Unfortunately, we don't live close enough to be able to get their coffee during the week, but weekends are very doable. The coffee and service are excellent, and they have some nice baked goods too. I might give them a fifth star if their baked goods were a bit more varied and interesting. But we don't come here for pastries. Came here two weeks ago, and even though there were about four baristas working, my drink took forever. Several people who ordered after me got their drinks first, and I somehow ended up being the last one served. The place is cozy and there are plenty of seats if you want to sit and work on your laptop. However, I don't think it's the best place to catch up with friends because you can pretty much hear everyone's conversations. I ordered my drink extra hot at 180 degrees, and it was good, but the service was just too slow. I can go to a local coffee shop down the road and get my drink much faster. read more

Since discovering this coffee spot last year, I've been coming here often to hang out with my friends and I love the cosy atmosphere, and friendly baristas!! Alicia is my fave and she totally deserves a raise I usually get a 16oz iced oat milk mocha which is always made exactly the way I like it. Today I decided to get it hot and it tasted incredible, I love that Ladro is sustainable and does for here orders in ceramic tableware! Ladro used to also carry Ellenos yogurt and I loved being able to buy a local brand, but recently they switched to a different distributor and the one time they had the new yogurt in stock it didn't compare. They haven't had yogurt in stock since and honestly I don't love their croissants (too oily), banana bread (no chocolate chips), or croissandwiches (again the croissant texture sucks). Please bring back Ellenos, or have better food, I want to be able to have breakfast when I come here with my friends. read more

Above average coffee places. The ambience here was great and the place was busy. I personally didn't try any coffee but tried there smoothie. I had a strawberry banana smoothie and it was good. Maybe the strawberry used were more on sour side so that made a smoothie a bit sweet and salty - still a experience though. read more

Pretty average to low quality with questionable ingredients. Tried the chai latte and The coffee thief (frozen latte) and both were terrible. This coffee shop has a really nice ambiance -- calm, relaxed, and plenty of seating so you don't feel cramped. It's a great place to slow down for a bit. The coffee itself was smooth and well made, though the prices are definitely on the higher side. I have to start with this, I didn't have coffee, but the place smelled delicious and definitely had many coffee options. I'd had my morning dose of caffeine so I opted for a cold prebiotic beverage. Service was excellent and friendly. The inside was large and clean with a huge coffee condiment counter. If I'd seen the smoothie menu I would have gotten a smoothie. The breakfast burritos in the cabinet had labels next them that indicated they were not made on the spot. The quiche looked delicious, so I had a slice. They heated it up in an actual oven, not the microwave. What a concept. Plenty of seating ion an outdoor patio. The patio could use a pressure wash before summer. My opinion. Casual spot. This is my local coffee shop and I love it. The staff has always been very kind and I haven't had any trouble using alternate milks in any of my drinks. I'm trying to work my way through the coffee menu to try new things and it's all been good. I haven't tried much of the food (dairy intolerance is a bummer) but the vegan berry muffin is delightful. There is usually a combination of people working and just hanging out, so things are casual and the noise doesn't get too crazy. When the weather is nicer there's outdoor seating as well. If there is any downside at all, it's that I find the Medici at the Pike Place location to be much better. I also stopped ordering it for awhile and the things I've had since are all good, so maybe it's time to try again. read more

Coffee Shop in Issaquah Highlands. I stopped by this spot last Sunday, and it turned out to be the only coffee shop open in the area. Street parking was available, which made things convenient. When I walked in, there were already a few customers seated at tables and a small line of people waiting to order. The menu offers a good selection, including coffee, teas, frozen blended drinks, and a variety of pastries and pies. I decided to try one of their barista favorites--the pecan pie latte. The ambiance of this place really stood out. It's cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind on a relaxed weekend morning. I could imagine it being especially charming on a rainy day, with a warm cup of coffee or tea in hand. The latte was absolutely delightful. Although it took a little longer than expected to prepare, the flavor was rich and authentic, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I did feel the prices were on the higher side--over $7 for a tall latte seemed steep to me. A quick glance at the menu revealed similarly high prices for most drinks. That said, I really enjoyed the overall experience and would recommend this place for its atmosphere and quality beverages, even if it's a bit of a splurge. read more

A little corner of peace in Issaquah Highlands! I know this is a chain store, but every time I hit Issaquah Highlands, I try to stop by to get a mocha. Raspberry mochas are my baseline drink at every new coffee shop and they pulled out a stunner on this one. Their coffee is so smooth and delicious and the atmosphere is upscale industrial. I love that they have local art on the walls and that they switch it out frequently. read more

