Stopped by this caffe on a cool and drizzling Sunday morning. This establishment is located at the Legacy place in Dedham. When I first walked in, I notice the warm and cozy environment filled with books and comfortable seating. I order the white chocolate mocha latte (grande) and a chocolate chip scone. The latte was not too sweet and delicious ! The scone was moist on the inside and pretty yummy ! This is a nice and chill place to hangout ! The ambiance is warm and nice !! I would definitely visit this place again whenever I am in town! There is plenty of parking. read more

I used to love this place, but it's gone down hill. 3 points why: 1. It's always dirty, everywhere. Seating, bathrooms, and sugar counters always dirty (even when it's slow in the morning). 2. Rude service, they yell across the counters, and act "inconvenienced" by you. 3. Coffee and food was not that good, expensive and not well made. For those, that like other milk options, you can have whole milk or almond. That's it. Over all I love the atmosphere, but it's now no longer worth it to me and I do not recommend. read more

My Cappuccino was lukewarm at best. My husband's coffee was cold and the server was less than happy to be there. The restroom was dirty and the area where you fix your coffee was disgusting. This place needs a good bath. Never again! read more

So glad I finally was able to visit this super cute coffee shop! The line was literally to the door when I walked in. I ordered a caramel latte and it was absolutely delicious! The vibes were super rustic and relaxing. Lots of seating available. Great place to do work, hang with friends or go for a coffee date. I am a heart patient and really appreciated the friendly baristas working on making an iced decaf americano that tastes good without trying to charge me an arm And a leg for needing decaf. Some stores want to charge significantly higher prices for adding shots of espresso so that the taste approximates an iced cold brew. This is not fair to heart patients so I really appreciated their effort without any attitude and with a friendly smile. The cafe interior is truly beauty and outdoor seating area was clean and attractive. Bathroom was tidy. Great experience all around! read more

went to the one in Arlington and had a great experience, so was really looking forward to replicate the last visit. this location's decor is the same as the other, very cozy, conducive to chatting with a friend or working alone. the line accumulates at times but disappears just as quickly, one would not need to wait more than 10 min to get served. service was ok but what happened (twice) resulted to the 3-star rating. first time i was at the counter I ordered a flat white in my cup, even showed the guy when i said it and he seemed to acknowledge it. then he went on doing his things without taking my cup, and i waited. moments later my drink appeared in their disposable cup unexpectedly. thought maybe i spoke too softly or he was too busy (i was in a line that time). before i left i went to order a regular coffee for the next day, tried to use my cup again. this time, it was acknowledged alright. but for forever reason, coffee was first poured into a disposable cup then re-poured into my cup, and the disposable cup was thrown away without a second thought. do you think i brought my cup all the way over here just so i can feel like a hipster??? i was trying very hard to do my part on reducing waste, guys! and you really are not helping. one strike, maybe an accident. two strikes, it's a pattern. brew coffee should be the easiest thing to pour into a personal cup, and yet you managed to screw it up. that's really sad, Nero. you're breaking my heart. and oh, while your other specialty coffees are delicious, that brew coffee sucked. read more

Met the most pretentious store owner. I'm not a pretentious consumer but now i feel obligated to be. Walked in with dunkins in hard work flow. immediately opened my laptop to start working deep in phone calls. the manager, came over to yell at me (i didnt hear him because i was on work calls and he decided to disturb me mid call pointing at the cup aggressively. I simply moved it to the floor. He came to me again when my call was over to further double down to say i had the audacity to finish the coffee and "this is a business establishment". Then when i was leaving the bathroom was blocked so i couldn't access the bathroom. I of course, purchased a coffee in light of his negativity. Maybe i was wrong to bring different coffee. but I'm clearly a coffee drinker, and i clearly needed the space. To come yell at me mid workflow and then double down is pretentious so here i am writing a pretentious review. Don't work there if you don't need to, they want you to throw away your money, they wanted me to immediately throw away my full coffee and build their pretentious brand. He came to disturb me mid call and again then afterwards and I repeated to him several times during our second conversation, "I'm sorry, I'll buy a coffee." He keeps repeating "no this is just for future knowledge" and I was left thinking so why did you feel the need to disturb mid call then after with disciplinary tone if it's "just for future knowledge". this was at legacy place. read more

Came in today, and waited in line. The male server appeared to have intentionally skipped over me multiple times. A female server asked me to wait at the the last register. When i got there, another server told me where the line was, at which point I mentioned that I know where the line is, that I was skipped over twice and then asked to wait at the last register. Not her fault and she apologized, but it's just frustrating when a server looks at you twice and intentionally ignores you. read more

