We arrived early for our 5:30 pm reservation and were seated quickly, but it took about 15 minutes to be acknowledged after being seated and another 15 minutes to order drinks and food. The restaurant wasn't busy until around 7:00 pm, yet our food still took 45-50 minutes to arrive, and we went close to 40 minutes without hearing from our server while waiting. Our total time in the restaurant was over 90 minutes. The food was good but not standout for the price. We ordered the pasta alle vongole and gnocchi Lombardi...both were fine, but not worth the wait or price. The staff appeared stretched thin, and we didn't see a manager or receive any check-in during the meal. Given the experience and value, we unfortunately won't be returning. read more

A fantastic dinner with a friend here last week! I haven't dined here since before COVID and it was long overdue. Simple, calming aesthetic in the restaurant - open kitchen/bar concept. A smaller establishment which makes it feel cozy but not cramped. I was craving Veal so had to go with the Veal Milanese - out of this world! Great portion size, citrusy and bright tasting. Well cooked and not too much breading. Fresh parm, arugula, and tomatoes on top - a winning dish. My friend had the Crab Linguini special - absolutely loaded with fresh crab meat and shrimp. Flavorful, light butter wine sauce. Our server was attentive and kind - left us alone to chat and catch-up but there when needed. Our server was very prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. She recommended a nice Chianti for our group of three couples, which was quite tasty. It went well with the delicious bread and olive oil dipping sauce. The food was presented nicely and within a reasonable amount of time. The group ordered Fettuccine Bolognese, a Chicken Parmesan special, Capellini al Pompodoro, Cannelloni Romagnoli and a Tilefish special. Exceptional everything: food, service, experience. On a whim we ended up going there on NY Eve, because I had such a hankering for charred octopus. However, due to the holiday there was a special menu with multiple delicious choices, but no octopus:(. Because the place is absolutely amazing and the Chef is checking on his clients on regular basis, and we were sitting by the bar (we didn't have a reservation as it was a last minute decision) - I got a chance to mention my strong desire for the regular special I was hoping to experience - and voila! The Chef made a small serving of charred octopus, off the menu, just for me! i could have not gotten a better experience and a present for my birthday and new year celebration. thank you! read more

Food was very good but when I got the bill everything we ate and enjoyed now left a bad taste in our mouth. Mind you there was four of us and we spent with tip an average of $125 a person. Not cheap especially when you're just eating pasta. But what got to us was the nickel and dime by this establishment. Charging us four dollars for bread, which was automatically brought to the table and the bread was just basic. To make matters worse they charged us a 3% credit card fee which we were not aware of until the check came. We go out to dinner a lot and most upscale restaurants do not charge this fee. I owned restaurants in the past and our credit card fees were figured into the cost of doing business. I would give this place four stars, but I deducted one star for the bread charge and one star for the credit card charge. read more

Bad experience, excellent food! I had a verified reservation for 8 of us made 2 weeks ago. The restaurant oversold their seating and did not consider our arrival. The 8 of us were left standing in the doorway for 50 minutes. An offer of a beverage would have been nice? The waitress Tatiana? Was wonderful. 1/2 hour after ordering one of our party was told they were out of his dish, unacceptable further. We finally received food about 2-2 1/2 hours after our reservation. Amazing food for those of us served. It was a special birthday and they brought a pie with a candle, lovely. They charged one of our party $11 for this. Come on! Offer a little something for all the mistakes of the evening? It's just the principle. Some extra bread? An appetizer quickly to get us through our wait or hunger? It's the little things. No special efforts were made to ease the bad experience. Please go a little beyond for committed large parties and not try to squeeze in extra guests to maximize sales. Thank you. I've bookmarked Osteria Celli for more than a year. We've been driving by Osteria Celli thousand times. Finally, we have the opportunity to sample Chef Marco Corricelli's culinary skill. Osteria Celli is located by Summerlin Road and Winkler Road inside a Publix shopping mall. The restaurant has a good vibe with an open kitchen and a cool rustic motif. Wine and Food Specials are scribed in a large board! The menu is two pages, one for wine and one for food. The food menu is not that extensive. However, what ever food they make, it is a class by itself. There is good selection of wine and beer! We started off the night by sipping a Super Tuscan Pievasciata, a nice rich, full body blend red wine. A small basket of hot crusty and soft bread accompanied with a mashed olive dip was wonderful! For appetizer, we shared the Polpo or charred octopus served with a herb potato and aioli. It was well prepared and cooked just right. Wife ordered her Fettuccine Bolognese with fresh house made pasta. It was tasty and served in a man side portion! The fresh house made pasta made this dish so good! I have the "House Special", Cioppino, that came with mussels, clams, shrimp and branzino! The dish is so flavorful, that I could not stop dipping my bread into the seafood soup! We were so full and decided not to have dessert! Our server is friendly and professional. Chef Marco is doing an excellent job here. read more

