Impressive variety of offerings for Sunday brunch buffet
    Kerri C.

There was a bit of a wait when I visited for Sunday morning brunch. Nothing excessive, however. I was truly impressed by the expansiveness of the buffet offerings. As you can see, I had no problem loading up my plate with an exciting variety of items. The standouts for me were the potatoes, the roasted tomatoes, and the corned beef hash. The fruit topping for my cottage cheese was also delightful. Although I didn't have any, the fresh honeycomb slab was a nice touch. A server came over to offer us coffee. Beyond that, we didn't need anything else. I would definitely return.

Waaaaaay expensive for hardly any food options. Not the best quality either. Seriously, we felt tricked after eating and getting the bill...... but we're not rich, so maybe this is normal

What a creative menu! We actually had the buffet, and it was fantastic! In addition to the buffet, they do offer an a la cart menu. Like I said, the buffett was fantastic. A few of the more Creative items were the egg white bites (They reminded me of the sous vide offered at Starbucks.). There were also a variety of chia seed puddings and oatmeal flan! There were, of course, the brunch standards like made to order fresh omlettes, waffles, and bennedicts (no French Toast). There was fresh coffee, juices, and as an extra treat SOREL!! Of course, lots of fresh fruit, dried cereals and an oatmeal & grits bar with add-ins. And just to put an exclamation point there was toast and bagels with customizable salmon and schmear! Definitely on my wish list to go back

This is on lower level and seemed to be open only for breakfast. That said, the buffet had some unique selections. Very nice egg white frittatas, great grits, an oatmeal flan, lox, and a selection of meats. This is a bit on the pricey side, but expected in a post-pandemic resort. The coffee was a bit weak. Be sure to ask for conventional discounts which may be sizable and apply to you.

Came in for a buffet breakfast this AM. Gotta get that bacon. Yum. Yum. The eggs this morning were warmer than they were when I came in last. I understand it's hard to keep all the food hot when it's buffet style, so I don't fault them too much. Bacon - delicious. Sausage - happy. Eggs with cheese & butter - yum! Service was fairly quick. A little louder today because there were more people but it was good overall.

Had the Christmas Brunch. The service is excellent. It is immaculate. There was an Asian bar including dumplings and sushi, a salad bar -make your own or specialty salads that were delicious. The was a seafood area cold shrimp, oysters, ceviche. A seafood dish like paella, carving stations with turkey-I didn't like the texture-and prime rib. Soups, or dishes. An omelet station. A pasta station. Pastries and an ice cream station. I am sure I forgot some things. Our servers were fantastic and friendly. Unlimited mimosas. We have been here a number of times over the years, some on different holidays. Christmas seems the best. It is pricey but a nice treat.

This is a lovely, albeit pricey, restaurant located on the lower lobby level of the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel. I came here for breakfast, by myself, planning on having just a sandwich and coffee. The waiter informed me, thankfully, that the price of a sandwich and coffee together would only be a dollar or so cheaper than the full breakfast buffet ($18.50) that included hot, cold, fruit, pastries, omelet bar, coffee(!) plus fresh squeezed OJ, etc. Well, what do you think I did? Yes, buffet, here I come. I tried to have a tiny bit of everything but failed miserably because there was a LOT of stuff on the bar. Never did make it to the omelet bar, it was very popular and busy. Everything I did try was delicious. (See picture.) (Not pictured, I did go back and grab a couple of tiny pastries. Also delish.) The coffee was amazing. Had multiple cups. Just the right temperature and half & half cream provided on the table. What really thrilled me was they had an OJ machine - a real one. I haven't seen anything like that since I was a kid. They put the oranges in the top bin, they rolled to the bottom, and when you put your glass under the spigot and pressed the button, the inside turned like a waterwheel and squeezed the oranges and it filtered right into your glass. Squee! So yes, it was a bit pricey, but I enjoyed every single bite and had a lovely time. The waiter was very pleasant and didn't rush me at all.

Food was decent. For whatever reason a lot of the meats seemed to be dry and over cooked. Waiters and waitresses were all very nice. Food could have been better, none of the food seemed to be hot enough and wasn't bursting in flavor.