This is a nice place to hang out for a while if you have some work to do say on your laptop or something. I like the loyalty card thing where they punch it every time you get a drink and eventually you get a free one. That's fun. Not to crazy about the food espec the vegan stuff. Everyone else seems to like it though. You can always grab a cookie anyway. I like the variety of seating options. If you are not in the mood to chill in one of the armchairs sort of at the corners then there's maybe a spot at the small boothy/loungy section or maybe at the long wooden table or maybe even at one of the 3 or 4 individual partitioned off solo booths. Went to Caffe Nitro after visiting the ICA. I had a hot cider which was very tasty, and a turkey and cheese on a croissant that was pressed and heated. Very tasty They also had fresh squeezed orange juice that was good. Next time I go to the ICA I will definitely stop here again and try something else there's. read more

Unfortunately, hate giving 3 stars. I have been going to this cafe for years and spent lots of money. Yesterday, I basically got kicked out. The barista told me I've been there for 2 hours and they have a limit of 90 min. I looked around and there were plenty of seats still available for other individuals. I didn't realize they are keeping tabs on people. It is a bit weird. I am a student and we spent many of our hrs studying in cafes. There are plenty of other cafes I can go to where I don't need to be on pins and needles being worried if I will be kicked out. read more

I have been coming to this location for over a year and the latte has always been great, however, two days in a row the latte is horrible. I notice new staff (and each time it's the same new person making my latte)- maybe they need to be trained or retrained on how to make the latte correctly because it is so AWFUL!!!! I had a bad experience here when I went to pay for me and my friends' drinks and the lady at the cash register charged us for an extra drink. When we confronted her about it, she said "This is why we don't do this" (charge more than one person's order on one card) I don't understand why something like that is so hard to do.... what bothered me the most was her bad attitude when SHE was the one who made the mistake. Coffee quality is great. Staff is very friendly and prompt. The coolest part of this place is the decor.

The coffee used to be WAY better. If I wanted lower tier coffee I'd go to Dunkin (not to sound like a snob). The former employees knew what they were doing coffee was great and they always did well. Now I pray that one girl isn't working there when I go because she ALWAYS messes up my coffee. I asked for a vanilla latte once and she made the coffee without vanilla. I watched her make the cup. When I asked her if she put vanilla in the coffee and she blatantly lied to me. I am a daily customer there and I'm now just looking to go to Big Bear because their employees are ruining it. read more

Obviously the look of the place is what sets it apart from all the other coffee shops. But actually, I found the espresso coffee notably tastier than any of the espresso places in the area. That is an almost nutty-chicory type flavor to the coffee that's very mild but gives their espresso a pleasant note that typical Italian roast coffees don't have read more

Trendy spot in Legacy Place. Very busy on Fri around 10:30am. Tuna sandwich good, light on the tuna but nice touch with arugula. The barista made an iced green tea for me, but I was disappointed that it came in a plastic cup considering I ordered the drink and food for there. Invest in cold beverage glasses! Love this atmosphere. It's my go to location when I need to study or get work done. Drinks and food are on point. My only issue is that the staff eat and gossip where the patrons sit; usually up at the bar area. It's kinda unprofessional and a bit of a turn off. Otherwise, this location is awesome. read more

I'd wanted to stop in at Caffe Nero for the longest time and finally had the chance on Sunday. I love the decor. All the old books just speak to me. The couple seated behind us were reading poems from one of the book to each other! How cool is that?! The line was long but went fast and we ended up getting an iced amaretto coffee and a fig and brie sandwich. The coffee was perfect. Lovely flavor and you could taste the caffeine so not watered down at all. The sandwich was pretty good. A bit hard but the fig and brie combo was delicious. Me and my sis went in tonight close to closing time (when employees are usually up tight and eager to leave), and our two servers turned out to be extremely gracious and friendly. The cafe at Legacy recently opened and I love it. The interior has a great vibe, very welcoming. I got the bacon and cheese on a croissant which tenured heated. It was really good. Husband got an egg tart and said it was really good. Pastry looks amazing and I will get another visit. I am not a coffee drinker but I think I will also try the hot cocoa as that looked really good. It wasn't too crowded for a pre-holiday Sunday morning. I like the seating on the patio but it was way too cold for that. read more

A great and much needed addition to legacy place. The coffee selection is vast, they have a range of breakfast and lunch options (yogurt, overnight oats, fruit, baked goods, frittata, sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, soup). They have a cozy ambience with tables and sofas and coffee tables and chairs. The walls are lined in books. The staff is friendly and welcoming. It could be a little quicker and more buttoned up, but they just opened so I'm sure they'll get to 100% soon! read more

This cafe is just what Dedham and Legacy Place needed! The atmosphere is just wonderful. There are couches near fire places and cozy arm chairs along with places to work and even 2 conference rooms! The space is totally clean and welcoming and has a home-like feel .. if you happened to live in a beautiful library room with amazing coffee.
