If I could give this place one star I would. Overpriced terrible Italian food. The meatballs tasted like microwaved frozen meatballs. My pasta was literally just boiled noodles and one piece of sausage for 30$. I've also never had a bad ceaser salad because I LOVE ceaser salad but this was AWFUL! This is the First time at this restaurant located in an Outlet Mall/Department Stores in Estero, FL Service is a disappointment. Staff does not understand or communicate basic english, thus the orders were a mess. Prices shocking-worst than NYC. For two people the bill came $156.57 with the following break-down. One bottle Pellegrino sparking water $7 Two glassess of Chardoney Olilla @24 Two Minestrone soups $36 ($18 each, even in NYC this is not the case) Two Ravioli all' Aragosta $64 (was told comes with salads on the side, however it was only with tomato can sauce), basic ravioli like in a fast food place. Not at all Italian in content and presentation. If we bought ravioli in supermarket and made it home, it would be way more tasty. Two Machiato charged as espresso $6 One Tiramisu shared $10, which indeed were 4 ladies fingers covered with expreso and cream on top in our presence and sprinkled with cacao, nothing as standard tiramisu. It saves a lot of effort and material, thus they make more profit without providing the food that can justify $10. Hope this helps the public to understand where are they getting to. Nestled in the Miramar Outlets next to the New Balance outlet store is the best new restaurant opened 3 weeks ago. The owner is amazingly humble and gracious . Coming from Italy , he lovingly prepares homemade pasta, sauces, breads, dressings and his restaurant is open to all who enjoy fine dining in a casual atmosphere. Saw lots of families and couples. We had a great meal topped off with tiramisu made table side. The spaghetti bolognese is to die for as is the chicken Milanese. Leo , our server , was gracious and kind as was the whole staff. You want to eat here not only because the food is stellar but the people who run it are too. Lovely interior, nice wine selection, great music and a sense that the owner and the staff really appreciate your presence.. It's a small restaurant nestled in the Miromar Outlet Mall. It's down the corridor where the Japanese restaurant is located and past the furniture store. Dear manager, please train your wait staff on how to properly serve a bottle of wine. Our server brought the bottle, did not show us the label, struggled to open it, proceeded to fill everyone's glass without a tasting sip, and then dripped wine on the table and the bottle. What a mess. The food was very good, although your menu or server should indicate that the panini is not pressed on the grill and is served at room temperature. The pasta was al dente. Nice portion size for the price. Bill had a surprise: credit card fee! Not uncommon these days, but if it was stated somewhere, such as on the menu, I missed it. read more

What a find in the outlet mall. Excellent fresh pasta and an interesting wine list. Michele is from Puglia so not a lot of cream in his food. His Amatriciana and the Casarecce were authentic and very tasty. We also had the artichokes as a starter. Definitely worth a return visit. It's in a quiet section of the mall and has a few tables outside. It was pleasant to watch the people go by with a nice breeze blowing through. I work in FB world so I was very pleased with the quality of everything. Only knock I'd give was it too an extraordinarily long time to check out. I'm normally a very patient person bc of being in the business but the waiter obviously forgot about us while dealing with tables elsewhere and we sat for quite a while. My husband and I had been to Caffe' da Michele before. It was excellent the owner took his time to spend time with us. After he found out I came from an Italian family and my husband was an executive chef, it was like being part of his family. So needless to say we were excited to have the time to go back this past Saturday (1/27). We went in for an early dinner/late lunch. We weren't actually greeted but only asked how many in our party and if we wanted inside or outside. We said inside. We were seated. No menus and waited for over ten minutes for someone to acknowledge us. The place was empty. I would have understood if they were crowded. Finally, a waitress comes over with the menus and takes our drink order. I had regular water and asked for lemon. My husband asked for a coke and water. We received our drinks but no lemon. Not a big deal. We order our food. We waited for over forty-five minutes for my ravioli and his linguine with meatballs to come out. The ravioli were just ok as was the linguine with meatballs. There seem to be no flavor or happiness put into the food. It was quite sad. As of this point other people were coming to order and be seated. It seemed like the staffed was burdened by having to wait on guests. No one ever came to check on us or offer me more water. At the end we weren't even offered offered dessert!! I doubt anyone will reply to this review, I have read similar reviews and no has responded to those either!!! Hopefully, if you go Chef Michele will be there!!! read more

We had a wonderful meal on a quiet, cold Sunday evening. The homemade pasta is outstanding! My partner had the linguini with meatballs, I ordered the pappardelle with bolognese. Both were excellent! The bread and olive oil, delicious . Our server was great; the charming owner came to the table to welcome us and offer any information about the menu and good wine available. I had 5 layer vegetarian lasagna in which the layers were paper thin and the filling was delicious spinach. fresh ingredients and my friend ad linguini with meatballs. all pasta made right there, so we had to wait 15 minutes which was no problem as we had grilled artichokes delicious and Cesar salad. highly recommend! read more
