No matter how long it takes me to finish my drink, if the ice all melts or I drink it quickly, it tastes delicious. I just wish they had better food. I don't love how greasy their croissants and sandwiches are. I wish they had better breakfasts or served food with protein that was less oily. I don't think I've ever enjoyed a sandwich I've gotten from here, and I swear I try them at least every other month. The vibes totally make up for their gross sammies and are my favourite thing about this place!! I love coming here for a reading date or to craft and yap with friends. It feels like such a community oriented space and I love getting to enjoy it with my friends. I just wish they were open later than 6pm.

The California Eggs Benedict came with grilled onions, which I absolutely loved. (You don't see onions typically in that dish.) Hash browns were meh. My favorite however was the avocado crema that came with the Breakfast Quesadillas. Creamy and flavorful-- they made the quesadillas sing. Quesadillas were scrumptious-- chock full of scrambled eggs, veggies, and green onions, this one is going to be on our repeat menu . We loved it so much that the person who served gave a complimentary cup to go as we were packing the leftovers. On that note I must say that the service was warm and attentive. We came on a weekday for brunch and were amazed to see how full it was. There was quite a bit of wait for lunch hour so this tells me how popular this place is. Ladro used to also carry Ellenos yogurt and I loved being able to buy a local brand, but recently they switched to a different distributor and the one time they had the new yogurt in stock it didn't compare. They haven't had yogurt in stock since and honestly I don't love their croissants (too oily), banana bread (no chocolate chips), or croissandwiches (again the croissant texture sucks). Please bring back Ellenos, or have better food, I want to be able to have breakfast when I come here with my friends.
