By far one of the best coffee spots in LA. The owner is very passionate about his coffee and only serves the best. I've tried their latte, matcha, and their Americano, and have loved all of them. They balance the sweetness in their drinks well to let the coffee itself stand out.

I'm a coffee snob. Today I tried something I've never had before... Colombian coffee with flavors of orange blossom and ginger and toasted coriander. Absolutely mind blowing!! Glad I was able to pick up some whole beans to make at home. I've never had anything like it. YUM!!!

Just WOW!!! I live in the IE and drive to Highland Park for this greatness! Daniel is awesome! He takes great pride in his craft with his ingredients and techniques. Not only is this coffee amazing, but it's just overall great quality. I also bought some stickers which I get so many compliments for, then I tell them that it's the best coffee in town!

Amazing drinks and super friendly! Easy 5 stars! I first heard of Caffeinecide from seeing videos of the owner preparing delicious looking drinks on instagram. I happened to be driving by today and stopped in. You can tell they have a real passion for what they do and want to share that with others. I wish I got pictures of the drinks but they were so good it completely slipped my mind and they were done before I could snap some. Highly recommended!

Coffee amazing Coffee is strong , none of that watered down business . Daniel is every passionate and you can see that as he prepares your coffee , my go to is definitely the Signature coffee, whenever he has the mazapan top , it's the best combo

The vanilla latte was fantastic. I ordered mine with oat milk and no cold foam (contains dairy). This latte is sweetened with oat condensed milk and piloncillo. All in all, it was refreshing, not heavy (for a latte) and not too sweet. With tip, it came out to about $8. Parking: not a problem here, ample space in the 99¢ store parking lot.

I've been dreaming of their matcha since the very first time I've tried it definitely had to come back for more ! I live 30 minutes away and definitely think they are worth the trip

    Daniel was the best.

Support small business! I am always down from a great coffee and this business does not joke about it. They use a locally roasted woman owned espresso to make their amazing espresso vanilla oat! Vanilla syrup was the real deal. I pick up on too sweet, and the vanilla still allowed the espresso to stand out. I barely made it off the parking lot. I almost made a u-turn to come back and get another. But instead I enjoyed the iced match vanilla oat. it definitely hit a nice refresher during this warm fall day. Matcha taste forward. Definitely come out to admire and support the hustle.

I had to come and support a brand new local small business! I ordered the matcha + oat milk, along with vanilla latte both iced and they were delicious! The matcha had a good aftertaste. The espresso was not acidic. I enjoyed the vanilla, no artificial flavors here. In addition to three stickers, it all cost $18. They accept cash, venmo and zelle The owner Daniel and his homie Ricky were chill. Daniel has a real passion for coffee and it shows. This is a mobile pop up so just look for the espresso sign and/or SUV with an espresso machine in the back. I'm definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu! Shop small, support local!

I'm Here WEEKLY. This is delicious coffee, not much a coffee snob but it hits all the marks of caffeine, flavor, and quick customer service. A small operation, that packs huge flavor and great service. I'm pretty picky about customer service and value, this is bulletproof from my perspective. The owner is kind and attentive and makes time for small moments with his customers. Love that you can see exactly to whom your money is supporting, and price point is perfect for both community price point and quality of product! A+

Finally made it out to support this guy and his hustle! Not only was his coffee absolutely delicious but him and his staff we friendly and quick. Watching him do his thing was actually kind of cool. Can't wait to see what's next for him

I always drive by this little spot and finally decided to try it today--so glad I did. They had a good amount of customers, but orders were coming out quick, which I appreciated. I asked for a recommendation and Daniel ended up putting me on while also talking about his love for espresso and the whole process behind it. You can tell he really cares about what he's serving. I got the vanilla iced coffee with oat milk and it was sooo good. Definitely coming back to try the strawberry matcha. S/o Daniel & Ramona for being so sweet

I tried the - Miel Cream Top 9/10 -Mango Coconut Matcha 9/10 -Espresso Black Sesame. 8/10 The black sesame espresso was definitely the standout, it was so unique and unlike any espresso drink I've had before. The mango coconut matcha was refreshing and really good, and the Miel Cream Top was a fun treat too. They also carry pastries from Cake Monkey, which is always a win, and have a nice selection of breakfast options like burritos, sandwiches, granola and yogurt if you're looking for something more substantial. Next time I might just give myself a mini little portrait session with those walls and that atmosphere.

Very little coffee shops sell them, so when I saw it on an online menu, I knew I had to visit. Coffee was fruity, sour, slightly smoky, lingering astringency and bitterness. The cream on top was light in sweetness. Overall it was okay, but still disappointing. It wasn't a smooth espresso, flavor was all over the place. Wish there was more contrasting temperatures of the hot espresso and cold cream on top too. Coffee beans were Brazilian, Guatemalan, Sumatra, Medium-Dark Roast Coffee. The coffee beans were lightly roasted. ICED MATCHA LATTE WITH MATCHA CREAM TOP Wanted to try their matcha as they really advertised Nami Matcha on their menu. First time trying Nami. Super light on the sweetness overall, hardly any honey or agave in their matcha drink. Matcha was grassy, a bit floral, a bit of sweetness in the matcha, a bit of astringency and bitterness at the end that lingers in your mouth. A lot of things going on, yet there was more of an aftertaste of astringency with bitterness at the end that wasn't pleasant. So strange that the matcha flavor was more on the lighter side, since I did add matcha cream top as well. However, I liked this drink more than the espresso con panna. But I would not reorder both drinks. AMBIANCE + SEATS A bit dark and moody place with dark ceilings, wooden chairs and tables. There were a lot of tables and it was packed today! The only available seats were the benches on the side. There were small tables, so I was able to place my drinks there. It is a nice place to hang out. Lots of points for the ambiance. CUSTOMER SERVICE It was good, staff was nice. It was packed and busy, yet they were nice about answering questions and making sure that everyone got good service. PARKING There is street parking, but even when I went on a weekday, it was difficult to find parking. There were neighborhood parking too, but it was far easier to park closer to the streets than in neighborhood street parking due to many tow away signs and private parking signs. I am open to revisiting although the drinks I ordered were not home runs. I felt there were more coffee or matcha drinks to try and their menu intrigued me.

Here are some of the key highlights: * In addition to the 2nd location in Downtown LA and a sister coffee shop Loquat Coffee in Cypress Park, the same owners also opened Fondry Bakery in 2024, a coffee roastery called Quat in Glassell Park in October 2025, and a 2nd Loquat location in Silver Lake in December 2025. * Still no private parking lot and the two public parking lots are still your best bet (5033 Lincoln Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90042 & 1311N N Ave 51, Los Angeles, CA 90042). Otherwise street parking is available. * Still no indoor seating with only few small outdoor chairs and a tiny table. * Our party had the Hojicha Latte (half-sweet $6.50) and Matcha Latte ($6.75). Personally, I strongly discourage anyone from getting the half-sweet option as it made the drink taste a bit watery. The Matcha Latte had full sweetness and it tasted about right, but it was still not as good as some other matcha lattes out there. * No public restroom [Conclusion]: A nice coffee shop to stop by while visiting the boutique shops on York Blvd. Decent matcha drinks, but I still prefer matcha drinks from various cafes in Koreatown if I want something on the next level.