Fabulous! The servers work so damn hard! I love their coffeeeeee! Wow! The guy making the coffees always goes the extra mile! He's AMAZE! The pumpkin spice latte is real and authentic... At least it taste that way. I don't feel there's any artificial flavors in it. The reason why I gave it a four star is the ambience could be a little better. It's really loud, hard to get a table, but the food is so delicious and the coffee is outstanding. I love the southwest breakfast burrito. And the croissants are so delicious. The quiche is fabulous. It's 1000 times better than Starbucks! I wish they didn't close so early. This would be a great coffee shop for the evening... I stopped by Friday after an eye appointment next door. I had the lavender honey latte. It had barely any flavor and found myself not wanting to finish my cup. It was $5 for a tall and I maybe drank half of it which is a first for me. My daughter had a strawberry Italian soda which also lacked flavor. She's had them before there and I think they just didn't put enough syrup in. It tasted like fizzy milk that was pink. No bueno. Last but for sure least the two gals that worked in there were less than friendly. I tried making small talk and they both acted like they didn't have time to talk to me and be friendly. I won't return here anytime soon. Would give zero stars if Yelp allowed it. read more

Hi there, I went in to get something to eat for breakfast. They had limited options outside of pastries. I got a muffin. The checkout would not work unless I entered my phone number. I did not want to enter my phone number since I am not a regular. They tried to reboot the checkout system multiple time. The only way ended up working is when I put my phone number in. Hands down worse coffee I have ever gotten at the highest price ever paid. Asked for a Breve and she said as Latte or an Americano. So a bartsia that doesn't know what a breve is? The cashier and bartsia were not that friendly and seemed to think I was the stupid one for asking g for a breve. Look it up simple it's basically a latte made with steamed half and half instead of milk, any bartsia should know this. Got a 12 oz triple shot Americano with white chocolate and steam cream and a 12oz was supposed to be an Irish cream breve ended up being a single shot Americano with cream no flavor. shots were not pulled well tasted burned. Total cost 17.84, no tip added. Can you explain this cost? Never again. read more

There aren't many people that get things here so the customer count is low. However, the staff was amazing and the coffee we got tasted amazing too! Would recommend! The latte and the blueberry scone were delish as well. read more

Great vibe inside and out. Indoor seating has padded chairs. Very comfy for a sit and enjoy your coffee and pastry. Nice outdoor seating as well with 4 top tables and some wood Adirondack chairs. Great spot. I'm commenting on the seating because you are gonna wait here for your coffee, 15-20 minutes on a normal morning. Clearly understaffed as I've only seen two staff members at a time, one taking orders, one making drinks and everything else. Just be prepared to relax. You can't be in a hurry. Have a pastry, the are outta this world good. Coffee is average, mocha I had today was not too mocha. Guessing I got a latte or maybe I looked like I needed mocha light!!! The food and drinks are good, however, I find them to be overpriced. I mean, $7.50 for a single unexcwptional quiche slice?? With tax + tip getting a 12oz drink and basic pastry is $15 which I think is way to much. The service can also be slow. Staff are nice. They sell out very quickly and in the afternoons there are times the food case will be fully empty when I've dropped in afterschool. Coming back from a rather adventurous morning at snoqualmie pass, a friend fell pretty bad and had to be carried down by the ski patrol, we went to the Swedish hospital ER, and while waiting we decided to have lunch at MOD pizza an coffee at this caffè ladro, which I was pleasantly surprised to find here. Once again my favorite chocolate espresso cake was sold out, they should make more! Great neighborhood coffee shop in the Highlands. Japanese barista guy makes the best drinks, but all are good & friendly. Their baked goods (zucchini bread, banana bread, cookies) are all much better than Starbucks. I love the oat milk mochas here & enjoy their vegan berry muffins are so good. Good place to work during weekdays. They also sell Hario coffee filters at good prices. I wish they upgrade their payment system, too many button pushing lol, hand sanitizer. read more

Slow slow slow. Unless you want an afternoon pick me up don't expect to be able to get a coffee in a decent timeframe. If there are more than 3 people in line don't bother as who has ~30min to sacrifice in their morning routine?? As I stood there looking at the menu(figuring out what I wanted) The person standing there rolled their eyes twice. Why waiting for me to figure out what I wanted was such an issue is beyond me. I then paid over 9 dollars for a terrible latte. I don't know why places like this hire some of the most underperforming people. The ones who act as if you walking into the place bothers them. I've spent many hours at this Caffe Ladro, and I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that it's my favorite Ladro location! I love this location because all the coffee beverages I've had have been good, and they're usually also pretty! Foam art makes me happy. I love that rice milk is an option! I don't like soy milk, so at most places I usually just stick to the default milk option. I love that it's big and the wifi seems to always work. The ball/bubble lights hanging from the ceiling are also pretty cool! I love that the music changes all the time. Sometimes I end up listening to headphones because I need to focus or because I don't like what they're playing (can't quite handle two hours of Beyonce!), but... I still like that the baristas seem to have power over the music. I love that there's a little pond and walking trail near-by. When I visit earlier in the day and don't have much/any work to do, I usually grab a beverage here and go walk around the pond. I've loved the pastries I've tried and am so happy that they now also have salads and sandwiches! I used to have to get breakfast elsewhere before coming here to get some work done (on my laptop) because I sometimes don't want pastries for breakfast. I love... the view. I'm not sure why. I think it's because it's on a hill or something. I love... that there are sometimes cute dogs outside?