What a wonderful surprise! I stopped to pick up a Carvel ice cream cone with sprinkles, but then I saw Osteria and thought I might just have to try it. I'm so glad I did! Have visited Osteria Celli during busy time of dinner, did not have reservations. We were sat at the dark table around the corner - had to use our phones to read the menu. Seemed a bit strange. Service was slow, almost like our table was an afterthought and didn't have a regular assigned server. Once we were able to order, drinks often remained empty until repeated requests, food was dropped off without checking back - would have loved cheese.... Even getting the check required asking several waitresses to finally have ours come by. Overall service was severely lacking, but food was good. Will likely try again at some point, but this experience was disappointing, dare I say wild. read more

We had a super delicious dinner Wednesday eve at Osteria Celli. I'm Italian and this is the real deal as far as Italian goes, they make their pasta(fettuccini, pappardelle, angel hair) in house. We didn't have reservations but it's open seating at the bar. The environment is lovely but I would image that when it's a full house it's probably pretty noisy as it was only 3/4 full on a Wednesday eve and it was loud. Certainly not going to keep me from returning though. This place is sooooo yummy, my only regret is that I found it on my last night in town. read more

You know you had a unsatisfactory meal when the best part was a can of coke. We were really looking forward to going to this place and it was quite the disappointment. From the reviews, it alerted us about the appearance of the place, but we only rate on food. First we had the squid ( calamari). It was rubbery and tasteless. Next up was the Burrata and it was rather bland. Finally we had the Branzino and that was so fishy tasting that it was offputting. The tomato sauce that it came with was very very tart, which just made things worse. The service was fantastic and the place was so clean, so there is that. It was dinner time and we arrived for a nice night out. Walking in the decor is warm and the lighting is dim. To start out they give you bread with a dipping sauce. This is an olive and garlic based sauce. I don't like olives but this was great. The garlic had a real punch. I got an app of the calamari and meatballs. The calamari was super tender. Not chewy like the fried rings you get everywhere else. The meatballs were soft but not amazing. A little on the plain side if you ask me. My main course was the gorganzola gnocchi. These were like little pillows. So soft and tender. The only negative is the gorganzola. Maybe a little to much because half way through I was have a gorganzola overload. read more

Great food and wine combined with attentive service. Be aware that you will be charged a 3% credit card fee. I wasn't aware of the fee until the bill came, it was an unwelcome upcharge of over $7 to end what had been a great meal. My opinion is that if they will charge a credit card fee then they should either tell you that up-front when you make the reservation (so that you can bring cash) or they should have an ATM right in the restaurant to give surprised patrons a convenient way to pay cash. I recommend this restaurant, but respectfully advise the owners to be more up-front about the credit card fee, or build it into your prices as a cost of running a service business. I am OK with paying an extra buck for a $32 pasta dish, but not with a $7 credit card fee. read more

This restaurant is just out of this world! I've eaten here toward half a dozen times. Wait staff is beyond friendly, the food is both delicious and always served hot. Their soup of the day is extraordinary. I visited Christmas Eve with three friends and again on my birthday recently. My sister was visiting and I wanted her to experience just what I was raving about. Though these visits are my first, I understand Osteria has been in business a while, and that is very understandable. The only thing I'd change is the way reservations can be made...I never get to talk with anyone. I leave a date and time and number of diners in my party and assume if I don't hear back, the reservation has been accepted. I'd like to talk with someone when trying to reserve a table. I give this spot 2 stars for the awesome staff that was buzzing around all night. The food was a 0/5. Our meatballs were extremely dry. We only ate 2 of the 4. The bread and oil was great but thats tough to mess up. I got linguine alle vongole. It was extremely dry and salty. The person with me got eggplant parm, we asked for a side of pasta with it, that came out 15 minutes after dinner was served. They claim the pasta is fresh made in house. If it was, it was made a few weeks ago and not stored correctly. Staff was excellent but I would never come back for the food. read more
