down. read more

This restaurant is difficult to find in the Miromar Outlet mall maze. It is tiny, seating about 30 people, elbow to elbow inside, and a few more outside. The lighting inside is BRIGHT. I did not enjoy the lack of ambiance at all. However, Leo, the owner, directed us to a Chardonnay-type wine that we did thoroughly enjoy (~$40), and the calamari appetizer is THE BEST ever--crispy, not heavily breaded, and TENDER! That dish was the highlight of the meal! The caprese salad was good, not great, with a delicious sweet balsamic vinegar drizzle. Leo says all pastas and sauces are made in-house, and the pappardelle pasta tasted like it, being perfectly tender with a nice mouth feel/"bite." The bolognese sauce on the pasta was quite good, not great. My husband loved his swordfish with a tomato and anchovy sauce. The website doesn't show it, but they offer three fish entrees: salmon, swordfish, and branzino. The tiramisu dessert is deconstructed and assembled table-side: 4 lady fingers that are slightly crispy are topped with a lovely rich, thick sweet cream sauce, a bit of brandy, and powdered cocoa/chocolate. It's very good, not great, and not like whatever you've had elsewhere. I'm not sure I'll return since other restaurants offer great food with more variety on the menu, good wine and more variety, AND ambiance and more attentive/better-paced service (there's only Leo and one other person, so service lagged at times) for our nearly $200 bill. Oh, and take cash or be prepared to pay a steep (~$7) service fee to use a credit card. read more
