I found the spot where the laptop folks hang out. Ten or so, most set up with headphones. One woman was so set up in her "office" that she was having a loud Zoom call! This was at 9am and at this point, there weren't many tables left for people to sit with a coffee. I do this. I have sat in a coffee shop with my laptop for hours. But if I look around and see that most tables are taken up and there's no room for paying guests, I'll move along. These folks weren't doing that. As for the coffee? Went in for a quick pick me up. The cafe is gorgeous and very cozy. Plenty of space! I order a Matcha Latte with half a pump of strawberry. I saw the barista pull out a premixed Matcha so I was no longer interested :( while I didn't enjoy my bev, the barista was really kind. This has become a frequent hangout spot for my friends and I because of its proximity to work, the comfortable atmosphere, and great drinks and snacks. We have been meeting here for bible study in the evenings for the last couple weeks and everytime we go, we find a very cozy table. The only downside is that the inside space is on the dimmer end. But in the warmer months, they do have outdoor tables if you're looking for natural light. There is a water station, which I like to use before making up my mind on what to get from the menu. So far, I've tried their iced strawberry and vanilla matcha and cinnamon roll. The iced strawberry and vanilla matcha was good and it was nice to watch the barista prepare it with so much detail. It was on the sweeter side especially after mixing everything together. I did realize that by the time everything is mixed, the matcha flavor is diluted, and the drink tastes a lot like fancy strawberry milk. The cinnamon roll doesn't look like much in the glass case (in fact it looks dry). But once its warmed up and you taste it, everything changes. The bread has a croissant like consistency, where it's buttery and flaky, just firmer. Since the bread is not as sweet, the frosting is and taste like a cross between butter cream and cream cheese. I wish it did have more cinnamon. I'm not sure if they already have this but it would be cool if they had board games to use or even rent out. They also do have a private meeting room you can reserve. The parking situation varies, where some days/times it can be easy to find spots and other times you might need to drive in circles - but that is expected with a plaza with so many popular options. Came here on a Sunday afternoon and it's very busy-- very long line and most tables are occupied. Got a pumpkin spice latte but they were out of the pumpkin spice syrup -- even though that's the drink they're advertising outside their doors and on multiple signs inside. Instead they said they had Maple Spice (once I asked what other fall drinks they had), which I didn't see advertised anywhere. Service was friendly. I didn't like that there was no food menu anywhere and no prices on the food items displayed, so I didn't end up getting anything for myself. Coffee good, snack good, ambiance: why the hell has this Caffe Nero at Legacy Place, Dedham, had its interior heat so high? I was there yesterday at about 4 pm, and a week ago at about the same time. Both times the temperature was oppressively hot. After opening a small chocolate treat, my girlfriend and I noticed that the chocolate was melting....! I mentioned the high heat to one member of the staff, and she just shrugged my complaint off, saying corporate controlled the heat. Is that true? My estimate on interior heat was close to 80 degrees F. This issue raises a concern about food safety and temperatures of food storage areas. Furthermore: The lamps in the restaurant are covered in dust...this place needs a cleaning! A complaint will be made to the Dedham Health Department. read more

Cafe Nero has become a workplace for quite a few folks and they most of the seats and leaving customers no place to sit and enjoy pastry and beverages. What a shame. Very cool location and nice ambiance but sadly the service and coffee was horrid! The line wasn't that long but we ended up waiting over 30 mins to order a coffee and a latte. I ordered the caramel latte with an extra shot, I watched the barista fill the iced coffee cup full of milk to almost the top of the cup..... managed to splash those two mini shots in, the coffee was flavorless and basically a tall glass of milk, I tasted zero caramel. My moms coffee also filled the rim, tasted burnt and just yuck. So $16.00 down the drain I ended up throwing both away. I'm confused really I never seen baristas prepare a latte this way. They started to serve alcohol too but nobody really knows how to even serve it and they don't have many wines even in stock, and some employees are not authorized to pour alcohol so it will be another added 20 minutes. read more

Long line of people. 12 oz canned seltzer drinks about $4, spring water about $3, small yogurt parfait consisting of plain yogurt, a couple Tble of granola and a few cut up strawberries $5.50. Sandwiches were premade and just lying in a case (which did not appear to be refrigerated). My husband's order was made wrong (entirely wrong item prepared) and had to be redone. I asked a question about the sandwich I was going to order (regarding condiments) and the barista confidently answered but then had to go double check because she wasn't sure if her answer was right. After paying for our food there were no seats available inside or out because people were just sitting there. Excellent service, the staff is always so friendly and fast. They make it feel like they're enjoying giving out the quality stuff they're serving. Never had a bad thing on the menu. The coffee is some of the best around, I love the mascarpone and prosciutto sandwich and would get a coffee here every day if I could. Donuts and all of their sweets are great. This is a review for all the Caffe Nero's I've been to. One of my favorite places to grab a light bite and/or get some work done. They have ample seating indoors, great wifi, and outdoor seating. Coming here is like going to the an old library-- the decor is made up of vintage and antique looking furniture and there's books everywhere. Lots of people will be diligently working from their laptops here, but I usually never have any issues finding a seat. I haven't had any drinks here, I usually get a blueberry muffin which is always soft and on point. They have also sandwiches and lots of pastries here too. You can rent out their private meeting space at the Dedham location for $50 per hour, one hour a time. The meeting space seats about 10 people and you have to make the reservation in person. My only suggestion for the Dedham location is to add some umbrellas for shade. If someone from Caffe Nero with power is reading this: PLEASE BUILD SEVERAL LOCATIONS IN THE SOUTH SHORE of Boston. read more

There are several seating areas: an indoor air-conditioned area with sofas or dining tables, outdoor tables and benches for sunny days, and a sheltered open-air patio with sofas for cool summer days. The coffee is excellent. I have had lattes and frappes. The frappes are not the icy-like texture you would find at a Starbucks; it's silkier like a creamy nitro cold brew. Caffe Nero is an Italian coffee chain. It is super high quality compared to a Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts. They have many food and drink options. If you are vegan I also have noticed they have a lot of vegan baked goods. The interior is super cute and relaxed. Great place to sit down and get some work done. This place is really cute and it was actually quite calm and quiet when I went. I ordered a small caramel latte with almond milk and a regular mocha latte. The barista was a bit slow with the order and almost forgot the caramel but was really apologetic and nice. The mocha latte is not that sweet (barista said it was but we just gave different definItions of sweet). I added a stevia when I got home and all is well. They also have a food menu but we weren't hungry. I think this place is best for working as the noise level is low for a cafe. They had jazz playing in the background so I would still need my headphones. Five stars for the ethos but three stars for the coffee. read more

My number 1 Caffè Nero! First of all, they are located in Legacy Place, very popular place with shopping area, cinema, bowling and etc. Secondly, they have very professional staff. Sometimes they hire new guys, but the quality stays at the same level - excellent. Interior is on top. There are a lot of tables with outlets, free 3 hours Wi-Fi (but without YouTube - reasonable). An awesome space to be sure. I could spend days here hanging out with all the books. We had two mochas to go. Without checking the volumes of the drinks, I ordered small for both of our drinks and was somewhat surprised by the smaller than expected cups of coffee we were given. I was equally surprised at the relative cost of said coffee. Our drinks were quite good, so it's not that big of deal. In Norwood for business and I popped in here to avoid horrible hotel coffee. It did not disappoint. Friendly staff and the latte grande I ordered was fantastic as was the apple cider donut and vegan breakfast roll. Great atmosphere too. This chain blows Starbucks away.