Convienent location inside the Rosen Shingle Creek. $19.50 for lunch which is a fair value given the nature of the place. Great service but mandatory 18% tip. All the drinks cost money except for water. $2.75 for ice tea with unlimited refills. Orange juice is $5.50 per which is overpriced. Staff doesn't really mention the cost of refills by the way. Overall a fair value very tasty food be careful of the cost of drinks.

    Wil L.

Horrible food. Look at my Benedict! Never asked for water. OJ glass sat empty. I wanted to send the food back but waitress never came. Spend your money somewhere else.

Tons of great options if you're looking to eat some fresh and healthy. I ordered the Wok bowl and although it sounded like my cup of tea, it didn't taste like it. The bowl itself looked delicious, and the rice and chicken were both actually warm to my surprise! The rice itself however was a little hard and the chicken was a bit bland. I wish I would've asked for the sauce on the side or maybe added some sauce to my chicken to give it more flavor as all my sauce ended up on the veggies and really didn't enhance absorb the peanut sauce (which was great). I will say this bowl was packed and honestly offered a good amount of food for the price (~$14 to 15) I would definitely give this place another chance because there were definitely other items that caught my eye. After spending a day at a theme park and eating their options, it was nice to "clean" your body out with a good and healthy salad. Located on Sand Lake road near Publix and multiple eateries, this place has a wide selection of salads, sandwiches, and a limited selection of soups. Ambiance: 3.5 Stars The place was clean and has plentiful seating. Ranging from bar style or bench and tables. It is Deli style when ordering. Go to the back and select the type of salads, rice / couscous, soups, or sandwiches. There are pre-fixed options or you can build your own bowl. The eatery was clean, open and airy. Natural lighting was pleasant with the large front windows. It would have been a higher star rating for the ambiance, but the bathrooms needed some work. Though it was clean and roomy, there was no soap and limited toilet paper. Staff: 3.5 Stars Deli The employees were friendly and professional. Our server assisted us with questions and our selections. However, with the middle Eastern dialect and his ability to speak at a rate of the sound barrier, he had to repeat a few times for us to understand. Note: His patience was much appreciated. Food: 3.75 Stars We all chose several different salads. Three were pre-fixed and one was customized. 1. Shanghai Chicken Salad - 3.5 Stars Roasted chicken, edamame, scallions, almonds, cilantro, red cabbage, romaine perfectly paired with miso sesame vinaigrette Contains: Nuts, Soy I chosen the chopped romaine leaves as the base. It was light and flavorful from the dressing. However the chicken was a little bit overcooked and dry. The condiments were plentiful and fresh. Though it was good and had protein, I felt somewhat satisfied. I could eaten another bowl. 2. Chicken Shawarma - 4 Stars Blackened diced chicken thigh, kale, hummus, baba ghanoush, pickles, Israeli salad with Greek yogurt and tahini dressing. The based options are rice melody or couscous. I chose the rice melody. This bowl was more satisfying than the Shanghai Chicken Salad. The chicken tasted juicy, tender and flavorful. Choosing a thigh instead of breast brings the umami flavor of the chicken. The fresh veggies and tahini dressing was a perfect match for this option. 3. Santa Fe Salad - 3.5 Stars avocado, corn, local jack & cheddar, grape tomatoes, onions, tortilla chips, local kale, romaine, perfectly paired with chipotle-lime vinaigrette with a fresh lime squeeze. My sister added chicken thigh and avocado Chimichurri dressing. She said it was tasty. 4. South Beach - 3 Stars craisins, walnuts, green apples, blue cheese, local mesclun, romaine, perfectly paired with balsamic vinaigrette. My wife added chicken and swapped the walnuts for pumpkin seeds. The diced breast chicken was slightly dry and seasoning was lacking. The salad itself was good but wasn't too satisfying. 5. Customized Salad - 3.25 Stars My niece chose to customize her salad bowl. She chose chicken, romaine lettuces, shaved Parmesan cheese, cucumbers, edamame, and other veggie ingredients. She chose the avocado Chimichurri dressing which she liked. NOTE: they offer breakfast items and coffee. Selection of various drinks are from a deli refrigerator and they carry some Kombucha options too. Enjoy!
