While browsing for late night options, I came across this spot conveniently located near Universal. The restaurant had plenty of parking outside. After entering inside, we were seated quickly and got our waters. The interior is quite cozy and super clean. We browsed the menu and started off with egg drop soup and then ordered the Thai basil fried rice, Szechwan chicken and Kung pao chicken. The egg drop soup was pretty good but wish it was more heated up. The Thai basil fried rice was really good and loved the amount of chicken it came with. It was super flavorful and not too greasy which was nice. The Kung pao chicken was also really good and came with tons of chicken which was a nice touch. The Szechwan chicken was alright but loved that it came with so many veggies. It appears that this is a family run business and everyone was super nice and loved that the owner checked in on us multiple times. Well, unfortunately I'm giving 1 star due to this being the second time I have ordered via their website, got an order confirmation and a confirmation email, arrived well after the estimate time order would be ready, only to be told "we don't have your order". They recognized me and one employee said to another employee "His order did not come through again." -- meaning they recognize me. I have had their food numerous times and enjoy it. But I refuse to wait again for a confirmed order. I suggested that they check their ordering system because they are going to lose business. The response was "it's only you". No "please wait, we will rush your order." Well, this only you (a loyal customer) will be finding a new restaurant to give my business to. What a shame. read more

Hot and sour soup was on my mind. This place had good reviews so I went in search. I sat as a solo diner around 2 in the afternoon. Ordered the soup and an order of pan fried dumplings. Soup wasn't hot enough, like lukewarm. Server forgot my tea. Dumplings were accompanied by a sweetish soy sauce. Delicious! The menu offers a nice variety of Asian dishes from different countries, including Japanese, Chinese, and Thai, and everything we ordered was flavorful and satisfying. Service was quick, which was great since we went after 10 PM, and they're open until midnight, making this a perfect late-night dining option. The food was pretty good 4 stars. My husband really liked his choice--beef broccoli. I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp. The service was okay 3 stars. Combined, I give them 3.5 stars. There's a sign at the table--you give them 5 stars on Yelp, they give you a choice of a free egg roll, drink, or 3 crab rangoons. I felt like our table was a bit of an afterthought. We had to ask for silverware. It might sound nit picky but if you bring the food out but no utensils, it's a strike. My husband ended up using the serving spoon from his beef broccoli and just scooped his rice on the platter and started eating. Eventually, our drinks and silverware arrived. Substantial decline since last review. For a restaurant that advertises "Ramen" on its building marquee, Lee's was a disappointment. The broth, good. The noodles, worse. Mych worse. Old congealed mass. The beef, let's not discuss it beyond saying it was taken from the broccoli. The menu has shrunk. The bathroom is on par with a gas station. Three stars is really a charity vote inspired by what the bistro was years gone by. Regrettably, not going back. Too many much better options. read more

Here are the items we tried in order: Wonton soup - very flavorful, was served extra hot and was well balanced with scallions and wontons Fried dumplings - super amazing filling, fried but not too fried. The sauce served was a perfect blend of salty and tangy Crab Rangoon - on the smaller side but they came complementary for leaving a review on yelp. Standard crab rangoon you'd get at any Chinese restaurant Chicken Red Curry - this curry was super flavorful. We asked for spicy and they delivered! I was pleasantly surprised to taste king oyster mushrooms within the veggies mixed in the curry. 10/10 recommend. Would suggest to ask for Chicken well done General Tso Chicken - generous portion of chicken and veggies included in this dish. Asked for spicy, it was still pretty sweet so I'd suggest asking for extra spicy if you like a kick. We upgraded to egg fried rice and it didn't disappoint. A big family sat next to us (with a bunch of kids) and the server gave them a huge plate of fries on the house to get the kids occupied. What a kind gesture! All in all this place is a solid option. We are here for our annual theological conference for Ligonier Ministries. We're hankering for Chinese food and looked this up on YELP! and it had four stars. But I would give it five! The hostess is a doll face. Very lovely! Very accommodating. We always judge our Chinese restaurants by their hot and sour soup which was absolutely spot on. We got the General Tso's chicken. Sweeter than we are accustomed to and not as spicy as we are accustomed to, but in every other way, it was still absolutely delicious. The fried rice was amazing. Pork was a little fatty, but that's an Asian thing. that being said there were several people here eating that did not speak English... And if the locals love it that says something about the authenticity. Very authentic place. And the Kung pao shrimp, (the shrimp were gigantic)! And it was delicious as well. We were able to take half our entrees from the Dinner special home. I ordered their Shrimp with lobster sauce and it was delicious. Just how I like it. When taking my order, I wanted to add additional vegetables in and she charges $1 per vegetable so I just added one in. My date ordered the General Tso chicken and substituted for egg fried rice for $2.50 extra. I'd warn other patrons not to upgrade to egg fried rice. It was very plain and not worth it in my eyes. We just visited for Lee's for first time tonight, for a late night dinner after my sister's gymnastics competition. And our visit will certainly not be the last!!! We were delighted by this quiet and quaint restaurant, and instantly felt at home. Our food was INCREDIBLE -- truly five stars. Some of the best Asian food we've had. Standouts: Pad Thai, Red Curry Chicken, and Miso Ramen. The food came out hot and quick, and the Egg Rolls were so good. Worth every penny. Our family of 8 had literally no complaints, and we've got a couple picky foodies. Lee Bistro is in a prime spot right next to Universal Orlando and their pricing definitely reflects their premium location. While the food is good, it definitely doesn't live up to the pricing that they command, but I don't let that change my mind about going to grab things. The food is prepared pretty quickly, which is awesome after a long day. I haven't found a go-to must have yet. But, I do enjoy the Singapore Mei Fun, it does have a bit of kick (plus the curry), but I think it might be my favorite option on the menu. read more
