The soppressata, fresh mozzarella and cherry tomato sandwich with broccoli rabe, and pressed and hot.
    Philip C.

I first spotted this place while walking through the concourse from Penn Station to Prudential. It's a coffee and sandwich shop, but I think of it as the Sophia Loren of coffee and sandwich shops. Yes, it's THAT sexy. The first thing that caught my eye was the sign for illy Coffee. They serve illy Coffee! And they know how to make it properly, despite being geared toward the walk through pedestrian market. The second thing that caught my eye was the big pile of sautéed broccoli rabe next to the grab-and-go pre-made sandwiches. When I asked about it, I was told that it's never bitter and could be put on any sandwich. Now, I'm not a grab-and-go kind of eater, but I've since had two different sandwiches. They can be eaten fresh and cold or pressed and hot. I can tell you that the eggplant parm and the soppressata mozzarella sandwiches, both with broccoli rabe, and pressed and hot, are delizioso. Don't just walk by Caffè Margherita. Stop, have a coffee and enjoy a panini. You won't regret it.

Tasty, friendly, clean, and quick. Ordered an chicken n mozzarella salad with balsamic. In and out in 5 mins with a fresh tasty salad. Could have had some more of the star ingredients, but otherwise totally fine. Plenty of options from salads to sandwiches to hot food.

Great little place in Gateway. Coffee is nicely made and tastes great. The main reason to come here for me is the gelato which was outstanding. They have sandwiches which I have not yet tried. I hope they succeed as the Gateway is a tough place for business. Office people are gone by 7 which is why everything closes early.

    Delicious breakfast!

We are staying at the Hilton Penn State hotel and we were looking for breakfast and this place looks very nice and clean and is about 1 min walking distance which is so close! The food and staff is outstanding. We had this every morning for our whole stay. Not only is their breakfast delicious but their coffee is super good too! Definitely recommend this place. If I could rate this higher I would. I wish I lived here so I could come here everyday.

Two floors with the main floor having tons of bar stools, Tabes and a lower nook area with a larger table and some couches. Upstairs offers a long community table with window lounge seating bright and even whimsical with a lovely floor to ceiling book case. Menu offers snacks, small bites and more substantial meal options. They also do a happy hour special beginning at 4! I opted for a dirty chai (5/5) and scrambled egg and cheddar sandwich (5/5) both were delish! Appreciated the side salad as well! If you're looking for a spot to work, meet a friend or enjoy some time to your self reading a book definitely check it out. Staff is friendly, noise is reasonable and not disruptive, space is bright and open. Free WiFi. Plenty of places nearby if you wanted to try another spot for food. The only bummer is the Parking. There is street or nearby parking lot but street parking was full even at 9:30 AM the lot is covered but $5 for 2 hours and up from there.

I immediately stopped on the Vietnamese restaurant with almost a perfect rating at 4.9 stars and 500+ reviews. I'm equally excited, and skeptical. NY/NJ residents aren't the easiest to win over. I walked maybe 6 min to the restaurant. It was a nice sized store front with a well lit dining room, and self and full service kiosk. I was immediately greeted by the staff, I chose to do self serve. Even with that, I still felt very welcomed and engaged once I placed my order. All the items were displayed, and looked fresh. The staff carefully put together a teriyaki salad bowl, and pho for me in about 10 minutes. Once I got the food to my hotel room, I was genuinely impressed. The Pho was so rich in flavor, without being too salty. The noodles were the perfect texture. 10/10. A few hours later after the gym I cracked open the salad bowl. This was referred to me by the staff vs the lemon grass chicken. I am glad I listened, the amount of tender juicy chicken is impressive. The crispy lettuce, and robust tomatoes were a great combination of healthy, and hearty. Bahn & Bo deserves the accolades it's earned, and the one I made up at the beginning. Pro tip: The prices are so good, and so are the portion sizes. If you are looking for fresher, lighter, healthier, skip the Chipotle and Qdobas around the corner, and come here.

Happy to see their success in this area because I don't think there's any pho restaurants in the immediate area. We stayed despite the crowd, ordered on the kiosk and waited a bit for our food. Given how busy it the staff was trying their best to keep up. The place unfortunately does not have many tables but we were able to grab one. The food and bubble tea were delicious! The lemongrass pork was so flavorful and tasted authentic. I would absolutely return if I'm in the area but be prepared for a possible crowd especially before an event

The ambiance is cheerful and inviting, it transported us to a warm island day for our brief stay. It seems there was only one barista working that day and she was very helpful, patient, and friendly. My husband ordered the Cremas Latte and oh my god I wish I got it, it was so delicious; creamy, flavorful and sweet. I ordered the iced toasted almond "hot" chocolate, it was a very rich dark chocolate taste with the amaretto flavor coming through nicely. It was not overly sweet which I enjoyed. I think this is how hot chocolate was meant to taste and I'll be curious to try it hot. I also appreciated that there was some of my drink that didn't fit in the cup, so the barista gave it to me in another cup. My son ordered a Golden Mango Smoothie- he loved it! I love that it has turmeric in it, I felt good letting him have this drink. We also got some snacks. We ordered the Haitian beef patties which were very authentic. You get two per order which was a nice surprise. My son wanted to eat all 4 from our two orders. We also ordered a mini chocolate cake which was decadent and moist and a mini key lime pie which was refreshing and delicious! It was really nice being able to go to a Haitian cafe. My husband and son are Haitian and we enjoyed teaching our son about his culture while he can enjoy treats made with imported Haitian ingredients and recipes. He also enjoyed looking at the art work which prompted him to ask my husband more questions. I only wish there was better parking, especially for us out-of-towners, but I know that is hard in a city.
