I found parking on the street, it wasn't too bad at all. It looks like they have a couple of spots behind the café, if you're lucky. I love this set up, there are so many places to sit and sip, gather, work, study. The plants make this unique café shop, gorgeous! It's like everywhere you turn, there is more seating and more plants. Inside the café, you can find merch and a small menu. The barista and cashier were really friendly and helpful. I went with the wildflower iced latte. The cashier said it was a good choice and I also asked someone in line. I thought it was delicious. It could have had more flavoring, but I definitely can tell that the ingredients were of quality. I also walked around and looked at the plants. Another big bonus of this place is they are also dog friendly! They have a large back patio of artificial grass. I was nervous she might pee on it, but she did not. Besides the friendly staff, my first visit to Rock Coffee was lackluster. The coffee was OK and the environment was not inviting, so I basically wrote it off. Fast forward to March of 2026... I saw Rock Coffee was under new management and hosting a weekly game night on Wednesdays. They have made some major improvements. The large work space had been upgraded with plenty of tables, comfortable seating, and good natural light. The coffee quality had markedly improved. It looks like they have a brand new espresso machine and the staff has clearly been trained on how to use it properly. One of the best espressos I have had in LA. I now spend more time there at various times of the day and the space acts like a little community center for the neighborhood. A chill space for hanging out with friends or getting some work done.

Personally, I strongly discourage anyone from getting the half-sweet option as it made the drink taste a bit watery. For customers who are new to halo-halo or to the shop, a little guidance can make a big difference. We spent about $23 for two items, which is reasonable if it comes with a welcoming experience. Good food brings customers in the first time, but great customer service is what keeps them coming back. I'm giving this place 3 stars because the halo-halo was good, but I hope the owners focus more on greeting customers and creating a friendlier atmosphere.
